  It seems that your school always uses the old version of Muse. You can request their update of Muse, through Muse-> help-> updates menu

  It would seem that your original DVD came without Service Pack 1.

  Over time, you installed SP1 that makes the operating system newer than the one on the DVD.

  Uninstall SP1 > do the installation of upgrade repair > reinstall SP1.

  We have a copy of LV2013 and several copies of a LV2011 running. A project of LV originally written in LV 2011 was opened by the LV2013 and then saved in LV2013. Now when LV 2011 tries to open the project, there are very few errors loading.

  As it appears on the pop-up error;

  "LabVIEW: file version is later than the latest version of LabVIEW.".

  An error occurred loading VI ' Series.lvlib: Close .vi 178XB BK precision.

  "LabVIEW support 9 error code: version of VI (13.0) is newer than the version of LabVIEW (11.0).

  Currently, the LV2011 to LV2013 update is not an option. Then there is other ways to solve this problem?

  Open the project (or the toplevel VI) in 2013 and go to "file... except for the previous version. Selection 2011.

  I just reinstalled windows XP and done all the updates. I then reinstalled hyperbowl 3d and it will not open up. Now it used to be that if you ran the update:

  It would solve this problem (see http://hyperbowl3d.com/oldsupport.html).

  I downloaded the update, and it says:

  "Setup has detected that the version of Service Pack for this system is newer than the update you are applying"

  So I can't install the update. Is it possible to reinstall this hotfix without remove SP3 or is there another work around, I can use?

  Installed on your DB schema is 12.1.2.0.0, but the Extension of domain requires 12.1.3.0.0.

  One solution is to run the 12.1.3.0.0 UCR, fall of the existing on your DB schema followed by installation 12.1.3.0.0 on the DB schema, so that the extension of area Gets the 12.1.3.0.0 schema

  Something more is to open the template on which you spread the field. The models are present in ${MW_HOME} / oracle_common/common/models/wls, explore requirements inside the yourtemplate.jar and comment out the store schema version prerequisite credentials. This is not a good approach, but again, it's going to be a good solution since the schema 12.1.2.0.0 and 12.1.3.0.0 won't much difference.

  I discovered by chance that today there is an update of the BIOS for the Thinkpad S540 at the link:

  This is the version 1.55, released on 12 May.

  .. .and even if I go to drivers in general download page for the selected as the portable S540 concerned and looking at the BIOS available in the list of available software and drivers, it is still the old one version 1.54 of 12 March and not the new BIOS version 1.55 may 12 as in the link above!

  I think that there is a problem of updating web pages at the Lenovo site downloads?

  It seems that Lenovo support web pages are updated now so it's resolved.

  To access the BIOS press F2 at the beginning of the order started immediately after you have switched on the device, press F2 (press several times on the line)

  Toshiba Satellite L500-1ZP laptop takes the type of RAM SODIMM SDRAM PC3-8500 DDR3-1066 MHz 204pin. I would recommend the manufacturer Kingston modules.

• Analyze files in the directory newer than the DD/MM/YYYY

  In the attached VI trying to figure how to get and analyze all the log .txt files in the folder path newer than a given date, instead of just the *.txt (all text files) as it is now on. The date I will be in a sub VI is a string in the format MM/DD/YYYY. The date & time are included in file names. Commas names .txt file are broken "TesterID UUTSerial # TimeTested.txt Date. I have attached a file delimited .txt that contains the path. Someone at - it suggestions? I'm running SP1 LV2009.

  Extract date from the file name and comparing it to a date of entry seemed to be a good thing to write.  So I wrote a VI to do this.  It's here.  Just the wire in the array of file names and the date you want to compare.  The result is a list of files that are greater than or equal to the specified date.  You can change the function Compare if you want something different.  The file name must have a month 3-letter followed by a space, followed by a date, another space, the year, a space then what.  The comparison date must be in mm/dd/yyyy format.

• Setup cannot continue because the version of Windows on your computer is newer than the version on the CD.

  I'm doing a clean install of windows xp C:\i386 professional.  I can't work around the error above.

  Assuming that the file is good:

  1. Mount the drive in another computer Windows XP.
  2. Move the folder i386 on the disk.
  3. Format the drive FAT32
  4. Bring the i386 on the disk file.
  5. Start the computer with a Windows 98 boot CD
  6. Run \i386\Winnt.exe
  7. Once Windows is installed, you can convert the FAT32 to NTFS drive.

