Train of SVM IMAQ for no Image data

Hello

I am fairly new to machine algorithms for learning about Labview so please be patient if my question seems stupid. I was wondering if there is a workaround to use the screw of Machine Vision SVM (e.g. IMAQ SVM Train) for not the image data. I know Machine learning package and I will surely give it a try with those but MV screws are really well organized and allow to record the training in a very elegant manner.

Indications, suggestions or, well, even a "no, can't it' is really appreciated!

Moreover, any luck of having the learning algorithm Machine present natively in LV?

Thank you

FRAX

-According to my knowledge IMAQ screws are specifically for the Images.

-Your best chance is using Machine learning package that you have already found.

I'm trying to run multiple queues in the same loop entering IMAQdx images from several cameras, and then save to AVI. After reading the site nor a little, I discovered that the reason why I get only the last image of each bucket, repeated on all frames in the AVI file, is that the IMAQ image data type stores only the memory location for the image, not the image itself data. However, I don't see a better solution for the queues of the actual image data. What conversion could be the fastest / are in charge of the processor the lowest?

For each image you must initial Image space.

You can use something like this:

You need to add initialization camera (s) and AVI. You must add the multicamera feature. Stop recording is missing.

  • IMAQ for LabView photo image

    Hello

I use the XY graph to display GPS data, XY graph also displays a map that is be pre-processed using vision functions to display a correct part of the image data, climb the ladder etc.

Everything works fine, but the average standard conversion

long (25 ms). He becomes hostile user, when all scales / relocation of the XY graph introduces a delay.

IMAQ vision preprocessing takes about 25ms too, as well as other calculations, the user's response is about 60ms, and it's just so - so to use.

I hope to cut treatment time here, because he just flattening a table.

I started to do my own IMAQImage2LVPic function, but little success, because I do not understand the Image of the LVPicture format, I get distorted images, violations of memory, and it becomes frustrating.

The structure of the memory of the LVPicture would be nice to know. Help, please.

Rather than drawing in the PlotImage of the XY graph, have you tried to make the transparent XY graph (which includes both the background of the chart and also control encompassing) and placing it in front of a screen of Vision?  Then, you will not need conversion.  I have not tried, so I don't know if there may be problems with the speed of drawing, flicker or aliasing, but it might be interesting to try.

  • Image Data Converter for Mac rotation loop

I have the latest version of Image Data Converter for Mac.  Normally I use Lightroom, but I wanted to try this software because it is designed for Sony raw files.

The software works pretty well on my Mac Pro 2013, unless there are too many raw files in the directory in which I work, OR, apparently, in the surrounding directories (that is, a library of raw files. organized in folders named after the date  In this case, although the program opens very well (even if it can run for a while at the beginning, no doubt scanning the photos in the folder), attempts to change a raw file quickly causes the program to enter a loop of rotation.  The progress on the operation bar to progress issue (change of saturation, noise reduction, etc.) all the way to the right, then the program hangs forever.  In one case, I waited an hour to see if it would eventually take himself off, but no luck.

If, on the other hand, I do a new folder outside the hierarchy of photo library, copy all the raw (40 - odd of them) files in the new folder, and then the Image Data Converter point to the new folder, it works very well.

This is a really special bug.  This means that the software works for people who are only noodling autour, but if someone wants to do a serious blow to a large library of publishing, he can forget it!  This is really not the kind of behavior of Sony would allow.

  • For help. DLL file / library call for the USB camera Image data file

    Hello

I'm new to the use of the library and imaging data files. Attached is a picture of the "call library leader." I don't know how to set up the entry of 'beef' / frame buffer.

More information is explained in the attached PDF file.

Basically, I just need to recover data from image and convert it to a real image. I sought help of LabVIEW and other sites files, but I can't find a clear solution. Any help would be appreciated.

FYI - I can communicate with the camera using other functions of library file. Opens the camera, I can set/view KING and other data. I can't quite understand the frame buffer.

  • IMAQdx multi-camera systems: shortcuts for composite image sewn

Imagine a system using for example multiple GigE cameras through IMAQdx interface where we want to be a stitched composite of multiple camera views. The principle of sewing is naïve, simple concatenation, one next to the other.

The problem is that, when it is trivial to build a composite image, it is difficult to do this very effectively. Image sizes are large, tens of millions of pixels, so that each copy of questions. Configurations material alternative would open many options but say we are stuck using GigE cameras and (at least initially) the IMAQdx interface. What are the tips or even hacks, you guys can imagine facing this challenge?

I've seen some talk about the IMAQdx capture buffers and it seems to me that one can not manually allocate these buffers or access it directly. The absolute best scenario would obviously be to hack your way around to spread the image data next to each other in memory, sort of as follows in scenario1.png:

The foregoing, however, don't seem to be too easy to achieve. Second scenario would be to acquire in the individual buffers and perform one copy in the composite image. See the illustration below:

Interfaces usually allow this with relative ease. I have not yet tested, but based on the documentation using ring acquisition of buffer and "Extracted IMAQdx Image.vi" this should be possible. Can anyone confirm this? The copy can be carried out by an external code as well. The last scenario, without ring buffer, using ' IMAQdx to Image2.vi ' might look like this:

The second copy is a loss for this scenario should be out of the question.

