Transfer data from computer to 8.1 Windows Vista computer

Hello

I get a new HP with Windows 8.1.  My old count is a Vista operating system.  How is the best way to transfer my folders/files from my old computer to my new computer?  The former backup and restoration of the news using CDs?

Thanks for your help.

Phil

Hello

Go to the file/s that you want to save and select the > then right-click on them > hover over send it to the mouse cursor > select external hard drive or Memory Stick that you have connected them to save.

In the windows 8/8.1 machine > click File Explorer in the taskbar to bring it up > copy and paste your data in there.

See you soon.

How to transfer data from laptop to external hard drive?

    my model is vgn-cr323.

    Thanks in advance

Let me provide you with General information on how you can transfer data from your computer to an external drive.

To transfer the data, plug the USB cable into the correct port. Usually, your computer will know that he has a new disc attached and a pop box up will warn you. It will scan to determine what to do with the new connection and your computer will assign a drive letter (for example, drive G: and so on.) This will allow you to transfer data to the external hard drive just like you would move files on your internal hard drive.

Once you have the USB cable plugged into your computers port (and the other end plugs into the external drive) you can now start to save files you want on the external hard drive.

Open the item (s) or folder (s) you want to transfer or save on your external hard drive. There are two ways to save external hard disk 1). If you have only one or two things to save, you can open each item, click on file / record under... and choose the letter/drive (for example, drive G corresponding to that of your external hard drive, click Save.) This he recorded on the external hard drive.

Use a Thunderbolt adapter, FireWire or back up your system to an external drive and migrate to it.

    Hello

My new Droid Turbo arrives Monday. How can I transfer all of my Droid Maxx above my new Droid Turbo? Is there a simple way to do this? Thank you all!

To migrate from Motorola app should be able to help with that. It is designed to transfer data from one phone to the other. It seems simple enough to set up & use.

  • Transfer data from DoPreUUT to the main sequence

Hi all, I am working on editing a sequential model existing in NI TestStand.

In PreUUT do that I just wanted to have mu, own VI Custom which will require a path and once the path is selected, the VI will extract 2D Array of string values that I have to move my hand Sequence.I am facing a question of transfer data from table 2D-doPreUUT to mu from the main sequence.

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/NI-TestStand/pass-parameters-from-PreUUT-to-main-SEQ/m-p/2850684#

who says the best way is to use the globals file, but I'm not able to get my values transferred to my main sequence.

    Need help to solve...

    Thanks in advance

If you are adding a FileGlobal to Test DUT and expecting to access this variable in your file of the client's sequence, you will not be able to read the FileGlobal directly. You will need to use the "RunState.Root.FileGlobals" string... »

for example if you have an array of strings FileGlobals.MyDataPaths you MainSequence, you can access using RunState.Root.FileGlobals.MyDataPaths of MyDataPaths.

Remember that this will only be available when you use the process model, therefore, it would be wise to test that you run with the process template.

    Hope this helps
