• IMovie 10.1.2 Transition issues

  Just to let you know, I have an OS X El Capitan MacBook Air 2013 13 inch 10.11.6. My iMovie is version 10.1.2. I was recently working on a slide show with a fairly large amount of open applications. My fan has worked very hard to cool the system, and finally the slideshow became lag. My problem is that the shift has also caused a strange effect where I am unable to drag in transition effects. Rather than insert the transition, iMovie keeps the thumbnail still of the transition. How can I fix it? Any help is appreciated!

  It seems that your processor is unable to follow.  I first iMovie then re-open it, preferably with fewer other active applications and you can see that everything is OK again.  It may be too much background things iMovie past that will make them less sensitive.  The solution is just to wait for 10 minutes about before continuing with the installation.

  Hello. I have problems with imovie to create a transition, it changes again in 0.2 seconds. I tried dragging it to the left and another side made drag too - unfortunately nothing helped. (also exit the program several times didn't help!) Help, please!

  Double click on the transition.  A duration box appears where you can enter the duration.

  In iMovie/preferences, you can set the default duration for transitions.

• Transition issues when rendering SOUL CC 2014?

  I have a project of first Pro CC 2014.  It uses transitions on still clips and everything looks good in the preview window, but when I send to SOUL mixes changes somehow, and the images seem to pop on or off and sometimes darken on the previous image in strange ways.  I went to help the Mercury software engine in both applications.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

  In Premiere Pro, choose sequence > sequence settings > deselect the Composite linear color option

• Drops of wireless network connection - windows Vista Restart problem

  Recently installed Windows Vista on a new version of a recovered old PC as well as a few new purchases (memory, DVD player, NAS). Everything in place and works very well, but I'm faced with a problem of wireless network. The system works well: internet etc, but will drop the connection to the router wireless without apparent reason, he is followed by repeated reconnection automatic attempts when he will restore a decent connection for a minute or so and then drop again. This continues ad nauseam. The bulk of what a Windows restart will completely solve the problem for an hour or two until it is started.

  The research of the forums etc, I tried so far:
  -Switching of wireless channels
  -Deletion of "turbo" on the router
  -Disable IPv6
  -Checked drivers are updated
  -Check the firmware of the router

  I'm also reasonably sure of the following:
  -There is no interference (I put 'new' PC exactly in the same place as my old and uses exactly the same network card and router)
  -The work of the (PCI) wireless card (available connections always show the router as well as others in the region when connecting).
  -The router does not appear these problems with my PS3

  My details:
  -Windows Vista Home Premim - fully updated
  -Windows Firewall is the only firewall running
  Belkin router - G and complementary wireless card (a good old now a few years but run perfectly in XP)
  -P4HT 3 GHz, 2 GB system
  -Very little software installed to date (software the only thing I can think of Buffalo NAS relevent)

  Anyone with a similar experience? It's driving me crazy!

  Thank you for posting.  Transitional issues are most frustrating to resolve.  I think that this problem is with your wireless card.  If your PS3 and other devices are not the problems to give up the connection to your router this supports the hypothesis that the problem is in your wireless NIC.  We have seen that many times on this forum and I personally had the same problem with a wireless card.  The symptoms are identical, will connect for awhile, and then abandons the connection while still showing a strong wireless signal.  You can reconnect manually for a few minutes, and then the connection drops again.  Restart Windows seems to fix the problem than to have the connection after a variable duration.  Unfortunately, the only step in troubleshooting to verify this is to replace the wireless NIC card to test if the connection will be held with the new card.  Since you admit that the map is several years old that increases the likelihood of this being a transient failure on the NETWORK card wireless itself.

• Issue of video Transition PRE9

  Hi all

  I use PRE9 V9.01

  I try to add one of the transitions video clips.  None of the transitions do not work properly.  For example on transitions 3D very basic, I see a transition between plans, but it is transitional to the OLD clip to the NEW CLIP bad.  The OLD clip is the image of the transition and at the end of the NEW clip appears just in rather than begin the transition with the NEW CLIP and slow down the transition out of the OLD CHARGER.

  I tried numerous revisions before and after the Cup did not have another.  I moved the transition start at the Center and the same thing.

  Any ideas?

  But we could be dealing with another two question however.

  rinkrat, have these two different clips - or you slice right through a clip and put a transition on the edge? If the latter is what you've done, your transition will not work just because, well, you're basically transition from one clip to itself. And that's kind of what the screen caps look like you do.

