• Page auto numbering problem if I export to PDF

  I use IDS 5.5 with all updates. I set up a book and when I export to PDF for print, fourth chapter numbering remains the same (namelly pages 56 and 57) although I have implemented correctly master pages with the special character of AutoNumber. If I export only this chapter as a document, it exports all right. No problem with the numbers of the pages (?). In ID, the numbers look ok. I have not tried to print directly fron ID, I guess it will print ok, but it's a very strange behavior... Thanks much for any thoughts.

  It is unlikely, that there is a problem with Acrobat, try opening this chapter only and exportingit to idml, then resave as indd.

• Auto numbering in an editable table cell

  I created a dynamic array with Add/Remove buttons line and the second column with text fields.  The text field I mean first < enter task 1 > and < enter task 2 > and when the user click on the line button Add then it looks like < enter task 3 >.  I tried the display of models but do not know how to get it to auto numbering.  I also tried the formcalc script $ = Concat ("" < Task ', $. ") parent.index + 1, ">").  It seemed to work with automatic numbering, but then I could not actually edit the boxes.  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated... Thank you.

  You did the ReadOnly or protected field?

  Also make sure where did you put your code? If it's in the event Calculate, the default value is "calculated - ReadOnly.

  Place the code in the Initialize event could help.

  What is a Word document with chapter numbering that you opened in Pages? What specific version of Pages?

  V5.6.1 auto-incremental offer Pages, or Pages ' 09 chapter numbering, much less, multilevel numbering. Only automatic incremental hierarchical numbers are lists, but you can not enter live Start at: 5.2.7 as only integer values are allowed. There is no field "Start finally" input, checkbox or selection in Pages ' 09 or v5.6.1.

  Maybe the Pages ' 08 v3.0.3 that I have not? You specify the version of Pages claim to use.

  Hey guys, I rebooted the phone until it vibrates 3 times and now it works again I hope that the problem will not recur... I'll keep guys updated if something ever happen again

• TMS 14.3 - auto connect problem - multiple call attempts

  Hi people,

  I have a client with an environment with TMS 14.3, conductor XC 2.2, VCS 7.2.2 TP Server 3.1 and CUCM 8.6.2. They have several items on VCS and several endpoints of CTS/TX registered to CUCM Cisco and Polycom endpoints. There is a trunk SIP between CUCM and VCS. Conductor is integrated with VCS by using the B2BUA deployment model. TP server is behind the driver used as multipoint resource only for conferences scheduled through TMS.

  We are having problems when planning a Conference at TMS using type "Auto-connect" and setting driver to dial a number to the selected participants. For some end points when the meeting starts, conductor made several calls try to participants, even after participants answering the call. For example, conductor connects to an endpoint 3000 CTS, CTS answers the call and connect to the meeting, but a few seconds later, conductor's call another attempt at the endpoint, then endpoint answers the second call and put the first call on hold.

  This problem occurs for the following parameters:

  • Endpoints of Polycom HDX series
  • CUCM items of endpoint CTS/TX
  • Outside dial participants (those selected on the tab 'External' to the planning page)

  The problem does not occur for any endpoint TC registered in VCS.

  As a troubleshooting step, the client was trying to configure TMS to try to connect to the participants once (using the "Attempts to connect for scheduled calls" setting value 1), but the issue still occur.

  Tomorrow, I'll be on the customer's site to check if this strange behavior has been generated by TMS or by the chef himself. I really think that it is some sort of bug. I don't know that their environment has been configured properly according to the Cisco documentation, because I was the person who made the project.

  I'd appreciate any suggestions really.   =)

  a few days back we had seen this problem and I filed the bug "CSCui90143."

  Currently, we anticipate that this problem occurs because the MSD is not able to understand the message of feedback from the conductor.

  I hope that clarifies. I don't have to if you want to be able to access the bug or not.

• Page numbering problem

  So, I'm having a problem getting my pages are displayed correctly. This should show the page 9 and 10, not 1.9 and 1.10. I can't figure out how to remove the 1.

  Looks like the paragraph is formatted as a numbered list.

• Auto-tagging problem

  I've enabled auto-tagging on my script, and when I tried to log in again to see the changes, my script would not be responsible. Now, I can't get in my script at all.

