• Yet CS4 transcode whole project for 1 exported sequence

  Hi all.  I'm relatively new to Premiere Pro and more.  I am using CS4 and I have the following problem: I have a sequence in Premiere Pro that has 5 clips about 1.5 minutes each - a total of 7.5 minutes.  If I export that sequence to still using Dynamic Link still transcodes the entire project before burning the 5 clips on DVD.  Given that the project has hundreds of clips that this transcoding takes about 1 1/2 hours.  If I import the 5 clips directly in still active, he only transcode 5 clips takes about 20 seconds each.  My question is why think still must transcode all of the project and, more importantly, is it possible to change this behavior.  Surely, we must recognize that there are 5 clips burn and transcodes than those.  Is there a setting I'm missing?

  I think it's time to close this debate.  After researching, I came to the conclusion that Jim and Stan are right still do not transcode the entire project, even if for this, some transformation on each element in the project (as I've seen in Windows Resource Monitor).  This led to an overload of 17 minutes if I was burning 5 clips or 50.  The real problem seems to be that any export of PP, or export to the media or dynamic links, use a process that is extremely intensive CPU (PProHeadless) for transcoding. The next thing I will try is to see if I can get PP to transcode files without using this process and see if it's faster.  In any case, this question is answered.  Thanks to Stan and Jim for help.

  Well, it worked nice and good, and all of a sudden it started working weird when I tried to install an export of the application.

  When you try to import the export file, it just runs and runs forever and can be found in the error message

  I have a Macbook Pro (early 2011) running on Yosemite 10.10.4 was last updated. I've updated all my apps creative cloud to the last update as well. My problem is this: I can use applications very well (except that they must constantly force quit instead of exit normally... but this could be another story) and I can export files. However, even when you export a file to the desktop, when I try to open it, I get an error message indicating that I don't have permission to view it. This happens in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign - all the ones I use regularly.

  To see if there is a problem with my mac, I ran disk utility and repair permissions. I restarted in recovery also and terminal mode to reset my user password. Nothing has solved the problem of permissions and what I tested other applications (such as Text Edit), it seems to be limited to Adobe CC. I don't know if this has started to happen when I updated the CC or when I updated to Yosemite last or if it is a problem between the two.

  Any idea?

• Issue of ODI - Import & Export

  I use ODI in two environments (development & Test, both are in different servers).
  
  In development, I have Master repository with Internal ID = 0 & repository working with internal ID = 1
  In the Test environment, I have Master repository with Internal ID = 0 & repository working with internal ID = 1
  
  I tried to export the project and development models, it was completed successfully. I put these files in the Test environment path.
  
  I successfully imported models in the ODI Test environment. But, when I tried to import project, I've faced the below error
  
  XML import error:
  com Sunopsis.Core.m: this action to import has been canceled because it could damage your repository (problem with the identifier sequence)
  
  Can someone help me what steps must be taken to import the project without any problem with the steps in detail?

  Hi Raphael,.

  His pure shock ID, your DEV and TEST being same, repository IDS his should be different in any environment, say DEV Master-0, 1-work and TEST Master-2, 3-work something like that.

  You will need to empty the TEST deposits and create a new deposits with UNIQUE ID.

  I saw this request, but the answers seem not to apply. I import from iPhoto and edit the photo. How can I send it to iPhoto or the desktop?

  Set your preferences from PES backup to save the existing file, then if you make a backup (not save as) iphoto will remember your last edition more original version. Do not change the name or the format of the image.

  Save a new file on the desktop, import file edited in iphoto as a new file.

• Exported JPEGs will appear desaturated

  It's only a recent issue, but I have export any image in Lr or Ps file appears very desaturated when exporting as AdobeRGB or ProphotoRGB, while that only a little desaturated as sRGB. Why is this happening? I've never had this problem before about 3 weeks ago. I looked at some old pictures (almost a year) and now they appear over-saturated in windows photo viewer. The only reason I noticed that it is because I had a few images printed after have exported them in AdobeRGB. Skin everyone looked gray "exotic."

  Exporting as sRGB especially solved the problem, but the JPEG format resulting is not 100% accurate when compared the way in which the image appears in Lr or PS.

  I can't seem to find the reason why my exported AdobeRGB prints (and my office) appear desaturated.

  As I said, they appear desaturated as photo viewer is not color management.

