Transparency grid

I try to get a gray and white checkerboard to indicate a transparent background. I go to Edition > > Preferences > > transparency & range and together the grid size, the colors of the grid to the gray and white, and then click OK... but the work plan is charcoal gray yet. It's been some time since I worked in PS, but I thought it was a simple fix. What Miss me?

Here are my parameters of transparency:

You must also have your GPU on the advance tab settings for anything other than Basic:

When I use the menu command view > show transparency grid it looks like a lag effect is applied to all paths, of the text.

It gives me a wrong view of my document. Very frustrating.

That's what I see when I toggle to display the grid transparency:

    fNqXkJe.gif

I discovered today that the inaccurate 'path of lag' effect happens only when using file > preview GPU.

Study further, I finally noticed the new options of Preferences > experimental features. The one called 'enhance fine lines' is the culprit. Turn it off and the problem continues.

Is this a bug or expected behaviour? Whatever it is, I find the effect harmful and not helpful. I'm leaving this option in the future.

Your AE is updated? How about your GPU drivers? Clear you the disk cache? He has had problems with ghosting reported in previous versions of AE. Without more information, that's all I can tell you.

  • Outdoor stage as a transparent grid display

So when I opened a file that is to say: 100px x 100px, generally the PS window would be grey except a white square of 100pxX100px, which is, of course, the scene. However, now instead of the gray outer region (whatever that is called), is to show as if it were transparent. When I drag the doc window to resize it, the scene is "duplicated" randomly while the transparent outer region continues to grow. I've attached a screen for help. The white block below is the scene. The rest is inaccessible. Also, if I use the text tool, the screen flickers in his reciprocal with each keystroke. Anyone have any idea on this? I would be grateful the help!

  • When you use a work plan in Photoshop, how show the grid transparent instead of white?

Before displaying a layer as a PhotoShop Artboard, I could see the grid transparency like this:

When the same layer is displayed in an Artboard PhotoShop I get a white background instead of transparency grid:

Is it possible to display the transparency grid in work plans?

  • Change the color of canvas? NOT the grid transparency hacks.

How can I change the color of the canvas to custom?

I don't want to use the transparency hacks, I want to custom change the color of the canvas so that it matches my other works.

BTW, who forgot to implement the use of colors illustrators in the characteristic of transparency grid, leaving using the selectors of color of the user interface of Mac OS X is an odd choice.

    You can not.

The transparency grid or draw a filled box on one color layer and lock it.

It is not a "Web", it's a work plan which has basically no color.

  • Background grid appearing on an Adobe PDF Word.doc file...?

  • How to display the grid lines? -Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

    Help!

Please can someone guide me through the display of the grid lines on a PDF using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

I recently installed this program and am aware that there is a way to overlay a grid on the documents, but can't seem to access this feature?

Please see screen capture below where I think I should be able to access to this: view > Show/Hide > rules & grills > grid?

For now, I see that thicknesses.

NOTE: I am not referring to the transparency grid - I need the overlay of the grid, to help measure the elements of the document (from a design perspective).

    Thank you

It is available in Adobe Acrobat format, not Acrobat Reader.

  • How to export a transparent background as a PNG sequence

I am currently working on a project of special effects editing and I want to remove the black background behind it. I used the screen blending mode to remove the black background and then exported as a PNG sequence (I need in this format), taking care to tick the box of alpha layers before you export. However, when I look at the rendered result, the images still have a black background. Can't export as a PNG with transparency? If there is a box for allowing alpha channels then shouldn't I power? I'm doing something wrong?

    Hello

To my knowledge, you can't knock out black with a screen blend mode unless you are compositing it on another element. If you need information on what is generally referred to as "Unmult,' (black unmultiplying to be used for a visual effect) you can read this excellent article from Rich Young on PVC: 'Unmult" with and without plug-ins special by Rich Young - ProVideo Coalition

In the future, I recommend that you check to see if you create an alpha channel. Check it out by switching on the transparency grid in the program monitor. You can also put the Composite Alpha to check the alpha before export. See screenshots.

    Thank you

  • How to export a transparent EPS?

I have a logo that I am combining with other elements in Illustrator. The logo must be transparent. It shows as transparent in Photoshop and Illustrator (under "see the transparency grid"). But when I export an EPS puts a white back box all about the logo. I followed the advice of other issues here but can not get this to work.

It depends on what you mean by transparency.

Transparency = blend modes, opacity of the levels other than 0% / 100% -, EPS would never support it.

Transparency = drawings that are not 100% fill the rectangle - Yes quite possible. Warning: PostScript interpreters support this, but EPS previews most aren't. Some applications show the preview the full rectangle, others may assume white = transparent. Do not trust the preview.

If you can export this kind of transparency to an application and use another application is a completely separate issue, but it works if the apps let and print PostScript is used.

Caution: transparent cuts by mask pixels are a PostScript 3 construction (transparent cuts by a clipping path are universal). If you do not have a printer of level 3, cutsouts by the mask of pixels will be lost, giving a full rectangle.

  • BRIGHTNESS: transparency and accelerate the departure of the fragments to end

I have a simple glow effect, but I want to maintain transparency when

I export this clip to the body so this effect is then on a different level.

at this time the background is black.  Can I just turn on 'the transparency grid?

Also the last pieces do not leave the area of the image rather quickly.  How can I speed up this part?

In fact I would the explosion to start more slowly, then accelerates the end to get rid of the fragments.

OK I see variance mass will do.

"Gravity", I added the pieces still fall through the frame, but he got rid of them more quickly.

Rather, they come out of the frame, as if there is no gravity.

Can I just turn on 'the transparency grid?

    Laughing out loud

You will need to return to a format and a taking codec supported transparency. For example, go to QuickTime with the PNG codec and be sure that you set your render settings to be RGB + Alpha

  • Fading to transparent instead of black all of a sudden.

    Hello

Too bad etc alpha channels and exporting to plunging black to black to export.

In my clips on the main timeline viewer, when I have the opacity seized to falter, instead of fade to black as it always does (if there no cutting in order sup), it fades to transparent. For the life of me I can't figure out what I did to make this change.

    Probably something very simple.

    Thanks for your help.