I hope this makes some. Want you magicians say about this?

Unfortunately he has no concept of a "sub-image" where you could have acquired acquire seamlessly in an image that represents a region of a larger image. However, you are right that the acquisition of the ring with the extract is the way to remove a copy. In this mode, the user allocates the internal buffers imaqdx uses by means of standard images, and then they can access those without copying directly. You can simply extract the image of each camera (zero-copy) ring buffer, then use the VI ImageToImage to copy a region in your larger picture (a copy).

  • Can I have a global calibration for different images sizes in VBAI

I run a VBAI algorithm on images from several cameras to linear scan.  We use a square, simple, calibration (.42mm/pixel) for each image, they are always 1024 pixels wide, but can vary in length of the image.  Currently, I use several instances of Calibration Wizard then 10 to account for variations in length, but it seems to me that the internal calibration resulting is the same for each instance.  So is it possible that I can set up a unique calibration use if for any length of the image?

    Thank you

This is a feature that we added in the latest version of Vision Builder AI (2012), which will be available very soon.

Would it be possible for you to use the LabVIEW execution step to calibrate your image? If so, you can call a LabVIEW VI that sets the calibration using IMAQ Calibration2 Simple to set, after the steps in the acquisition. Once the image is calibrated, all subsequent steps must return results calibrated, even if you do not use the VBAI built in calibration.

  • Manipulation of Image data display

    Hello

So I'm a first time LabVIEW user and I am struggling with programming graphically the project I have to do...

The type of data, I work with are bitmap images.  Basically, a single image is there (along the y-axis) data and length of wave (along the x axis).  Each successive image shows these data for a certain value of x.  Thus, all images in the folder hold a data cube (x, y, wavelength).

I want to do is create a VI to display these data nicely.  I want to average all wavelength data (which are in rows) to a point given y in a given image (point x) and then make sure the average value of table in a table to index x 2D, y.

I would like for this 2D table correspond to a bitmap "average."  And if you click on a pixel/cell in this table/image (which is formed by an average of all wavelength for each pixel data), then a spectral wavelength data diagram is plotted in a separate chart.  In this way, you see the overall picture, but if you are interested in a certain point you can graphically see the raw data of wavelength after clicking on this point.

For now, I created test data.  I run an Excel Macro to combine all data into a great file.  Each 'image' is three lines and three wavelengths by rank.  In the attached excel file, you see the 9 lines because I put 3 images together one after the other.  The problem is, LabVIEW, I try to create the new 2D array which is the average of image, but I'm not sure how to extract the data in column "means" in this new matrix.  Because each "image is 3 lines long, I need to take the first 3 values in the 4th row in the data table (average values) and do as my 1st column, then take then 3 values in column 4, making the 2nd column, etc..".  The new 2D array should therefore all 7s.

I'd appreciate any help to go on this task, but also a response to the problem, I am currently facing.  If I didn't explain that well, let me know and I will clear up everything that was confusing!

It's generally a bad idea to have data sample degenerate as in this case, where each item is 7. It does not easily check if the correct order and the conversion is achieved. (Also, your second loop is yabba of LabVIEW. )

Try something like the picture shows... (of course the constant diagram must be replaced my calculations based on the size of the input array).

  • save an image in an image file and reloaded on another computer for the image processing

    Hello

Can I save the image to an image file and then reload the file on another computer for the image processing? What type of image format should I save for it? Is there any loss of image if I do this? The machine with the camera sits in our lab, and I want to test the software on my own computer image processing. So can someone give some good ideas on this. Thank you

    Jane

I assume you have the module development VDM and vision acquisition software going TO on your computer.

So just use playback IMAQ and IMAQ save functions. BMP, png are good for losless save unlike jpg and jpeg2000.

It was suggested to specify a different location for the second image... but when I run the process of backup image... first a screen shows my external drive where the image will be stored... but then the screens seem to just continue to do a backup. I don't see any place where I can change the location of the image... • Image data that is embedded within a JSON string.

    Hi all!

I would put the image data 'sequenced' in a JSON string so that I can use in ScriptUI, pick from a JSON object.

As you can see, this site did not like all the stuff that are highlighted in red

    https://jsonformatter.curiousconcept.com/

Parsing JSON was not working in the analysis of these data, and of course this image did not show in my ScriptUI dialog box.

Any suggestions on how to format it to conform to the JSON syntax, if possible?

Thanks Micky, it seemed that avoidance by means you listed had somehow changed some real characters, so it does not end up practicing in real code. However, I also noticed that the site I listed myself was less than optimal for understanding my problem: I used instead (http://codebeautify.org/jsonvalidate), I would have quickly noticed the blackslashes issue because it uses better syntax highlighting!

Now, I decided to use encodeURI() to transform this channel of image data in a valid JSON string. It seems to work when you turn such a string directly in a ScriptUI.newImage (), but now I have to find one couple of other things to make sure he got by JSON analysis inside my script, I'm working on that.

    Hello

You can try this step once and see if that helps you.

Please uncheck the "use page cache" option in the preferences in the Edit menu.

Edit > Preferences > Page Display > uncheck 'use page cache' and see if this solves the problem.

Revive your Acrobat once and then check.
