Trial of Lightroom 4 will not open... help!
I just downloaded the demo of lightroom 4. It is fully downloaded and said nothing about the mistakes, but now it won't open... need help!

I downloaded a trial version of dreamweaver. He worked for a few days, then stopped working. When I click on the desktop icon, it load and asks me if I want to continue my trial (29 days) or enter serial number. When I click on continue with trial a 'Dreamweaver 8' banner rises (which indicates that it is loading) and then it closes. I called technical support and has not managed to pass several times. When I did finally (after 45 minutes) the conclusion, that they gave me was that THEY COULD NOT HELP ME for 'FREE' because it was a trial version. I really want to learn this program and would appreciate any help. I also checked the download of dreamweaver troubleshooting page and tried a few things that do not seem to help. My computer is fairly recent and has more than enough memory (160G or more?).

It seems to be a problem with the preview cache.
Navigate to the location of your Lightroom catalog via finder/File Explorer and get rid of the Previews.lrdata folder suggest you (do not delete the .lrcat file)

"HP Advisor Alert" that will not open - HELP!
Received a "HP Advisor alert" popup window which advise to "1 recommended alerts", but I'm unable to open the alert as the "throber" runs continuously and does not stop. I worked for a few hours, while this alert remains on the screen never go away or have completed its download. I hope you understand what I'm saying and hope that someone will be useful. Thank you.
HP Advisor is a software very bug. Uninstall it or use the settings in the application to prevent it from start with Windows each time the machine is powered.
You can check the drivers/updates manually using the "Support & drivers" button located at the top of this page.

Simpass program will NOT open HELP
I like to use my simple entry card and in the past 2 days it has stopped working. I have sought clues about how solve this problem, but solution appear above my knowledge.
I can't open the program Pass Simple even if Simple passage still works to connect and get also to Web sites. It does not have to sign in to Web sites well.

It seems that you have upgraded to Windows 8.1, Yes? It is not really important, although if you have recently upgraded your operating system, do, of course, you have all of your updates Windows Installer before proceeding.

You can run on an outdated version of SimplePass and to get tips on troubleshooting.
You won't be running on the latest version for 6. To Scripture, it is version 6.0.100.276.
- See the following guide to update to the latest version of HP SimplePass 6.x.
- Skip the "Start Here" part at the top of the document.
- Ignore any busines on series 8 - want to stay with the latest version of series 6.
Open the file > click Download > click 'open in Adobe Reader.

Need help connecting 4 Photoshop Lightroom to Photoshop CS6 on my windows computer. I uninstalled CS5 to save the room and no link between ambient light and CS6 is missing; I tried to use E control and he say it exports, but nothing happens.
An idea
The pref settings point to CS6 - see image below. If this is not the case, leave the LR4 and PS CS6 and re - boot your computer. Then restart LR4.

Lightroom: LR4 will not open - error unexpected opening catalog
I can't open LR4. I get an "unexpected error opening catalog. The catalog cannot be opened due to an unexpected error. "This has happened after the failure of an update to WIN7. He restored the system to a previous version. In doing so, he also returned LR4.2 to LR4.1. I've seen other threads can open a different catalog, or create a new one. The problem is that, once I go to "Choose a different catalog", I get the windows to the screen where I can choose my backup. I select the backup catalog and click on 'open '. The window disappears, but the window "Select a catalog" underlying LR shows still 1 catalog to open... my original catalogue. The backup does not appear in the list. (The backup is not a network drive, and it is not marked as read).
I then try 'create a new catalog', get the Windows screen, enter a new name and click "Save". The same thing happens. The Windows screen goes away and the window "Select a catalog" LR still shows the catalog of moose in the list. So, I can not create or choose a different catalog. I'm doing something wrong?

I installed Lightroom CC CC on Macbook Yosemite 10.10.3 running App. It says it is installed, but the attempts to open it get only a snapshot of the screen flash, then nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but get the same result.
I can assure you that disconnect from creative cloud and reconnect works, like the post above.
Adobe: Creative cloud must die a horrible death. Bring regular return of your product licenses. CC has been nothing other than a nightmare.

Lightroom do not open - help!
Lightroom will not open at all - box comes up saying Adobe Lightroom has stopped working - problem caused the blocking of the work programme. I can't right click or anything, just a blue circle goes round. Assuming that it can be a problem Windows 10 that I downloaded this maybe a few months ago and not used Lightroom since but can't find anything in the forums on this subject - only on catalog does not. Microsoft says is a matter of Adobe, nothing they can do! Help needed please.

After all the troubleshooting suggestions and also uninstall and reinstall Firefox, it won't always work. First it fades and a "does not" review appeared on the letterhead, with the pointer regarding the timer but nothing did. He was recently working fine for ages and I have not added anything, or deleted, so does not understand why he should stop suddenly work.
I followed all the troubleshooting tips and disabled the plug ins, also removed a lot of the add - ons, did not always work. Then I uninstalled and re-installed.
Now, it will still not open. A window pops up saying: he's fallen down and giving me the opportunity to re - start or leave. If I click on start, it only re - start.
I even started it in SafeMode but which will not open either, it opens for about a minute then just closes.

If you have not been able to
Settings - general - storage - Storage - find the app - delete
Do a forced reboot - after all open applications using the app Chooser - invoked by fast double pressing the home button and drag upwards on each app until it disappears from the screen.
Meet the sleep/wake and home buttons down until you see the logo - then release and allow normal start upward
Then re download the app