  1. whenever I run my project that is always the upper left of the page in firefox and IE. I want to top centered.

  When I look at tutorials online their project is automatically high centered. How I not get that?

  2. When do the transitions I want some pictures next to the right of the page, so it is no longer visible. When I run it, it is out of the page, but he's now sitting in the background.   Your problem is how you made the transition to the group, the group must be the control if it exists in a State, but not the other, which is in the group is not serious. I've adjusted your code a bit so that your transitions are now operational.

• Reading/Transition FLV issues

  What I want to do: have a large FLV (400 x 300) to play on each slide, with smooth transitions and graceful video endings. I also need the video to be omitted, pausable, searchable, and synchronized with the slide.
  
  What are the problems:
  
  -The individual clips either do a quick jump or loop at the end sometimes use frames go a good few seconds back, before finishing.
  
  -Intermittent videos won't load do not at all (slides still works), they come back when you're jogging the presentation by clicking back a slide and transfer again... usually.
  
  -Select 'play for the duration of the video' (which would be ideal) purely and simply does not work. I get a number of errors, including a jump of terrible, without taking into account synchronization with slide and other strange problems.
  
  -Tell the video to display for a "Set amount of Time," works intermittently, but requires us to add seconds of film black on the end of each video and then diminishing the displayed down time a little, a notch effectively video (however is not completely resolved the problem. we always get loops, but they seem to be smaller and less frequent)
  
  Process that I use: length FLV from 10 seconds to 5 minutes long, no transition/fade on slide or video, FLV files is returned with the Sorenson H.263 Codec, with videos of stop at the end (not to go back to the first image), audio 44100khz and 30 frames per second. Keyframes set on "automatic".
  
  What I had to do for insertion is to put video, choose the period of time defined (based on the length of the file, rounded upwards or downwards, is not serious it is correct), then set the length of the slide for one or two seconds longer than the length of the file.
  
  I publish as Flash 7, project of 30 frames per second, display in IE, Firefox and Opera (with best results coming from IE, Firefox is worse overall) and test on several different computers (all play the files locally on their computer, not to call direct to a website)
  
  Any help would be appreciated.

  The thing is, unless Adobe has just released a new version of Captivate, support does not usually monitor these forums. They are in large part to the users. Although a rather unofficial Adobe Community Expert banner appears next to my name, I'm not an employee of Adobe. I'm simply recognized by often offering useful tips here.

  As you don't seem that they receive offers of assistance here in the forums, I'm guessing that your situation is perhaps unique or just simply there are not many people seeing the post with sufficient expertise to provide support. I suggest that you contact the Support from Adobe to see what they have to offer.

  Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I know have a problem with the export of photo slideshows for OS X, it's not what you expect. From what you said in your other thread and troubleshooting already suggested, I would recommend testing in a new user on your Mac, as this can determine if unexpected behavior is related to the file by the user or by setting trying to reproduce the problem to another user account. This process includes creating a new user account, connect to it and test for the issue.

  You can also try to export the slideshow in different definition (480 p, 720 p or 1080 p) and see if that makes a difference with this question:

• Photos - slide show transitions becomes jerks after export

  The slideshow transitions become jerks after export to iTunes.  Sliding panels, classic, etc. normally play in the Photo Slideshow app, but become "sticky" or "jerky" following export.

  I don't remember this problem with iPhoto or earlier versions of IOS - even when the films were anchored.  Is this a known issue?

  How can this be repaired?

  What is the size of the slide show (# of slides) and what theme are you using?

  What size export the slide show as?

  How much space you have on your startup disk?

• Overheating, endangered transition effects!

  I use iPhone SE (64 GB). I just love the size and the design of the phone. I thank Apple for that.

  But I am facing some problems.

  The phone overheating all playing games like Mortal Kombat X or Modern Combat 5. It becomes impossible to play after 5-10 minutes. But the games not requiring high graphics, work without overheating.

  The second issue is the disappearance of the effects of the transition. It happens once or twice a day and requires a restart to fix it temporarily.

  I saw discussions on the two points in this community. They accuse iOS 9.3.1. So I'm a little worried.

  I'm a first time of iOS user. I had my time with Android and Windows. I have no plan to return to them ever. So, please don't push me like that.

  The phone should never get so hot that it is uncomfortable take my advice

  1. hold off on games of high intensity until there is an iOS update

  2. make a complete restoration - just load the game without any other content and see if the problem resolves

  3. Please make an appointment of genius at an Apple Store, or select another authorized service provider.
