  Someone another trouble or know why my free trial of creative cloud, which is installed on my computer does not load the apps section?   I followed this recipy: Lightroom does not launch or closes automatically after the splash screen

  But it does not work.

  I suggest you to please restart the computer once and then check again.

• Trial version of Lightroom CC maintains suspended (not responding) (Windows 10).

  An answer to a similar question for mac os has suggested turning off the gpu acceleration - but I don't know what gpu acceleration is (or even a what gpu) and certainly do not have an idea on how to deeactivate it. It's so frustrating because the program is almost whenever I want to move library to develop - or switch from one photo to another. I'm trying to leave the trial and try to Silkypix (despite the learning curve with this software), or even to stick with Picasa and settle for what offers.

  Hi geraldm;

  Please turn off the graphics processor in the Lightroom preferences.

  Open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom

  Let us know if that helps.

• Lightroom 6 independent does not start on Windows 10

  I just purchased Lightroom for the first time. Got the stand-alone version on disk (not interested in a subscription). I installed it on my machine Windows 10. No apparent problem with the installation (I checked the Setup log and it reported no errors). But when I double click on the shortcut (or directly open the .exe in the folder), nothing happens. No start even screen. As far as I know, the program is not even pop up on the Task Manager.

  Searched the forums for answers.

  I upgraded the App Manager at Adobe CC. signed and back in. No help.

  I changed the names of the cache files. No help.

  I installed the 6.1.1 patch. No help.

  Restarted several times after each of these things. No help.

  Basically, Lightroom is only available as an icon on my desktop. Any other ideas? Uninstall and reinstall? Call Adobe in the morning, but thought I would check everything first here.
