    Hello community,

my old Dtek50 of a month, sometimes stops auto rotation toggle turn same auto is on. I checked the settings-accessibility - auto rotation... is on. Device settings-display-when is turned isn't properly adjusted on do rotate the contents of the screen. I did the test of the sensor with the expert virtual Blackberry and the sensor works very well. I tried with a game using the sensor and everything is ok. A simple reboot solves always... but it's a bit boring.

Last week, it happened twice. I noticed this problem after update from September.

Anyway, today I did a factory reset... I'll monitor the device without having to install the apps I use generally.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Auto rotation problem solved! As I said in my previous posts my sensor has worked well (and so I have is maybe a software problem, kernel?).. .so I tried a few apps from the game store: the only one who's really works: "auto rotation to lie down". For those who are facing the problem just install the app and give the requested permissions. Works like charm! Glad for not having sent the smartphone for repair!

  • (hp envy 13-j000na 2 x) does not auto-rotation of the screen after upgrade to windows 10

I can put in power 'Rotation lock' and "tablet mode" in the center of the action, but this does not help.

I have noticed that after the last MS updated (KB3093266), auto-rotation started working even after a restart of the tablet. In Device Manager, the device driver Simple guidance is installed. For the moment, I think my problem is solved.

  • Yet WT8-A-102 screen auto rotation after update not

Yet WT8-A-102 screen auto rotation after update not
I have re installed the drivers

Now the Tablet does not start-> error - system thread unhandled exception

The system Thread Exception BSOD error unhandled in Windows 8 arises especially due to incompatible or old graphics card drivers.

I assume that you have installed drivers that were not compatible
To solve this problem I recommend you choose the Windows repair procedure

You should start the tablet in the menu boot device
Press on and hold the flight button + and hold also the power button until the device turns on and the boot device selection menu appears.

Now you should be able to choose the option of HARD drive recovery.
Then choose troubleshooting and got advanced options
Here, you should be able to repair the system automatically.

  • Yoga 900 - Auto Rotation not working / present

    Hello

Well, after my new 900 Yoga for a few days, I turned it off for the first time tonight. Subsequently the auto rotation function had disappeared. No more option in the display settings and registry keys for automatic rotation have been set to 0. HID sensors in the Device Manager are installed properly.

I tried to reinstall Windows 10 and it worked, but after restarting once more, he has stopped working again.

I read that there are many people with this problem, maybe someone found a solution?

Solved the problem: I used o & o 12 to keep my life private for me adding all recommended and in part of the changes to the windows 10. Well, that is banned the sensor monitoring to begin service. Restore the changes and start services solved my problem.

    I hope this helps someone!

  • SONY VAIO DUO 13 - Auto rotation is not selected, and yet the screen is still running.

I have a problem with the autorotation feature on my laptop sony vaio duo 13 hybrid. Auto rotation feature is disabled but my screen is always turning.

How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Rob

This drove me crazy as well.

The issue is that software Sony turns on automatically auto-rotation whenever reduce you the notebook in tablet mode regardless of any previous or current setting.

    I found a work around:

Section of the Starter - 'Device Manager' - under the sensors turn off 'HID sensor Collection.

Now, even if the laptop says automatic rotation of images... it will not be because it is not aware of his orientation.

    Peace finally...

What you're saying is that sometimes the front element rotates (making it difficult to use a polarizing filter) and sometimes is not; right? It's entirely a function of the lens. In the lenses more modern, the front element does not turn, but it does in a few less expensive lenses.

  • tm2t 1000 auto-rotation

I had business with the help of HP since a month now on automatic rotation of the screen show.  I'm curious to know if it's really a defect or just a bad design.

Problem #1:  When I flip the back cover in Tablet PC mode, I expect the screen to rotate automatically in portrait mode.  Mine does not work.  He remains in landscape.  I have to press the button on the cover to get it to run.

Problem #2: In tablet mode, I prefer "secondary portrait".  In this way, the bezel (which is the heaviest part of the Tablet), is resting in my hand... which actually feel lighter.  By default, the first position is portrait primary school.  So, I went to control panel-> Tablet PC settings and clicked on the link "orientation."  In the options, I disabled the primary and secondary Landscape Portrait.  What I expected now, when I press the button, it alternates between standard landscape and portrait favorite.  Instead, it does not take into account these parameters and turns to all 4 positions.  So now, when I want to make the portrait, I have 3 times press the button to do it where I want.

Problem #3: After I get to secondary portrait, if I plug in the device it in (all in tablet mode), he returned to primary landscape.  Again, I must press the button 3 times to get it to where I want to.  :-(

I've been a user of Tablet for about a decade.  I recently replaced a version of Acer of 7 years.  The old Acer was so much more usable than this one.

