I have all my emails and data (word, excel files etc.) backed up to an external hard drive.

I had my new PC and did a system restore to get all files on my new system.  I have some problems.

  • Transfer of domain name, email

If a customer has a domain name registered somewhere and an e-mail account and you are building a Web site for them you must transfer the domain to your account. Who will break the email because the MX records are reset. For example, you can rename the MX records to point to the e-mail account (I did it for some customers) and they maintain their old email completely separate accommodation from their Web hosting.

However, if a client wants to keep hosting sites Web hosting and email into the new account, you must remove the old email account. How can you do this transparently so that the customer don't miss any messages? Is it possible to create the same e-mail address in the new account so that the existence of both accounts overlap?

Dreamweaver does not mx, accommodation records or fields. Therefore, it is not a question of Dreamweaver.

  • How can I set up an automatic transfer of all incoming emails to an external email address?

While I'm away from the office, I would like to send any email to an external address. How do I in THUNDERBIRD?

You can set up a filter to forward the e-mail to the external address, but this would require that TB is running all the time. A better solution would be to have mail downloaded to an account which is accessible when you are away from the office, for example using Mail Fetcher with a Gmail account.

Of course, if the account of the office can be configured as an IMAP account, then mail is accessible from any device that the same account is set up as IMAP.

It depends on if you have the external address.

  • Transfer to Smartphones blackBerry email account

I recently moved from a Pearl 8130 with Telus Mobility to a Pearl Flip with Bell Mobility. The transfer switch and the unit went a lot, but he sent the account I had thanks to Telus ([email protected]), also. Because I'm not with Telus more, I thought that I delete it and be down with it all, but it doesn't give me an option for. I tried to make it through the old handset, online messaging, BlackBerry, new handset, etc.. I have even sold all together before forwarding the e-mail account. None of this has worked. How can I get it my phone?

Have you tried settings folder > manage Internet e-mail > e-mail accounts, and then delete. If you are unable to access this account that way then maybe you can remove the service for this account books, options > advanced options > service books > and find the books of two services for this e-mail account. Select one and click the menu button and select Delete.

  • How can I transfer photos in an email received in my photo gallery? Thank you

    See above

You must first save the images outside the message.  If you use OE, then right-click on the image and choose Save as, and then save and then you can add it once its saved as a single image out of the message itself.  If you have many images, you can do it automatically with my program OEX (www.oehelp.com/OEX/).

  • How can I transfer the emails I sent to my Outbox to a Web server for Thunderbird?

I have an e-mail account in a webserver (STRATO Communicator), and I want to transfer all my emails from Thunderbird.
I installed Thunderbird and I managed to transfer all the emails in my Inbox since the webserver to Thunderbird.
However, I don't know how I can transfer also all the emails I sent to my Outbox in the webserver (STRATO Communicator) to Thunderbird.

Can someone help me? I thank very you much in advance!

E-mail POP accounts can only access the Inbox on the server.
So if you use a Pop email account, then there is a workaround.
    In Thunderbird
Move all inbox emails in other appropriate for organizing folders.
This makes it easy to detect emails 'Outbox '.

Log on to the webmail account and move all the emails from the Inbox Outbox

then in Thunderbird use Get Messages to download your emails.
You can then move these emails to a folder suitable as "sent".

Please note that in Thunderbird, the "sent" folder guard a trace of which has been sent by you.
The "Outbox" in local folders, is the Outbox for all mail accounts in Thunderbird. It is not a place to store e-mail messages.
In Thunderbird, when you select 'Send', he sends an e-mail immediately and put the copy in the "Sent" folder However, if you use 'Send later', it puts the e-mail in the Outbox ' ' ready to go when you select "Send unsent messages", how the copies are stored in the folder "Sent" and deleted from the 'transmission '.

  • problem with outllok express with transfer and you reply to emails

When I try to transfer or respond to emails from my outlook express says its does not work, but it really is. everyone knows about this problem?

Create a new box of sent, and sent items. If still no joy, try a new identity. Display error message if no work.
    *****************************************************

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    *************************************************************************
You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

    ******************************************************************************

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck analysis when the option is the result of e-mail messages.

    Compact often as specified above.

  • Stop email to transfer device blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I wanted to be able to stop (and start) redirect email to Blackberry - specifically, I want to stop the transfer of my work emails when I'm sitting at my work PC.  It seems that the only way to do it via Desktop Manager - is there no way to do it from the Blackberry itself?  (If I leave and forget to turn it back on, then I have no recourse.)

Ah ok. So the only other way to stop him is ebb in this icon, the site Web of BIS of your operator, then go to filters of this email account. Once you're there, you can change the filter to not forward messages on the device. Remember to change it when you want to start receiving messages.

If you were on a BES there will be an option to stop it on the device itself.

  • Loss of historical emails using Windows Easy Transfer

Was previously running Windows XP with Office 2010, including Outlook 2010. Want to upgrade to Office 2013 which does not work on Windows XP so decided to upgrade to Windows 7 Home premium.  Following the instructions in Microsoft that I used Windows Easy Transfer to save all settings and data by following the instructions on an external hard drive. Has also created a copy of My Documents just to be safe. Following the instructions I installed Windows 7, reinstalled the data and settings from the Windows download file is then installed Office 2013.

All data files appear to be present and my contacts were all in Outlook 2013 however no historical emails were present. I had a lot of stored in subfolders under Inbox and sent messages and everything disappeared.

It seems strange that all contacts were copied and transferred across using Windows Easy Transfer, but not historical emails. There is no specific reference to this problem in Microsoft "upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7 instruction set.

Is it true that the files containing the e-mails were copied, but Outlook 2013 is looking for them in a different place, or does Windows Easy Transfer copy not the Inbox and sent to the files that would be a huge gap?

Windows Easy Transfer is not good to backup Outlook emails at all.

If you did a custom installation, check if the Windows.old folder to the root of the hard disk to see if your. PST file is there and copy it to your Documents folder in Windows 7.

Save the folder outlook located under:

    C:\Windows.old\Documents and Settings\Account_Name\Local Settings\Microsoft\Outlook

When you migrate to Windows 7, and then reinstall Microsoft Office, just backup copy of the contents of the folder Outlook in the following location:

    C:\Users\Account_Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\
