Hi Pierre,.

Can you connect a case request on this issue and fix your export file example?

We need to study this further as to why the characters change with regard to accents.

You can save a case within your admin-> help & support.

Thank you

  • How to export Excel dashboard reports in OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0?

    Hi Experts,

    How to export Excel dashboard reports in OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0?
    For example:
    Dashboard contains more than one report and add an export button for downloading these reports to Excel.

    Is it possible to implement this requirement? Thank you.

    There is no direct option, you can try the following workaround.

    Option-> Print-> page printable Html

    Then the file-> Save Page as

    Pharmasset Save as type as it is-> all files
    File name as Report.xls

    When you open the xls file, if you get a pop up saying problem during a load simply omit it and move forward.
    The report opens in excel.

    Or save the page as html /mht and open it with Excel, it works too.

    Note: I tested this in Mozilla

  • When I export the report to EXCEL files and filter the data, it will display incorrect data

    Hi experts,
    In OBIEE 11.1.1.6, when I export the report to EXCEL file and open this file to view all the data, it is correct.
    However, as the amount of data is so, so I add filter for each column (click on the sorting-> filter filter)
    When I select data in the filters, I'm afraid that I find the value of 'White' in the last line in the filter area, but in the table, there no null data. Why? Are you facing the same issue?
    Secondly, when I select a value, it will generate a data line.

    For example:
    2008 - Region1
    -The region.2
    -Elle3
    2009 - Region1
    -The region.2
    -Elle3

    When I select 2008 data in EXCEL, it will display unexpected data, as below:
    2008 - Region1

    Exactly... If you export to the format you will not face question of null data or incorrect when filtered.

  • hidden lines in export the report to excel

    Hello

    If there is a report with the hidden fields, the fields will be displayed when the report is exported to excel.

    Is it possible to prevent this?

    The setting in pref.txt ExportGroupSortedItemsAsBlank does not seem to be an excel report. In both cases, we have already defined as 1.

    Thank you.
    Leah

    Hi LEA
    Sorry you can not remove the export of hidden lines. The reason why they are generally there to sort and without them the data would be a mistake, so you cannot remove their export. Inside the discoverer, they are only is removed from the display, they are still used in the SQL code and will always be used in exports.

    Sorry about that

    Best wishes

  • conversion of the error of date / time when using easy excel reports

    I export a 2D array to an excel file using Excel reports easy vi. I have no problem with that. My data has a number of areas with different formats (text and date/time). My problem is the following:

    * some (in other words, not all data is in the same worksheet) the veiled values of date/time to mm/dd/yyyy format whereas they should be in mm/dd/yyyy (is the excel format it is y in!). Essentially, I have 30/09/2008 (September 30, 2008) in a cell. After ticks on Oct. 1, it will display the date as, 01/10/2008. Excel thinks that this date is in the format dd/mm/yyyy.

    This is a known error in earlier versions of Excel (2002), in particular when you convert a .csv, .xls file. The solution, it was not to add "Local: = True ' at the end of the vba command string (see here: MS Knowledge Base). Here, in LabView I'm not sure how to proceed.

    I tried to change the format of the column in question to the 'text' by calling an Excel Macro in LabView, but do you think I can find the vba command to do? No, not so much.

    LabView saves the Excel file in 97-2003 format (I use MSOffice 2007) and I wonder if the version they are using does not consider the time correction, as described in the knowledge base (or if it applies).

    Any suggestions, I'd love to hear from you.

    Kind regards

    David.

    Hi LaRisa,.

    I was able to find the cell Format Excel set vi and successfully change the format of the value of the cell. It wasn't until I had found the vi that I realized that I've been down this road before. Change the format after the table has been created does not change values dd and mm switching that has already occurred. However, if I did before I "created the table" (or vi Excel table) and set the format to be '@' then it displays the string like 'Text' in the Excel file. That's nice. I can control what cell, row, or column to format now. If I want to be in a date format then I must apply the Format of cell vi after the easy Excel table vi.

    It sounds like a stupid race around me...

  • Export of reports

    I am looking for a solution customize the export of reports. I need solution for one of the following scenarios:

    1.I have an interactive report that gives me details about certain products.
    The report also breaks from report on the category of product in column a.

