transfer of information between callbacks

So I'm trying to do my a little more general sequence of current test and I came up with this problem.

I am venturing into the use of reminders that it really cleans my sequences and I do my more general sequence to take into account different products and tests at the same time.  I test devices on a plate (65 k + EHR by plate), and I was using the entry point for execution single-pass with a loop inside my test sequence to loop through all of the devices on my plate.  It's really ugly with pretty much all the information transmitted by the local variables.  After that I wrote using reminders I really see the advantage of going this way.

Here's my problem.

Because I don't want the tester to invite the operator whenever the probe station probes a device that I use a reminder that reads the information from the probe station and this information is used as the serial number HAD (actually a message saying that it is a valid and the XY coordinates &).  The convenient location for me to record this information in the file Globals however corresponds to the

NEITHER TestStand i: Introduction course manual

Lesson 9- Best practices for the development of Test

Section b. using the scope of appropriate data

Course software Version 4.0 July 2007 edition

Avoid using global variables to file for ongoing communication between the sequences.  Global variables file are appropriate for the data items that you set once in a thread unique portion of the sequence and do not set again.

So my use of a global file to store information produced during the recall of sequence pre USE clearly violates these guidelines.  In order for me to pass this information to the MainSequence recall where I will carry out the test so it seems I should use parameters instead.  So where did my question

How to use parameters to pass information between reminders of sequence?  Should I change the process template?  I hope not

Hi Chilidog,

It would be my task, I see two ways to achieve without changing the model

1.) create a local variable when running in the model entry point.
Pre DUT will create a new variable in the entry point of models in a statement using the
Runstate.Root.Locals.AsPropertyObject.NewSubProperty ("strMyVariable", PropValType_String, false, "", PropOption_DoNothingIfExists ")
then in another stage access via PropertyObject and add the new value.

Note: This also works with containers

Overall access through the property object in the same way and get the value.

2.) use a queue.

  • Transfer of information from a .sparsebundle to Bootcamp

    Hey guys,.

A few months ago, my computer is having problems, and my computer technology store decided to uninstall and reinstall my OS x and Windows partitions. Before they did, I supported the two partitions on an external hard drive. The shop reinstalled the two partitions, but for some reason some they did not transfer all the data from my old drive bootcamp back on my current partition. My external hard drive has a picture of .sparsebundle that seems to have all the data that I'm missing. How can I transfer the information from this disc image on my current bootcamp drive?

You can open the sparsebundle on OSX? If so, check out the files you need on the side OSX, switch to Windows and copy the files of the side OSX to Windows (provided that you can see the files in os x Windows system).

You should not attempt a restore from the sparsebundle to Windows for your Applications, it will cause problems.

  • Transfer of files between drives: data loss or corruption?

    1. Is there data loss or corruption during the transfer of files between disks in Windows 7?
    2. What about very large files, gigabytes in size?
    3. Is it possible to check if there is data loss or corruption?

Creation and verification of a checksum is a file operation.  It doesn't matter where the files are stored.

It doesn't matter if the source is a CD, a USB flash drive or a hard drive.  As much as the destination is concerned, if you write a large file on a CD, the possibility of error is greater if copy to a USB flash drive or an external hard drive.  Which is why you often see tips to burn at the slowest speed available when writing large critical files as an ISO installation file.

The only difference between 'copy' and 'move' is this movement copies the file and automatically deletes the original.

You want to make sure that the file copied correctly before the original has disappeared.  The way to ensure that is to perform a copy operation, check the integrity of the copied file and delete the original.

    Hi bklyn554,

Are you referring to a flash drive?

    (1) Insert your Pen Drive\Flash drive on the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port on your Windows XP computer.

    (2) to highlight the Photos (you can use CTRL + a keys to select all photos in a folder) that you want to move or copy.

