  • How can I transfer changes to Lightroom on another computer?

I made some changes on a photo on a single computer and would like to transfer these changes to the photo that exists on another computer.  How do I do that?

    Hello

You can create a preset of the change you made, and then you can install the Lightroom preset that is installed on another machine.

You can simply apply it to this image and it will work.

My workspaces are still there. I can put them all again from scratch, but it's just a pain.

I found them and their transfer.

The file is "new Doc sizes" (.psp file) - just copy, paste and restart Photoshop.

  • Export to a new computer - presets...

How to put on my lightroom presets, the watermarks, metadata, watermarks, etc. to a new computer. What are and where are they gone? THX

To find your Lightroom presets, choose the command Edition > Preferences (Lightroom > Preferences on Mac) and select the Presets tab click Show Lightroom Presets folder to your Lightroom presets folder. This folder contains the subfolders of presets for all profiles of colors through to develop Presets watermarks and the Web models that each is stored in a separate subfolder depending on its type. The predefined set folder should be relatively low, choose everything or just the presets (folder) you want and copy to the same location on the new computer

  • How can I transfer my new version of Keynote from my laptop to my iMac?

Because I bought Keynote when I got a new MacBook Pro, I now have a newer version of the software (v 5.3) on my laptop that I do on my iMac, which has the version 3.02.  It is perhaps a really basic question, but how do I transfer this new version of Keynote on my iMac?  Thank you!

Keynote 3 version only worked on non-intel Macs and the latest version of Mac OS, it is compatible is Tiger.

That's why you need an Intel Mac under Snow Leopard or newer version running version 5.3

You will need to run the Setup file of iWork 09, (it installs Keynote, Pages and numbers and all support files), there are problems when you copy simply on Keynote on its own rather than install correctly.

It will ask you a serial number for verification.

  • Cropping in Lightroom presets bug

My client wants me to crop their images to 2600 x 2000 pixels. When I try to define this relationship like Lightroom preset cropping it will not allow him. Instead it by default 8.5 x 11, which translates processed 2600 x 2009 pixel, image sizes or 2588 x 2000 pixels.

This vagueness cropping is very annoying because I have to spend time re-crop my images processed using a Photoshop action to the specifications requested my client.

This bug occurs also with many other cropping ratios if they are close (but not the same) as the existing Lightroom presets of harvest. You can solve this problem? I think it is a serious failure that Lightroom CAN create images at certain specified dimensions.

    Kind regards

Answer forum of Wo Tai Lao the star back to Adobe. It does not matter what size or resolution that I use Photoshop Document new Preset resolutions, 100px is always exactly 1 inch. But here's the real thicket...

Adobe Photoshop will create new images with resolutions of age of Pierre Atari-Nintendo if let you it fixed to this bad thing. Question so very valid, what is this 72px default to? This means Photoshop needs to make website fav icons, using a Wo Tai Lao script the era fav-icon Adobe? Are we supposed to until something less primitive if we build, say wallpapers? Where is implemented in Adobe support on the preferences of this criticism?

    What we said...

Telephone support me has said, "it does not matter." Then I shared the screen and showed how important it is to support and we were gruff said, well, "set it to what you want."

    What we like...

Kind of limit to what sells in stores today, we have to settle by primitive defect in Photoshop. It should be placed here as a reminder that the software we use is... "established". Kinda like the size of column parameters must mean London Herald and the New York Times.

    x / 300 = 100 / 72 > x = 416.666666 Pixels/inch > or just 416?

    Someone, please help me!

Adobe are largely correct that no matter how you set the screen resolution in Photoshop-except when you want to use the display 'size print'. Photoshop only cares about pixels and dots per inch review applies only when you print an image, but sometimes you don't want to see on the screen shows a picture with precision the size in inches or in centimeters and to do that you need to know the number of pixels per inch of your screen. Its not true 72 dpi is very outdated. If you are running 1920 x 1080 on a big flat screen figure will be around 80ppi (pixels/inch). It is only when the retina and other screens ultra high definition are used 72 dpi will start to look at the lowest.

There are formulas to calculate the density of the screen, but an easy way is a screen like this calculator

    http://kingscalculator.com/en/other-calculators/pixel-density-calculator

You just put to the screen size and resolution that you use and it displays a result

As you can see a pretty big screen with an ordinary resolution is not special as density of screens is concerned. Once you have this number you put in the screen resolution box in preferences

Now, when you want to see your image on the screen to size, it will print all you need to do is call the view "print size". The 81ppi parameter should not make a difference in another mode.

  • Lightroom Presets folder problem

Once the download and the installation of some settings today, they were not included in Lightroom (5) on a Windows 10 PC.

In the file Explorer that they all appear in the Lightroom Presets folder to develop where I copied it to.

But in Lightroom so I select 'Show Lightroom Presets folder' change preferences and check "Presets to store with this catalogue", then click 'Show Lightroom Presets folder', need me in the main "Photos" folder on my computer and there is no presets here, just the main folder Lightroom and 'Photos go here' more than one charge of purple icons.

If I uncheck the box 'store with this catalog presets' and then click 'Show Lightroom Presets folder', it takes me to Windows C, username - MyName - AppData - roaming - Adobe.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom, but still having the same problem.

How can I make the point "Show Lightroom Presets folder" in the folder Presets to develop, and the presets appear in Lightroom?

Copy, move them into the folder user predefined for the specific module, function, you try to add to. Then check the User Preset section in this module.

  • My brand new Lightroom missing dehaze and fill with edge panorama!

I just bought Lightroom after seeing the great way of panoramas with fill in banks to merge, and also a video on using dehaze to delete the photos.

Yet, in my brand new Lightroom there is no dehaze slider, and after doing a panorama there are modifiable no white edges and no option to fill the edges!

To make sure that I had everything working properly I just bought the full version in a store here in Denmark, because my internet is very slow and unstable should I avoid online programs

I made sure to have the latest 6.5 update, so it should work, I see videos on youtube on dehaze use, yet this slider is missing in my Lightroom new!

These new features are available with a subscription to creative cloud LR and are not available in the stand-alone version.
