  I recently updated my ReadyNAS to 6.2.5 firmware 1.04 and the network > links page does not appear any ethernet cards. I recycled the box several times but still no information of the card.   In the Device Manager under imaging devices I've seen "Webcam" - before the botched fw update, it said 'Microsoft LifeCam Studio' and was a diff driver.  I rolled back the driver (or if it does not work you can force it to use one of the program files \ lifecam) then reinstalled lifecam - my cam works now.  Now - what's the problem with this update utility and why it changes what is driving the camera uses?

  the update of the firmware is not really necessary. You can uninstall it in Add Remove programs. If you need to perform a firmware update just come here. at the top of the Board of Directors is a message from stickied with manual update instructions. very easy to do and won't give you the grief of the updater.

  Before you begin to uninstall or reinstall some Toshiba firmware, I would like to know what Satellite L550D-xxx you exactly.

  The point is that different L550D models were equipped with a different wireless network cards.
  Not quite sure if your have a Realtek Wlan card. It looks like a Realtek LAN card.

  However, you must first check if the wireless network card is recognized correctly in the Device Manager.
  In the Manager of peripheral devices, network cards, you should see LAN and WLan card.
  In the case where the card WLan display correctly (no yellow exclamation) WLan driver installation is not necessary.

  In this case, you should go to the next step: check if you can enable / disable the wireless network adapter using the FN + F8 key combination.
  Where this is not possible, check if other keys FN function.
  Where other keys FN don t work, you must reinstall the software mentioned (Toshiba Value Package added, Flash cards).

  I was usin netflix on my Sony BDP-S390 fine for the last six months.

  And now all of a sudden it stopped working. Yesterday. I tried to reset the player, clear the netfilx app, update the firmware. And nothing seems to work. I even found a message on this forum for to change you ip address on the player for a higher last number. (Still wondering what this could do), but that no longer works.

  So, what can I do? Any ideas? Other applications of the internet on the player work fine except netflix.