• Auto numbering Reset

  I have a reserved in InDesign CS5. Page numbers have been added to the master page by placing a text at the bottom of each page box and put a self numbering text inside.

  A few pages in the book, however, are empty and do not need a number, I went and manually deleted these page numbers. I did it by pressing command + shift and clicking on the dotted line at the bottom of the page text box. The text box would then be possible to manipulate. After that, I did two things:

  (1) deleted the page inside the text box number

  (2) delete the text box itself.

  (I think I would have just deleted the page numbers, but in some cases, I have deleted the entire text box).

  Now the text has changed slightly, and a few pages who used to be Virgin are more virgins, so I need to add some in. back of page numbers

  (1) in case I deleted the page inside the text box number, I know I can just type the correct number in but is possible I can get will to automatically add the correct number?

  (2) in case I deleted the entire text box, I know I can add a new text box on this page, but it will not be connected to the automatic numbering system. Is there a way I can restore the text-auto box?

  To restore the original master page text frame, reapply the master by dragging from the top of the pages Panel and the applicant on the right page in the lower section.

  You can number the files you receive (on your end, on the user

  end), or you can use random numbers instead of those sequential, or you

  can use a form that is based on the web instead of a PDF file.

• Generation of auto field problem?

  I have a page for the creation of a record. When the user clicks on the button 'create' controls come to this page.
  
  As soon as the order is in the page that I am auto production "Device Id" and Code «device»
  
  There are two buttons one is 'Apply' and another is "Cancel".
  
  Button to save recording and cancellation button to return to the first page to apply.
  
  It is whenever I am clicking on all touch Device ID and device code generates again...
  
  What should be the problem. ?
  
  Auto generate device id (primary key), I replaced create method EOImpl and the device code, I wrote a method inside AMImpl and call this method next PR of the Insert page.

  Hello

  You could write auto code generation in the PR method by calling an AMImpl method.
  So every time the page is loaded, it executes this method to automatically generate.

  To reslove the issue, there must be some condition if such that PR will perform this method only when the control is coming from the create"" button.

  Also can you paste your PR and AMImpl code for automatic generation here?

• Reference numbering problems InDesign CS6

  Hey people,

  Having a problem I can't seem to understand. I'm carrying a book with a bunch of references and notes. When I insert the first note, all nice and good works, as long as I am referencing things on the same page. As soon as I move on to a second page with notes, numbers restart themselves.

  Then on page one, my grades 1,2,3. In the text box notes, they are properly referred to as 1, 2, and 3. On page two, I have the notes 4 and 5. When I "insert a reference", the text box down restarts at 1, send me references 1 and 2 instead of 4 and 5.

  In the reference options, "numbers to restart all" is NOT selected. I tried everything, to no avail.

  I am fairly new to inDesign, you can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Auto save problem

  First 5.5

  I got my self entity to 50 versions of backup at 5 min intervals and I find when the auto record number reached 50 more early for those who are not replaced. The program always comes up with 'save project' every 5 minutes, but I can't find where it is they save (or even at all). I just noticed this problem (after a premature crash). A couple of months a go, I did a reinstall of Win 7 and 5.5 production premimum, I don't have this problem when I had only 5.5 installed first. Any thoughts...

  Look at the Date of modification.  This will give you the most common auto save.

• Table of contents page numbering problem

  I do turn a problem in which the Table of contents, newly created or updated to date, is not its own pages, causing all the page numbers next to be turned off by the number of pages in the table of contents itself.

  If it isn't one thing, it's another.  It seems that after each problem I resolve, another a pop up!  If you value your sanity, don't convert extremely complicated documents and the largest in XML format using a custom application.  LOL anyway...

  I think it's much to hope, but asked me if I could make FrameMaker export numbering as the attribute value.

  For example, if we have a Section called, "1.2.3 goal", then is the text and 1.2.3 is an AutoNumber.  Can I save the document in XML format and store this number (1.2.3) as an attribute?

  The basic answer is no, this can be done with FrameMaker out-of-the-box. But, I have to ask why you want to do? Maybe you need to pass the XML to another application that is unable to autodial?

  If I do that I would like to use one of the following methods:

  1. XSLT allows you to recreate the autonumber directly in the XML file.
  2. Use FrameScript to write the AutoNumber in the attribute in FrameMaker.
  3. The frame Developer Kit allows you to write a client who wrote the AutoNumber in the attribute.
