• How can I get my workgroup computers to communicate as they should?

  Okay, Microsoft: you have left me speechless. I have fiddled with each permission, changed every setting, disabled my firewall and configure my workgroup again from scratch, and nothing worked: I can't still gives me permission to access my computer from another of my own computers.

  All computers are in the same workgroup.

  File and printer sharing is enabled.

  All computers are connected through the same router.

  There is no password on all computers.

  1 computer is Windows 7; the rest is Windows XP.

  Windoxs XP computers all others see in detail, and I can access all the files and disks on any computer from any other computer.  Windows 7 computer can see and access to all drives and folders on all the XP computers.

  However, the XP computers can access the public folders on the Windows 7 computer. I can see, but not access, the external hard drive, where all the important files are stored - which means the new computer is basically non-functional for my purposes of home networking. I need to be able to open any file on any drive on any computer from any other computer.

  I set permissions for "Everybody", but that seems only to mean "everyone who uses the computer to Windows 7." This does not mean "everybody" with access to my home network/workgroup - that would be just me.

  Windows 7 Home Premium only inherently crippled, or is it some goofy 'innovation', which was added to Windows 7 just to make my life more difficult?

  Why not sharing in Windows 7 have the same elegance, simplicity, comprehensibility and functionality in Windows XP? The Public folder is stupid and useless for the most part, I can't even make drag a shortcut to the external hard drive in it and make it work. It is less functional that the folder "shared files" olde in XP I've ever had bothered with.

  Which setting I'm missing? What should I do to set up my Windows 7 computer so that my other computers can read all files and records?

  This has been a problem of headache inducing and terribly frustrating. Having to physically come and go between the averages of computers I had to cram another workstation in space limited in my office at home, just to have easy access to the Windows 7 computer. Networking of its own computers should be the easiest thing an end user made, not one who transforms his gray hair and she reduced to tears and nervous breakdown. • Transform function is grayed out

  I just upgraded to 2015 CC Photoshop and I can't use the 'transform' (or the 'free transform' work either) it is grayed out in the menu.  I tried quiting and reload without result.  I tried cropping a file (sometimes this was needed in CS6) but it is always grayed out.  Any ideas?

  You cannot transform a locked layer or the background. Could this be it? Try to double click on the background to unlock.

  I work in InDesign CS 5.5 and for some unknown reason, my turn again the menu options are grayed out on (grayed out). It is ALWAYS and EVER the case. It doesn't matter what it is I'm trying to apply the transform again command. I've tried everything, even delete/reset my preferences and still no resolution. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be the problem?

  It seems to me that you are doing things correctly and orders should be available.

  To verify that you really replace the completely next prefs. There are two files involved directions and complete to replace your preferences

  OK just an update on this. I think that the response of Conroy may be technically correct, but it seemed to solve my problem by converting just a layer to a smart object. I can't have my problem very well described initially. In summary:

  Resizing a layer (making the smaller) with a style of using the free transform tool created drop shadow effect a grey outline around my image / object.

  Convert layer to smart object and then using the transform tool solved this problem.

  Hi, I couldn't really explain my question in the title. I'm doing the red and gray of the truck the same color of green parties. I used the color range to change red to green as seen on the second picture, but I can't get the same results for the grey part. I also tried to change the color blending mode, but I can't get the same shade of green than the rest. Is it possible to paint this whole truck of the same color? Sorry if this isn't the good community post in. I'm new here.

  

  

  As you found, the challenge is to get the color to match everything keeping reflections.

  Create a layer in your green car twice.
  Add a mask to reveal only the gray area (doesn't work on the black edges or door handles)

  Example Green a brush color on the new layer.
  Drop the opacity of the new layer to 80% - this will reveal the thoughts

  Set the blending options to mix if that underlie the upper layer on 105 - this will reveal details of black (handles, etc.)

  Add a layer of tint and saturation - cut on the new layer and use the saturation and lightness to match green.

• Transformation of the query in gray Editor

  Why are the x scale and options are grayed out on the query editor? I tried to change the width and height (W & H) in the "Properties" Panel under "position and size" and everything is to move the position of my object diagonally for a reason, not to scale size. Also, when I do this, many width does not change, but the x and y position numbers above it changes. Strange!