  • Transfer of information from an external hard drive

Due to a fault, my computer was brought back to factory settings. I have copied the C drive on an external hard drive, but now don't know how to transfer information from email to my old computer.  Probably very simple, but hope that I have not lost all my emails, addresses, etc.  I 'searched' for Windows Mail in the external device and have a number of files, etc.  Now I'm not sure where to send them.  Any help appreciated.

    Hello

Messages, you would be open Windows Mail, then click on file/import/Messages. Guide (Browse) to the external hard drive and find this path in the old folder hierarchy:

    C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail

Where is the name of your old account. It is the default location for the store of Windows Mail.

  • Transfer of information "Pick" of MacBook

    Hi all

Thank you for taking the time to read the next issue of Lightroom:

I use LR on a MacBook for the tethered shooting on site. During the shoot I "Pick" all the images I want to rework and provide to the customer that I'm shooting.

When I return to the office, I load all the RAW files of the shoot in my storage Bay, open LR on the big computer and start editing.

What lack us is information on which images I 'took', so I have to cross and 'Choose' the files again.

What is the best way to keep this info "Pick" when moving between computers? Is there a way to get LR to integrate this into the RAW file?

    Thanks for your help,

    David

You must look in a different catalog import and also file > export as catalog.

Instead of just copying the lines, select them in Lightroom on the laptop and file > export as catalog, ensure that the negatives are checked. This creates a folder with a Lightroom Catalog and all the raw files selected.

Copy this folder on your computer in minutes and do a file > import from another catalog. This brings all your raw files and all your work (flags, virtual copies, stacking etc.) in the general catalogue.

It's also great when you need work on the road and then to bring any change in the general catalogue.

  • Cannot transfer app updated between devices.

I can no longer download updates app on my mac using itunes and then transfer these updates on my other devices. I have very limited bandwidth and cannot afford to download the same updates on two iphones, ipad and mac. Is there a solution?

After the introduction of Apple App clarified in iOS 9.2, it's no longer possible o update your applications on a device, transfer updates to iTunes, then sync our other devices with these versions. With the thinning App, versions uploaded on any given device can only be used on this device.

You must download the updates of iTunes, then sync your devices with versions of pants.

I have a version software Punch Home Design compete 17.5 on both my iMac and my Air.It saves files in my office as a .dxf file. • Transfer the information to another hard drive

    # 1 I am operating Windows xp pro and you want to add an additional hard drive. I would like to transfer all the data to the new hard drive. Is it possible to copy data from the old to the new drive without transferring the operating system? I want to format the old drive and reuse, but I don't want to lose all data.

I'm not very smart computing and would like any help I can get.

#2 I would like to install the new operating system on a partition itself, is it possible? How can I do this?

I don't have a rw drive, I have a dvd drive and a floppy drive.

I run a computer HP xw4100 with 1.5 GB of memory, Windows xp pro sp3-operating system.

    Thanks for the help.

I note you have a desktop computer and you have posted this in a forum of the laptop, but I think I can help you. Here's the Quickspecs, incidentally:

    http://h18000.www1.HP.com/products/QuickSpecs/11604_na/11604_na.html

With a desktop computer (even a workstation like yours), it is much easier than with a laptop. Just put in the new drive (I guess you understand jumpering with drives ATA/IDE and ID devices if you're dependencies a scsi disk) and format from Windows XP. Now copy the data you want to save on the new disk. You won't be able to separate programs on the new drive if that's what you had in mind. just data files. For example, you can put all your Powerpoint presentations on the new disk, but you cannot move MS Office there. It is linked in the BONE and must be reinstalled.

If you want to be sure just copy everything except the Windows folder and the Program Files folder to the new drive.

Yes, you can install all the operating system on its own partition, but be careful to choose to install the new software on another drive top and you may want to move my Documents on the second drive for example. This will keep the data and the separate operating system, which is what I assume you want to accomplish. Let us know if you need help here.

During the installation of Windows XP, you can create partitions and choose which use the partition to the OS.
