  go to the windows registry (regedit search)

  expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE."

  Expand "SOFTWARE".

  Expand "SYNAPTICS".

  Expand "SynTP.

  Click on "install".

  Under 'Install', double click 'DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade' and change the value of "1" to "0".