  Property keyframes are represented by diamonds in the timeline, or places in graphics, correct.  What I was referring to them adapted by dragging them into the graphics.   I'm moving from Outlook 2007 to Thunderbird. All is well until now, but I need to import my old mails from Outlook. When I go to tools > import > Mail I get options for Eudora, Outlook, and Outlook Express. Eudora and Outlook options are grayed out. The option for Outlook Express is available, but who isn't even an option for me, since I am on Windows 7.

  I've read a few articles, and they point out that you must always have Outlook installed and configured as the default e-mail client. I made sure Outlook is set as the default mail client, but the import option is still grayed out. I tried restarting both Outlook and Thunderbird. I also tried the import with Outlook open and closed.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  This can help:

  Reboot safe mode (it is a slow process):

  -stop of the mac

  -Start up the mac in shift, press and hold until you see appear it to progress bar, so you can let go

  -When everything started, connect

  -Once connected, stop the mac once again, nothing else is necessary.

  -restart normally.

  I updated Adobe food RAW using Lightroom, under Toekomstige the new tour option automatically and displays the magnifying glass to help out.

  When you use the same functionality in Photoshop CC to select the magnifying glass is grayed out and I can't select it.

  According to me, you need the processor use chart checked in the preferences of Camera Raw for the vertical microscope guided work.

  Unfortunately, my GPU is unable to be enabled in Lightroom or Camera Raw.

  The GPU must be activated in the Camera Raw preferences in order to transform scrutiny work.  I disabled the GPU in my version of Windows 10, and the Magnifier check box is gray.  Went repeatedly back and forth to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything.

  I have a group of forms created by a Committee. At the bottom of each is a footer with text and a link to our Web site. (The link must remain in the footer).

  hen forms converted to PDF, the footer became an artifact, which is fine. The link, however, became an annotation.

  Run the accessibility checker Adobe shows all these links in footers as inaccessible links.  I tried to find a way to identify and transform these artifacts links does not.  If I go through the content panel, highlight, then select Options, create artifacts is grayed out and is not available.

  If I go through the Panel tags and add them to the structure of the tree, there is no way to change them then to an artifact.

  Can anyone provide info on how to do this?

  I ran into this same problem. Sorry to say that I have found no good solution. Not-so-good solutions include:

  • Convince the Commission not use links by repeating the headers or footers
  • Live with the error
  • Add link annotation to the structure of the tag, but hide under a Span tag with a space in the form of actual text character (works, but seems really kludgey)

• Text disappears, when to perform a free transform

  I have Flash Professional CC build 14.1.0.96 and I am trying to do a free transform on text; However when I do this, the text disappears.

  2) dynamic text option is the only option I choose, but 'embed my police' is also greyed out.

  I was using a html5 doc, and you cannot use static text with html5!

• Why is there the lag when the controls of the transformation of an image are changed

  I have not noticed this until the course of the latest updates.   When I manipulate the anchor point, position or scale an image using the sliders to entry in Control Panel under Motion effects image redrawn in the timeline is behind the entrance to the value of the slider with the mouse.   So when I click and drag the x value of the position property of the image does not seem to move at the same speed that the value is changed by the mouse.    It feels like the image try constantly catching up to the value being edited.    It makes it quite difficult to use visually control transform simple handling.

  My best guess is that the most recent update uses the GPU to redraw the images in a way that causes redraw poor and problems behind.   Unfortunately I found the user interface of many Adobe products becoming more and more difficult to use because of problems of refreshment and buggy redrawing issues.

  Can I solve this problem of lag when you change the values for transform a sequence or an image in the Panel effects/movement in some way?

  As I discovered under file > Project Settings > General in the rendering engine: only the Mercury playback engine software and was gray.    I had to update the Nvidia Quadro 5000 drivers version 340.84 to market the MPE GPU accelerated rendering engine.  This solved the problem of lag in refreshment for the images I use on the timeline.

  * I found it strange the GPU of MPE VAC. become disabled without warning until an update of my pilots was completed.
