  I try to install Works Suite 99 my drive in my computer XP (it was previously in an old computer running Windows 98.  Setup requires a product ID number that is not in my documents of purchase in 1999 of 20 digits.  My computer has XP on a programme of work 2004, but prefer to use the simplified version of 1999 instead.  Can anyone offer suggestions to overcome being blocked by the need for a product ID during the installation.

• Re install works

  I upgraded my office from Vista to Windows 7 without realizing, I lose programs(doh!) factory installed. Is there a download available for re - install Works, or do I have to buy a new edition? My computer came with no disk program, all preinstalled

  If it was on a computer with Vista it was probably Microsoft Works 8 or more.  If you have the Microsoft product key code may allow you to download the software, but if the key is lost because the product information has been lost, so not good.  EBay can be a certain value, or just buy the latest version of Microsoft Works or Microsoft Office 2010.

  If the program is not as important, so try Open Office - software free similar and compatible to many Microsoft product documents.

  Procedure how to install the work of agent deployment:
  ================================

  1 local pr-reqs (ssh, writables)

  2 remote connection pre-reqs (compatibility, certified, space to check, cygwin, port, packs of cygwin, permissions, host name of the user, inventory)

  3 phase installation (ssh tracks, copy these files, unzip and then unjar, installs)

• Pavilion a6530f: what video card installed works for Windows 10 and a 300W power supply?

  I have a6530f a desktop Pavilion PC.  I am currently running Windows 7 and am interested in upgrading to Windows 10.  I get and error message when you try to install the W10.  "NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430".  I think I need to improve my video card.  Can what video card I install that will work for Windows 10 and is rated for the power supply 300W in my lap?  I'm not very techie.

  Many of these inexpensive graphics cards for Newegg.com should work with Windows 10. Just watch for those who require a 300 watt power supply system or less.

  Drivers for these cards may be on the page drivers GeForcefunds. Simply select the card in the drop-down list or use the "Auto-Detect".

  I have a pair of Cambidge Soundworks speakers, CSW250 (cubes of 1 subwoofer 2) I have an ASUS Republic of Gamers iwith material much more than needed to run them.  I don't remember if I had a CD to install drivers or if my system would recognize the new equipment, which he did, but I can't make them work.  Is there a driver out there if my system can't run as plug-ins play?

  You can check it on another computer and see if it works.

  You can also check if you can hear sound with another speaker.

  If it works, you can check with the manufacturer if there is a compatible driver for the speaker.

• Try to install the 2001 version of picture it, installation stalls at looking to explore 5.5, we are on explorer9

  Whwn trying to install a cersion 20001 Microsoft picture it, the insrallation stops when it does not find explore 5.5.  We are on explorer 9, is there a way that I can get this software to install, we ara moving an old computer to the my wife craft shop and this version of photo that's what she always used.  If I have to buy a newer version, I'll, but thought matbe some of you computer wizards (which I am not of course) could tell me if I can do the old version to install.

  Not sure whether you are running Windows XP. Picture It 2001 is not compatible with Windows 7.
  You can try compatibility mode, but it can be successful.
  If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
  Use the following steps:
  (1) right click on the program
  2) click Properties
  3) click on the Compatibility tab
  (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

  If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate version, install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx) and run your software in Windows XP.

  If you run Windows 7 Home Premium, you cannot run Windows XP mode, but you can try VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) or VMware Player (www.vmware.com), or any other 3rd party software virtualization and install a separate copy of Windows XP (family or professional edition) for this purpose.   I got a proposal to install a virtual machine (from oracle) and I installed it in my operating system and now its working properly.

  Your PC has an assessment Office pre-installed, which has now expired? If so uninstall MS Office.

  Not all versions of Works are compatible win7, and you don't tell what version you have.

  Hate, leaving a net open; It seems that I was just excited. Checked in 4 hours later, and I see that the two machines I have test installed on now report 2 licenses in use, everything seems fine.

• Flash on Mac, but not successfully installed works not

  I'm going round and round in circles here. I tried to use Sky Sports Score Centre at the end of week and received the following message 'you need content flash player 9 or higher to view this. You can download the most recent flash player plugin here.

  I had never uninstalled Flash, but I have updated without worrying. During the initial installation, I kept getting a message to close Safari even through Safari was already closed. I googled the question and went through several cycles uninstall and resettlement and compensation of the caches etc.

  Anyway, now I've managed to install the latest version of Flash, but when I go to use a site that uses Flash, it won't work. I get the same message as above to have need of Flash 9 or higher

  Seriously painful that it has impact sites for children too which means that I now have less calm. (Flonga, CBBC etc.)

  Can anyone help solve this problem once and for all?

  Tried to install 64-bit ovftool on VMware vMA 4.0 today and he could not install or give any useful information:

  As far as I know, the binary is actually included in the installation script, but I'm not sure why "FTP" is referenced here unless VMware is expected to download the actual source? I hope that, as the vMA is a VMware virtual appliance that it should support utilities "VMwae", but from what I've seen in the past with VDDK and VIX, is not always and not is generally not the case.

  Can someone comment or know how to install?

  You can try to re - download this file.  I could get installed it without problems on my device of vMa.  I run it on my Linux laptop.  I used scp to my laptop to download the package to the device, because even with the latest tools of vmplayer, I was unable to get shared working folders.

• Web server on ESXi terribly slow! same fee install works uber quickly on a single physical server.

  I have created a virtual machine and allocated 4gig of RAM, 2 cpu and no limit on the CPU usage.

  Freshly installed Centos5 and LAMP. Installed joomla with default content.

  Browsing the site is TERRIBLY slow... I'm talking molassas.

  Now, until people start blaming joomla, I had exactly the same fees installed on a physical server with less specs (only 1 GB of ram and 1 cpu) and it is lightning fast.

  Both are on the exact same network. And the ESXi server has only a current PBX VM to run other then the Web server. I have hordes of resources left and available on the ESXi server.

  I can not quite understand what the problem is or could be. She has available resources and doesn't have 1 million waiting to go through the server process. My Network (2) cards are defined in tandum (I guess that the combination of network cards?) this should not be a problem?

  It's just the way the esxi manages the inbound and outbound traffic? Is this normal? The only thing I can reduce to is 1) the esxi way itself works. (2) the esxi way treats my network cards and or traffic

  What are the specifications of the ESX Server - hardware and CPU? Are there other virtual machines running on ESX Server? Have you tried running with one virtual CPU virtual machine?  It is advisable to start with a single vCPU and add vCPUs only if it is necessary, or if you have empirical evidence that it is necessary - it has to do with how the virtual processors are programmed.
