  Our users have the E: drive mapped to one place. But I need a scheduled task in order to use the E: drive to point to a different location at the same time, without affecting the mapping of moose for logged in users.

  There is no work around this need of ours. This is because users are working 24 X 7 update of our data files on the E: drive, and a log file is made. We plan prevent users for a minute every night while move us / save the log file and then allow users of the resume and allow a new log file to create. Then take the saved log file and apply it to a real set of monthly backup of data files, so the backup files will be ready for a recovery after disaster. The program that applies the transactions recorded in the data files is able to apply operations to files that are considered as being in the same exact location.

  I know that's not possible without resorting to the application logs a set of files on a completely different machine. But I ask.

  Difficult to know, from your description, what you really want. As mentioned Action is a very good option.

  There is also the "Front Image" option. You can designate any image opened (with the good harvest and the resolution), as your image before. Then with the crop tool is active, you can put these attributes directly in the options of the crop for any other image tool. This can be a quick way to unify a series of images in the same dimensions.

  I'm just getting started with Lightroom, etc. and work on organizing. I am currently copying my files camera raw to my iPad Pro and their synchronization with my MacBook Pro on creative cloud.

  I noticed as the default storage on my MacBook on my system drive (pictures > Lightroom > MobileDownloads.irdata) that I don't want to since it is an SSD with a space limited. In Lightroom on Mac I tried to change the Mobile with Lightroom preferences on a different disk (I've updated the Mac with a 2nd drive), but it always seems to be synchronized with the original location. I tried to restart Lightroom but still the same. Any ideas please? Thank you.

  Synchronization is complete? Ober hover your identity plate (upper-left) and click on the triangle icon that appears. You can check the status of the synchronization.

  In this case, it should be fairly easy to create an action that you can batch.

  You start with a picture of trim.  The white space around the products should be prepared as to the limits of products,

• How can I synchronize catalogs on 2 computers that use the same location for the image files?

  For example, I use LR4.2 on a desktop computer and a laptop computer. Two computers (Windows 7 64-bit) go to the same image files. On my laptop in a folder, I have 42 master images and 5 virtual (virtual events) for a total of 47 images. But when I open LR4.2 on the desktop I do not see the 5 virtual (virtual events) on the 42 master images.

  It has no function in LR to synchronize catalogs.

  If your pictures are on an external hard drive, you can move the file catalog to this external hard drive, and then you will have a catalogue on your desk and another on the laptop. Just use the one on your external hard drive.

  If your pictures are on a network drive, you can not put the file catalog here, so the only answer I know is to manually transfer the catalog back from one computer to the other file.

  Don't know what you mean with the get info part, but you can make a model

  for metadata, you want to appear in all the files.

  In the metadata high Panel on the right is a small triangle that if you click on it

  Displays a context menu. Inherent choose Create a metadata template. Fill it out

  desired fields and save it as a proper name.

  Blaine91555 thanks for the update.  Managed networks often show performance slowed due to configuration errors, that's why I assumed it was a configuration problem.

  You can download the installation of basic programs by following the steps listed in the Adobe CC 2014 Direct Download Links: Creative Cloud 2014 Release. ProDesignTools.  It would need then only allows you to download the updates that are applicable on the local computer after installation.  There are also directions available to directly download updates, but I recommend by the automatic process to ensure that you receive applicable updates.

  I did 8 separate actions within the same series are slightly different textures for an image. Actions are labeled 1, 2, 3... etc.