    How can I download the report in CSV or Excel while preserving the format that is showing on the app.
    I mean I want that my file exported to show something like:

    Category: Furniture
    product name           id       quantity
    couch                  10        100

    Category: Utensil
    product name           id       quantity
    pots                    20        45
    But when I download it in CSV format, it shows the categories of products in a single column as a report column will examine if there is no page breaks.

    2. I have a classic report, I can do csv export. But I want a file exported to be something like this:
    Title:
    Author:

    and then the table(classic report)
    How can I add some info on top in addition to the table

    Thank you

    Hi RN,.

    You must write a procedure to export to CSV format with the possibility to put the format of what ever you want to put.

    First thing is you need to set the header in you the procedure as shown below.

    l_file_name: = 'myreport.csv ';
    owa_util.mime_header ("application/octet ', false");
    HTP.p ('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename =' | l_file_name);
    owa_util.http_header_close;
    Close c1;

    Use htp.p to write your columns of data.

    For example

    Group your query by category

    HTP.p (' category :'||) Cursor.category_value);

    HTP.p ('product name, identification, quantity');
    HTP.p (cursor.productname | ',' |) Cursor.ID | ',' | Cursor.Quantity);

    Follow these steps in a loop of cursor, and you should get the desired format.

    at the end put "htmldb_application.g_unrecoverable_error: = true;" statement to stop the page rendering.

    Explicitly create a button and call your procedure.

    The disadvantage of this procedure is that this provision will not change dynamically if the user customizes its interactive relationship with some other grouping.

    Follow the same steps with the classic report.

    I hope this helps.

  • Export Excel in DIAdem 15

    Hello

    I use 15 DIAdem and trying to export values in the data portal to a XLS (Excel) file.

    I tried to look for similar tasks a previously in this forum and found a few directions.

    (1) ExcelExport function - appears to be eliminated in the recent version of DIAdem,

    (2) extension IPM: gfsexcel (?). DLL - also absent in my files DIAdem

    (3) export TDM/CSV using instead...

    ((3) seems to be possible, from now, but it would be great if I can use Excel export directly (as 3) needs a few extra clicks..)

    In detail, I want to export values in my data portal (not much data; 1 rank & max. 20 columns) for the excel file, and it would be better if exported excel file opens automatically (I assume that this was possible with the function ExcelExport before).

    If there is no idea, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance,

    Young.

    If you want to try the CSV export, it is possible to configure it to match your local excel import.

    If it responds, it automatically loads to Excel.

    Option Explicit

    Call DataFileSave (CsvParameters ("C:\temp\out_ger.csv", "ger"), "CSV")
    Call DataFileSave (CsvParameters ("C:\temp\out_eng.csv", "eng"), "CSV")

    function CsvParameters (byval filePath, byVal lang)
    Select the lang case
    case "ger".
    "CsvParameters =""& replace (filePath," & ","&") &", JJ. "Mr. YYYY HH: mm:"
    case "eng".
    "CsvParameters =""& replace (filePath," & ","&") &". , " MM/DD/YYYY HH: mm: pp.
    other cases
    CsvParameters = filePath
    select end
    EndFunction

    Classically, there are three things that you have to adapt to the local context

    • decimal point

    • seperator

    • TimeFormat

  • excellent report generation does not close Excel

    I use the excel Report Builder to save test reports.  I can create the report using a template and writing if necessary without any problem.  After each test step, I add data and save the report.  I continue to Excel closed using the modification of the parameter of the State of the window.  I don't want the user to see Excel or even know it is there.

    The question is, when I'm done test and use features, report vi, it leaves an open excel instance that you see in the Task Manager.  And the only way to close that instance is to open one of the files that was created and close it and then exit excel.  The memory used by this instance develops a little every time that a new file is created.

    LabVIEW 2011 SP1 (32-bit 11.0.1.F2)

    Excel 2007

    How can I close excel completely after each test?

    You're just sorry.  Attached is an improved version which works, but again not sure if there is a better way.

    This will get the HWND before disposing of it, has it as usual, then given the HWND get PID (it was the bad terminal last time) and then kill based on that.  It seems to work and I tested this time.
