  Hello - I would like to mix colors in Flash using transparency to create something like this (no interactivity needed):
  
  If I create video clips of Cyan, Magenta and yellow and change Alpha transparency, obviously the entire color becomes lighter (and colors in layers merge well). Is there a simple way to do this, preferably use transparency, although I am prepared to accept that this is not possible. I tried to use masks, but I may be overloading the things and I am unable to get my head around what it takes. I found a movie showing it can be done.

  Hello, you can do this by using the mode of fusion in Flash 8. If you create video clips of 3 items then apply a mixture of multiply each, you will get what you are looking for. See my example here.

• I can't customize my window color and appearance to change the transparency and color of the window.

  Tuesday night I had to re-charge/reinstall Windows Vista because I had some problems with the worms and Trojans. After that I have re-installed Windows, I was able to customize my resolution and my window color and appearance. Once I installed all the 106 updates of Windows, I was finally able to change my resolution but I still not able to change my window color and appearance. Before I reloaded Windows I could change the transparency of the windows and taskbar and the tone of the colors, etc., but now all I can choose themes default and such of older versions of Windows. I was told that after I downloaded and installed all the updates, I'd be able to do, but I'm still not able to do. Is there a reason why and is there a any solution for this? Drivers? Material? Thank you. :) I hope this has been detailed enough.

  In the services dialog box, double-click the themes service. On the Recovery tab, set the first and second failure of the drop-down lists "restart the service". • File format: transparency and color data separately reading

  I have a problem of reading data through my plugin file format.

  I can read the different layers in the format in color Lab (8-bit) mode.

  There is a transparency mask of the layer (1 byte for each pixel), which is stored just before the image data in the file.

  Currently, I have tried 2 approaches:

  1.

  -TransparencyPlane set of 3

  -LoPlane set, hiPlane to 3

  -ColBytes set 1

  -Value rowBytes to the width of the image

  -Set the data in a buffer with the size of the width of the image

  -read the line of the transparency mask

  -> advanceState gives error (-30500)

  2.

  -transparency mask read in its entirety (I know, bad idea)

  -TransparencyPlane set of 3

  -Set loPlane = 0, hiPlane = 3

  -ColBytes set of 4

  -The value rowBytes image width * 4

  -Set the data in a buffer with the size of the image width * 4

  -read line in a temp file. buffer

  -copy of temp values. buffer and the transparency of each pixel in the data buffer

  -> advanceState ok but not correct image ks in PS

  I think there must be another, better way to apply the transparency mask.

  I forgot to say PS the exact number of planes in the readStart selector.

  I have a background image of texture on my container, inside my contrainer I have a div that I colored black background. Is there a way to change the transparency to the black background settings if the texture of my container will show trhrough?

• Transparent background gif leaving no transparency and little dots

  I am a newbie and has successfully done once and decided on a new logo and did the same thing and now it does not work.  I am running vista, created a logo in a Gif file and edited in paint.  Then I open it in PS, use the background Eraser registered for the web, made sure it was even the gif.  ploaded it to my Web site and bam, it shows a white rectangle with a bunch of dots.  I tried with the eyedropper tool, thereby ensuring that the background was transparent color and without success.  I got my site up and running and has decided to do, and now you don't even know that your facility site because I don't have a logo to the top.

  However, I left a page up to see what he does.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at end of the last week and a half.

  Try this:

  Remember what background you use on your website.

  -Open your GIF image in Photoshop

  -File---> save for Web & devices (this opens the possibility to optimize the files for the web)

  -Top left of new screen click "2up" (shows you the original and a version optimized in a split screen)

  -Top right of new screen scroll to the types of files and Select GIF (others are PNG-8, JPEG, WBMP, PNG-24)

  -Just below the selection GIF, click the arrow of the "Matte" button, it opens a menu, choose your color of original background (if white, blue etc..)

  - Transparency of box (optional)

  -Click Save at the bottom. Select the destination. Fact!

  I hope that answers your question. You will have to do with your png images as I think.

  Note also that you can reduce the size of the image (and quality) in the upper right by reducing the colors.

  P.S. (usually transparent and sRGB are selected)

  Unfortunately for the default color has no good reference. For the text, but it is black (most lower-left), the background is white (color above left). Unvisited links is blue (column 8, line 5) and the visited link is purple (column 9, line 5).

• FireFox has gone completely transparent and nothing works

  Hello yAxOr, can you try to start firefox in safe mode by pressing the SHIFT key during startup of this and see if the problem occurs there too? Maybe a theme or hardware acceleration intrudes here...

  If safe mode does not work, you can try to disable hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > general and or disable addons that could cause the problem. It would also be interesting what graphics hardware (description of the adapter, driver date and version of the driver) you use - you can access this information in firefox > help > correct information to the bottom of this page...   Launch the E-mail application then go to the Mail menu bar and click on help > Mail help and then type "police" in the search field upper right of the Help window, and then results: Preferences for fonts and colors in the mail.

  You must see this...

  It is a new one on me. I installed the printer with a barrette SIMM Postscript so it would work even at all under Vista and now it prints well but insists on the fact that I have all re - print he has never seen a reason any whenever I turn the printer to print something again.

• Restoration of style and colors of the Windows XP taskbar

  I've been customize my desktop and changed the main Windows task bar somehow.  I guess I chose the classic theme.

  I immediately chose the XP theme again, but the taskbar are now the boxy style, monotone of the classic theme and I can't do anything to change the color.

  Does anyone know if or how you can recover the XP style and color taskbar?   Thank you.