  Windows XP not reformatted partitions greater than 32 GB in FAT32, you can keep the score at this size or less. If you want a partition larger than 32 GB, you can use the Windows 98 boot cd to prepare the drive and format it FAT32.

  Fdisk can choke on the logical drives NTFS tools as Delpart.exe can cope with this, or you can use the Windows XP disk management tool to remove the partitions on the drive before using the Fdisk and W98 startup disk.

  To start the disk management tool type diskmgmt.msc in the box run from the start menu.  Windows XP cannot format disks over 32 GB FAT32, but it can ride greater than 32 GB FAT32 drives which have been prepared by other operating systems.

  Download the Windows 98SE you without a RAMDrive (Win98SEnoram_bootdisk.iso) it has no Smartdrv and without it, it will take Winnt forever to copy files.

  Make sure that you have the Windows XP product key before do you all this!  Without the key, you will not be able to install Windows.  The key can be extracted from the registry if necessary.

  1 stop the DRM service.

  2 make a backup of drm-config. XML

  3 uninstall DRM

  4 rename the old under EPM home DataRelationshipManagement installation directory so that we know, there are no files of the old installation where we reinstall

  OPTIONAL

  5 check that .NET 3.5 SP1 with the appropriate fixes installed on the system.

  6. check that all pour.NET/ASP.NET Web Server Extensions in particular have been properly activated.

  7 run aspnet_regiis.exe directory .NET 3.5 on this system. The relevant aspnet_regiis.exe will be under %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\ for .NET 3.5.

  8. run IISReset.exe

  9 re-install DRM in the same as before installation directory - which will be a new directory, of course.

  10. Rename drm - config.xml and restore your backup of this file.

  11 start the DRM service and test.

  You have restored the old control file while your data files are recent. Restore the last control file and then recover your database to open it.

• Updated Flash product Message that the update is not new as the installed Version

  On some computers, whenever I update Flash Player, I get a message (twice) that says that the already installed version is newer than the one I'm trying to install (upper figure). Obviously, this is not true. It seems that the installation, although it go all the way, maybe really not complete. Furthermore, I continually get messages saying that Flash Player is not updated.

  On the current computer, Windows reports that the following are installed:

  1. Adobe Flash Player Plugin 15
  2. ActiveX Adobe Flash Player 17
  3. Adobe Flash Player NPAPI 17

  I tried using Windows uninstall to remove the Flash Player Plugin 15, but I get the same error message as I do when I am trying to install one of the updates of the current. It is not removed by the uninstall process.

  1. Assuming that Flash Player Plugin 15 is the problem, how can I get rid of it completely?
  2. Should I delete the NPAPI and ActiveX controls first and then try to delete the Plugin?
  3. Use the method of "brute force" to remove the files and then search for and removing registration register?
  4. Adobe has a specialized program for the realization of this process?

  I'd appreciate any help that this forum may be able to provide.

  I just wanted you to know that I've set. I uninstalled

  1. ActiveX Adobe Flash Player 17
  2. Adobe Flash Player NPAPI 17

  in the sequence, then uninstalled Adobe Flash Player Plugin 15. I got same error messages on the version I tried to 'install' is lower than installed.

  So I ran a number of pieces of registry: CCleaner, Wise, Glary, etc.. I checked the files you mentioned were indeed, not present, or the under program files. With a reboot first, I reinstalled the Version two 17 Flash Player and got no errors.

  I guess that Flash Player Plugin 15 was the true guilty and once missing, allowed for normal installations. I'll need to wait for the next update be certain that the update process works well, but I bet it will be.

• E1-510 Acer with windows 10 installed, should I update bios 2.12 new version I have now 2.5

  I have an acer laptop e1-510.  I have upgraded to windows 10 then clean installed the operating system.  I went to the acer site and there is no windows 10 drivers than ect, but I have noticed that there are updates bios newer than the one I installed.  I now have version 2.5.   The latest on the site is 2.12.  do I need to install all of the bios updates or just news?  Im very afraid of something going wrong, it is a laptop, I bought for my mother and don't want to spoil the bios because it makes a computer useless without reprogramming or a new bios chip.   Thanks to anyone who can offer assistance on this
