  Running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 all updates applied.

  Today, I got a notice from HP Support Assistant, that there was an update of firmware for my all-in-one HP Deskjet 3520 printer. I went to download and install the firmware that first downloaded and installed the HP download and install the wizard. Does OK no problem yet.

  The HP download and install the wizard then downloaded the firmware update and installed on my printer. The installed firmware version has been STP1FN1351AR. I know it's done installation for my printer has printed a page of the printer hardware information and now returned to sleep. However the HP download and install Assisitant still works. He says that's it 100% but he also says to install next to the progress bar. There is another open window called "HP Device Update" which has a progress bar that keeps to be full and then starts all over again, he seems to be in an endless loop.

  I'll close these two windows but he thinks someone from HP should know what is happening with their program to download and install the wizard.

  Well well for almost a year that I posted this and no HP never contacted me for more information. I now use windows 10 then is no longer a problem.

  In your favorite image editor, create a small (2px 2px) image and adjust the opacity to the desired amount. Save this image in PNG 24-bit with saves alpha transparency format. Put theis image in the images in your site folder.

  How this code works:

  We have created a semi-transparent PNG and we use the attribute of image background CSS can to show the selected class, called "transparentTable".   Try the following.

  Download the AMD HD graphical installer on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

  One when you're done, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of the AMD graphics card and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.

  When this is finished, stop the laptop.

  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Start Notepad and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

  Nevermind, I saw in the device manager that the firmaware somehow wantedanother restart to complete the update of the firmware. Very strange, because it seems to complete the first time and the live update did not show anything in the waiting.

  Tuesday night I had to re-charge/reinstall Windows Vista because I had some problems with the worms and Trojans. After that I have re-installed Windows, I was able to customize my resolution and my window color and appearance. Once I installed all the 106 updates of Windows, I was finally able to change my resolution but I still not able to change my window color and appearance. Before I reloaded Windows I could change the transparency of the windows and taskbar and the tone of the colors, etc., but now all I can choose themes default and such of older versions of Windows. I was told that after I downloaded and installed all the updates, I'd be able to do, but I'm still not able to do. Is there a reason why and is there a any solution for this? Drivers? Material?   In the services dialog box, double-click the themes service. On the Recovery tab, set the first and second failure of the drop-down lists "restart the service". If she is still unable to start/restart, open the event viewer for Windows Logs\System and locate the failure event. Post back with the information found here.   In Windows Vista Windows Picture and Fax Viewer has been replaced by the Windows Photo Gallery and there was an option to set the brightness, contrast, etc by using the Fix as you said.

  Unfortunately, this option is not available with the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 7.

  8.1 is a beta and has a lot OF known issues under development and lot of unknown problems that have not yet been discovered.  It should be downloaded only by those who are comfortable, dealing with the problems of a trial version of the software.

  Lost the brightness controls and volume: do you need a driver. Your computer manufacturer may not have built their hardware drivers for Windows 8.1 control again.  They are not forced to do it to the beta-test system, so "use at your own risk.

  "Unable to download Norton".  What is the error you get?  Is this a problem with the download from the Norton site, or the installation process it?

  "Adobe Flash does not work".  Yes it does, it is integrated and you don't need to install it.  Just go to any Web site that uses flash and it will take care of itself.

  "Toshiba and Microsoft Point fingers"  Toshiba is not necessary to press the test system for windows 8.1, and Microsoft provides no support for the test software.  That is why they you warned that the 8.1 has many known and unknown problems and warned against install unless you like to manipulate and test out these problems.

  Looks like you need back to Windows 8 and wait for the final version.

  You're covers a part of the information on the screenshot file, but I think that you are in 32-bit mode. These features do not work with it. Switch to 16 or 8-bit.

• Can't seem to isolate my image and make the background transparent?

  That's what my photoshop page looks like at the moment. I want to do all the white space transparent. I tried to click on the magic wand on the white space and then tool by clicking on the tool Magic Eraser the space selected but nothing happens.   Eliminating the white box can be done with precision using the mixture control if the Style layer.

  1. open the file and if the layer is locked, trash the lock.

  2 Cmd + click on the new icon layer in the layers panel to apply a layer below the image.

  3. return to the upper layer and double-click it in the layers panel to bring up the layer Style.

  4. in the section mixture if at the bottom of layer Style, move the slider of the gray-scale top of page from right to left until the white area becomes transparent. It is a very small movement.

  5 layer > merge down and save the psd file.

• Transparency of the color and not the absence of objects

  I have a chart w / a lot of complex shapes and colored objects that has a black background to be used on the web.

  For complex shapes, I created the black objects as a way to hide the coloured objects.

  I have the black color to be transparent, leaving only the result of colorful objects.

  When I "save for Web" w / PNG-24, I 'Transparency' and 'Art Optimized"selected (as suggested in other posts).

  Taking the Photoshop file, flatten the image and remove the black does not produce a sharp image.

  What I guessed, try something like this.

  Build your masks from the bottom to the top.

  In the example below, first make a mask of the oval and all the layers underneath.

  Then make a mask of the triangle and all the layers underneath (which contain the previous hidden items).

  

• How to change the color of a scanned document writing and make the background transparent

  I'm a newbie using Photoshop elements 11 and tempting - without success so far - to edit a document, I have scanned so I can upload it to a custom fabric printing service. I already scanned a handwritten recipe in color .tif format (which seems black and white, because the original is written black on white background). I also resized the image of 14 "x 23". I need help is:

  1. I want to change the color from black to red writing (specifically in the hexadecimal code cd0303).

  "2. I also want to add a border of 2" wide solid color in the same red around the 14"x 23" the recipe image (so the final image will be 18 "x 27".

  3. I want to make the background transparent instead of white recipe and to make sure that the background remains transparent when I download the final image to .png format printing service so that only the red writing and the border will be printed on the fabric.

  I would appreciate directions to do these things. For reasons I don't understand, when I created a file empty and set the color of the background transparent, then tried to make the changes I want, somewhere along the way the background changes to black.

  Try this:

  1. Open your scanned document and do not forget that there is good contrast. The native scan may need help.
  2. Duplicate the background layer, then turn off the visibility of the background layer by clicking on the "eye" icon. Work on the background copy layer
  3. Download the magic wand out of the toolbox tool, tolerance set at 32 (may have to experiment with this value), uncheck the "contiguous"... Left-click on a substantive area white. Press DELETE on the keyboard. Press CTRL + D to get rid of the dotted moving line.
  4. Set your foreground on cd0303 color chip
  5. CTRL + left click on the thumbnail of the layer with the writing, then edit > fill selection > foreground color
  6. Press CTRL + D
  7. Go to Select >, then change stroke (outline) selection. Race position inside, fixed width of race based on
  8. Remove the background layer, and then save to the file format which preserves transparency.