I deal with support and they seem to think that it is faulty hardware.  For some reason, the first time I sent it, they replaced the keyboard.  Seems random to me.  He always behaves in this way and they want to send me new.

Can someone tell me if this is how your Tablet?  I'm curious to know if it is defective or general bad design.  My hunch is this one.

    The fixed!

    http://www.touchsmartdevzone.com/forum/thread/2919/for-HP-TouchSmart-TM2-only-fixes-and-updates/

Bravo for the link above.  Here are the steps I took to make my portrait of auto rotation for secondary display:

    1. I uninstalled quick launch button software
    2 restarted
    3. I googled: HP QuickLaunch 6.40.12.2 L and found a direct link to an older version of the software.
    4 installed
    5 changed Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Hewlett - Packard HP Quick Launch Buttons\Schemes\Default\8526\Tablet_Docked_Display_Orientation = 2

    where

    0 - primary landscape
    1 - seconday portrait
    2 - seconday landscape
    3. primary portrait

    6 reboot

Now my screen automatically rotates secondary portrait in tablet mode.

WARNING!  As I test it... it seems that my screen rotation button no longer works.

I'm perfectly content with that because I never want my primary landscape screen when it is a laptop and the secondary portrait in the form of tablets.  I can still rotate the screen preferably video editing if I had to.  According to the link, you may be able to keep the functionality of the button by just copying on a particular DLL from the older version of the app.  I can try it eventually.

  • Photo auto rotation to importation into LR3?

    Hello!

When you import directly from a card in LR3, vertical pictures are displayed correctly in the library, but JPEG files are not turned in the file system.

This isn't a problem if you change with CS5, or export the photos. In these cases they are handled appropriately.

However if you change by something else (in the filters of my Topaz case via Topaz Fusion Express), the pictures are not properly turned.

    Context: W7x64, LR3, cameras (EOS5D, G10) set for auto-rotation 'on '.

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

    Thank you very much!

    1. Are you talking about the JPEGs from the camera or those exported to LR?
    2. What do you mean by "in the file system" (explore thumbnails)?

  • Elite x 2 1012: Disable "auto rotation" on Elite X 2 1012

I have a X 2 1012 elite and I can't conrol the function "auto rotation". There is no hardware button and I do not see a combination of keys.

Yet when I go into the section display settings for Windows 10 "rotation lock" button is grayed out, - I can't select it.

    Any suggestions?

    Shahman,

I was wondering if your keyboard base is attached when you try to access the setting of auto rotation?

It should be greyed out when attached and only reactive once detached.

Sometimes, once separated, you may need to rotate the tablet to portrait. Then the automatic rotation of images button works.

    Have you tried this yet?

  • ThinkPad Yoga 14 (20FY) - can not auto-rotation, Missing in Action Center - WIndows 10

I just did a clean install of Windows on my Thinkpad Yoga 14 10. I tried to install all the drivers that I could. The only thing missing for the laptop, it's that I can't auto-rotation in tablet mode. Auto-rotation setting is missing from the center of the action and enter the display settings is not an option to allow auto-rotation. I also tried enabling the sensor, the sensor monitoring service and Service of sensor data with no luck. What are the conditions to get this working?

    Thank you!

I finally got it to work. After some intense searching, I found the driver that I had to install. It ends up being the Intel integrated sensor Solution. Installation of the package has work as well as the addition of a "sensors" section in device with drivers HID sensor Manager.

It's weird that the driver does not show in the ThinkPad Yoga 14 drivers page.

  • Want 2 13 inch x: Envy x 2 auto rotation doesn't work after upgrade to windows 10. And touchpad gestures

I installed the last HP Support Assistant for windows 10 and I have installed the updates

    Intel virtual button driver

    HP system event utility

Updates cannot be installed without giving a reason:

    Driver Intel Serial i/o

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver

    In display settings

I checked the box ' allow screen auto-rotation.

In Windows Update , I've updated with

    Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3074678)

    Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3074676)

    Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3081424)

In Device Manager under the sensors

The sensor HID V2 collection, works correctly

    SDO sensor V2, works correctly

I did remove these devices and resettlement

    In the user account

I created a new user with password. Auto rotation wasn't in this user

But all this did not work. Please find a solution for me.

On the gesture of the TouchPad:

swipping inside the left is used to change the app, now does not work.

swipping inside the use of right to bring out the charm bar / Center of the action, now does not work

Yes. I found the answer here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-display-and-video/HP-envy-X2-13-j020CA-Windows-10-Auto-rotate-autorotate-now/m-p/5212887#M115445

I tried to replace the device driver Sdo sensor V2 with the Simple device orientation sensor and rotation works exactly as it did on 8.1.

For memory - very Sdo sensor v2 reported the device orientation, and the Simple device orientation sensor signals when the orientation changes. Must be a bug in Windows.
