Trackpad/pointer settings

Hi again!

For some reason, whenever I re - start my T500, my mouse pointer settings (specifically the pointer speed) resets default back. I wonder if there is a problem with Vista, and if other users of T-series have suffered from it.

Hello

I think you are using an external mouse?

If so, then she, unfortunately, be quiet normal that the pointer settings are the settings internal pointer/mouse.

  • Mobile data does not and the name of the Access Point settings are not available

I don't have a mobile data, not even the small up and down arrows or letters beside the sims signal bars appear.

I tried all the troubleshooting settings and different type of network, the airplane mode is off, mobile data are no limit, no power save modes are on. Phone is dual sim so I tried on the two sims and tried to disable the other sim and changing the sim slots, both sims are loaded with a credit of data that works in other android devices. WiFi works fine. Factory reset does not help.

There is that one thing that I can't not try troubleshooting. When I select settings > more > mobile networks > access point names, it says

"Access Point name settings are not available for this user.

Maybe if I could put APN I could get mobile data. How can I do or how I can try to get mobile data to work?

Phone's Xperia M4 Aqua E2363 with build 26.1.B.2.102 thanks if you can help

This text is a bit misleading, which is something that I have forwarded internally as your comments.

If you have no NPP stored the phone displays the text "the name of the Access Point settings are not available for this user" even if you use the owner account and have access to the settings.

Try to download the automatic settings from settings-> more-> Internet settings and see if that helps.

  • selectingitems and trackpad pointer moves its own

I was watching a video of Amazon and may have struck a couple of keys, or my hand slipped in the keys - I don't know, but pointer froze on the follow-up to the film bar at the bottom of the screen (not sure if this is relevant, or what is called in fact this bar) in all cases, the pointer froze and then began to move erratically in bursts on the screen , selection of apps, ibooks, photos, etc. and then OPEN them as if I had clicked. Literally goes haywire as if it had a life of its own. I have NEVER experienced this during the 11 years that I've had the Mac laptop. I don't know if trackpads wear out (my current MacBook Pro is a vintage 2012 and I debated update, but it was working very well.) I wonder how to clean the dust/debris under keys because I know it can be done and I was wondering if something got under the trackpad (seems pulled by the hair) but it's really another question for me to continue. Any help on trackpad possessed pointer would be appreciated. I don't see that this issue anywhere else... - Pam

Remove the bottom plate and inspect the inside.  Pay attention to the battery to see if there are signs of expansion.  If so, take it out and have a new installed.  An extended battery can affect the trackpad.

If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.

    Ciao.

  • Trackpad 'points' fall

I use my w530 since almost a year (laptop very nice) and had a few fixable problems, such as the connection of the camera. Other than that, I just used it for related purposes (almost every day, a few hours) of the school and I noticed a point, or bump down the trackpad. Initially, it was not my, but I noticed another fell like wwell in just one month. I'm looking at the death of a trackpad or something? This will affect the functionality? It will require replacement? Thank you.

    Hi Ascentstudios1,

This is normal, it is not a problem, in my ThinkPad T430 many points have worn out. Don't worry about this.

It of just a sticker that you can buy one of these, follow the link if you're ready to buy a below.

  • Trackpad/point does not not after the withdrawal of the keyboard

Earlier today I opened my T510 for maintenance. In doing so, I removed the keyboard. After all together, the trackpoint/trackpad didn't work. This includes the the * beep *-all the buttons of the mouse mouse and trackpad. The trackpad was not yet removed, but I guess that the data connection for through the rest of the keyboard (?).

I took the keyboard several times to ensure that the connection is secure and verify if physical damage. There was nothing.

The obvious thing to do here is to replace the keyboard and desperately hope that the problem is not with the connector on the motherboard, but the problem is enough strange (keyboard works, but not the mouse) thatI thought it would be interesting to post here to see if anyone noticed.

    Solved.

As I mentioned in the last post, the trackpad connects to the motherboard through the cable labled as a speaker in the manual wire (this can be easily seen after removing the keyboard/trackpad of the machine Panel). There is a small latch to hold the cable in place at the end of the mobo. I had mixed the States secured and unsecured for this lock, which apparently broke the connection. That fixed now and everything works.

It's probably point out expressly that the * beep *-the mouse on the keyboard and mouse buttons do not seem to be depenent on the trackpad is properly plugged in, despite a separate connection to the mobo.

We had to disable Lenovo's Mobile Hotspot Windows 8.1 settings, because it is at odds with the built-in functionality of Windows 8.1.  So we had no choice other than to disable our hotspot.

But as you have noticed Windows built-in 8.1 function does not share Ethernet/WiFi and 3G / 4G.  Currently, we evaluate if we can bring back a subset of the functionality of Hotspot Mobile Lenovo, but so far we cannot embark on it.  It is not a situation to just bring something that existed before--it must be redesigned to work properly on Win8.1

  • Only detectable hotspot after the launch of the access point settings

    Hello community!

A couple of friends and I are on a trip and we all have baught a record of 15 GB (option given to us only)

I have an iPhone 6, using iOS 10 public beta (don't know if it's iOS 10 problem or not), so I said I'll just open a hot spot for them 24/7 and they will connect.

Trying to connect to a Wi - fi network from their android phones, they do not see my network, unless I just go in "Personal Hotspot" - is not turn on or turn off, simply go to that page in the settings.

My Wifi and Bluetooth are on, so I don't know why everytime I try to log in from their phones, I have to go back into the settings and press the personal hotspot tab to be discovereable...

Hope you guys now I have to do, because it makes me crazy!

    Thank you!

It has been like this since I can remember. Not sure if this is a feature or a bug tho. But it's probably something to save the battery.

  • Tap simple trackpad issue integrated

You just bought Macbook Air MMGF2HN/A. There the last OS X El Capitan 10.11.5. Having some problems with the only tap water in the built-in trackpad. Sometimes (not often) the single tap doesn't work. For example, I tap on a tab in an application, but tab does not open (and I must add, the app was 'active', he wasn't running in one window behind the other).

In my opinion I don't think that it's a hardware problem, rather, it may be a software problem. But it is, of course, very frustrating for a camera of 2 days.

Open system preferences > trackpad > point & click > check the box: Tap to click with a finger.

  • Tecra M5: Moves the pointer of the mouse to the corners of the screen - cannot be moved

Had this problem intermittently on my Tecra M5. The mouse pointer starts to crawl toward the edges/corners of the screen, then picks up speed quickly, he will bring back zipper in the corners and no amount of mouse movement. happens if I am rooted in a docking station or not. have tried on many mice with the same effect. Will and without explanation.

Also tried various re-boots, changes to the pointer settings in Vista. Everyone knows this?

One of my friends had a similar problem. Without a serious reason, the mouse pointer moved at the edge of the screen and it was not possible to control the mouse cursor.
Finally, EPA has replaced the keyboard (possibly the touchpad too don t know exactly) and this fixed the strange cursor movements

Then maybe you should contact the ASP in your country and ask for help.

  • detect single-point XNET CAN timeout

    Hello

I've implemented a CAN communication via Signal XNET single-point settings.

I need to detect a time on the CAN line if a bus-elect is no longer active. I found this possibility for the parameters of FRAME CAN, but not single-point signal.

How can I implement this timeout notification?

    Thank you very much

    Magnus

    Hello Magnus,

first that I want to recommend the "single-point input Signal Mode" in the XNET help (first link in the XNET (single-point Signal) reading .vi) article for a better understanding of the feature.

If you wish to set up an audit of the time-out period, you can use the function "XNET .vi (XY Signal) read", so that you get a delivery timestamp. When query you that you can build a lag.

    Best regards