  To correctly display the Adobe RGB images, you use colors such as PS, LR, bridge management applications or Explorer free Irfanview.

• Export to FLO: fix some fonts, other missing fonts

  Hello

  I'm pretty well a beginner to export an epub FLO, so hopefully there is a simple answer to this.

  My problem is that when I export my publication seems fine in InDesign, very well in PDF format, but when exporting an ePub FLO some fonts seems to disappear completely get replaced by what looks like a Times Roman.

  I would be very grateful if someone has a tip how I can fix this!

  When you export to Reflowable ePub is a dialog box called "EPUB - recomposable Layout Options of Export", on the CSS tab, there is an option to check/uncheck the box include embeddable fonts.

  Try again with some different fonts and see what happens.

• Invalid objects after the discharge of the export is refreshed. How to fix?

  I made a pattern only export dump and then imported into a test environment. Now, there are about 40 invalid objects. I used utlrp.sql to make them disappear.
  
  All are deleted except a procedure owned by a user of the app.
  
  I want to recreate it, but fear there are some permissions, grants associated with this procedure.
  
  How be sure all connected with this procedure, such as subsidies, permissions, links will be recreated?

  With Original Export/Import, you can use the settings FILE and the FILE size in order to split the dump in several files of dump and also to import multiple dump files:

  In this example, each dump file size is limited to 2 GB.

  Hey everyone, I'm pulling my hair out here... My printer is I have to export as PDF1.3 (I normally do PDF1.4 and do not have this problem), I have some images of Photoshop that I cut out and placed in the inDesign file. When I export the PDF file, the images that were cut out now are more transparent (they have the white box around them) I tried to remove the clipping mask in photoshop and replace the file and I always get the same question. I also played with the predefined transparencies aplatissements and created one with the slider to the right. (best quality) and it still has this issue. If I export it as PDF1.4 it looks very good and everything is dandy until he gets to the printer and the nice white boxes. I have a light gradient behind him, so I can't add an effect of multiply images. For example, see attached. That girl in the example has been cut properly in Photoshop.

  I really apprecaite all help on this, I could throw this computer out the window soon.

  I finally have my HDV workflow down. Know the correct import, project Pro P, project again and Media Encoder of rendering parameters to use to get a nice outing.

  But could use help from some 16 X 9 (widescreen) SD source Mini-DV video from a Sony DCR-HC90.

  My ex NLE users these values are set automatically and I have not edited any of these images in CS4 Pr Pro and more.

  I know you must get X X correct parameters so that a TV big screen at this SD material is displayed correctly.

  My final product will be DD 5.1 SL or DL DVD SD, more high-quality rendering.

  So what resolution of project settings (I guess there are presets that work) should I use for:

  Capture format - I guess that DV?

  Pro PR project settings

  Rendering of Media Encoder settings

  Yet the project settings?

  With my HD workflow, I can keep my the same HDV resolution throughout the workflow. I am at a loss on the way to best quality to do with SD DV source material.

  I have to use the media encoder to make my video and audio separately since I use DD 5.1 audio so I use media encoder and links not dynamic.

  Much will depend on how you found your material PrPro in yet.

  If you export the PrPro as a 100% compatible MPEG-2 DVD, and then again should show as do not transcode.

  If you export as DV - AVI, then still have to transcode it into MPEG-2. In this case, there is a DV - AVI transcoding (uncheck resampling), but who will be minimal. Then again will transcode MPEG-2, either automatically, or you can click the transcoding settings in the project Panel to specify exact transcoding applied. If you use the ADL (Adobe Dynamic Link), there will be no export, so no transcoding PrPro, but then for the DVD release, there will be necessary, just as transcoding above - defined manually or auto.

  In regards to the big screen vs Standard, there will be flags to tell you, if she's from a file exported/imported or ADL. PrPro material, should be without issue with seeing and honoring these flags. With another material, it will depend on many factors.

  Codec can be written for 32-bit OS or 64-bit. If you install a 32-bit codec on a 64 bit system, for example, the player may not be able to play all the files in need of codec.

  Note that many older codecs are no longer available in 32-bit versions. If the codec provider does not specify whether its codec is 32-bit or 64-bit, the codec is capable of 32-bit.

  Determine what codec was used:

  a. read the file in the player.

  b. right-click on the file and then click Properties.

  c. on the file tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections.

   

  Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.

  If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.
