• Question of lightbox

  When you click on a thumbnail that triggers a lightbox, the screen slowly fades to black (~ 1 second transition).

  Is it possible to remove that fade to black entertainment and make the screen turn black immediately (like Facebook)?

  We cannot have this setup from the widget options or end of Muse, but yes, after export, you can add some work code in your page to get the same effect.

• How to pin the button close the lightbox?

  I tried slamming the box close to the upper right of the background of the lightbox to make it stick. But it does not work. Whenever I use a lightbox gallery the close button is never accurate to display in the upper right of each image. any ideas / work aorunds / or advice on how I should do this?

  The Lightbox slideshow widgets approach needs some care and attention.

  Prime: triggers a Lightbox may be positioned very precisely on the page, but the image container will always appear centered horizontally and vertically, any position you give.

  Now the close box is positioned relatively to the container, but when the container is by train to adapt uneven size of images of heroes in the container, the close box appears misplaced image indeed! Give the container (not the bottom) temporarily a fill color and check if your images may vary in size and dimensions.

  Try to keep your images at the same size, or use to fill instead of adapting to the images of heroes in the control panel of the widget (under the small blue arrow).

  And that's where another possible anomaly is popping up: the option adjust or fill the bin with an image of hero , is valid for News photos, not for existing devices. And when an image is not enough pixels to fill the container size, it will show its maximum size in the middle of the container (take the parameter HiDPI account, when you use it).

  On a side note: get the container image off the screen while working on the rest of the page, moving on the side of the page is a common practice. But pass the 'Show lightbox parts when editing' option off is a much better way to get them out of sight.

  

• Is it possible to add keywords, alt tags and title tags to lightbox images and/or triggers?

  I build a mobile site that is fairly heavily dependent on lighbox poster for the scrolling feature. The issue I encountered is I should be able to add alt tags and title images in the device of light therapy (slide show) to keep the SEO of my website. I designed only some of the pages so far, and I'm going through is that once an image is considered to be a 'trigger' of muse, I can add is more the elements of SEO in the same way, I can when it comes to an image.

  A few ways to get around this, I found are:

  (1) export the Dreamweaver site and then I can go the code and add the SEO for images in the lighbox on the backend.

  (2) I can build the frame by frame and then site more to file each trigger for the lighbox slideshow.

  The problem with #1 is that when I export my Dreamweaver site is then modified in muse. I see this pose a huge problem, as I move forward with new iterations of my site. Changes in dreamweaver are not transferable to muse and creating two separate sites. This means that I would need to recreate all the seo built whenever I update the site. This is not really an option and is not efficient at all. Is there a way to come and go between these two products I know? This would be more useful.

  Question # 2: I built each project page on the great site as for most background images with triggers asked. I did it to try to lower the overall gerth of the site, but it is apparent that I won't be able to work around this problem and maintain seo, of that I'm looking.

  Strictly speaking, in HTML (images of filling) background images do not support these tags. That said, in certain contexts, it may make sense to Muse allow to set these attributes on an arbitrary object (which may, or may not, have a picture fill).

  you have 3 images, small medium and large but Muse can do for you... I recommend you to do the biggest effigies in photoshop to have them as image low ground. This lowers the download size and stop people stealing your images.

  I have to go soon, but my best advice is to drop the popup multiimage fo one value... This is FAR easyier to learn so that you can make them quickly as needed

  the main problem with this fix is just to have at least two layers, so don't be the way widgets each others

• Button close not available for lightbox composition widget (title edited by moderator)

  I work in Adobe Muse 2014.3.2.11 and have a composition of lightbox (not a slideshow, a composition). I dragged the composition lightbox on the web widget and right click to clear all the Widget content and clear all the Widget style, while I was working with a trigger and a target. This automatically makes the lightbox container full screen when you click the shutter. The problem is, there is no more close.

  I then tried another method, dragging a composition lightbox on the canvas widget, except that this time only by selecting clear all Widget style and then manually removed the triggers of 2nd and 3rd. This maintained the close button, but now there is no way for the lightbox container be full screen when you click on the target.

  So how do a composition of jQuery full screen while maintaining the close button?

  Well, I think I found it! You're right, the close button is there, strange that he would not appear on a select all. So it was just an empty box without content, no way to see it. Problem solved! Thank you.

• Window style Popup "Lightbox" when a link is clicked

  I hope someone can help me, or perhaps point me to a widget that can help (happy to pay if need be!)

  I am designing a site and I would like the ability to click on one of our products but have product information appear in the same window in style lightbox covering a part of the screen, which can then easily be closed to continue browsing the site.

  Does make sense? Such a device is in the Muse?

  Yes. It should work.

  What you need to do, is use the ToolTip (background goes out) or the display of the viewer and change triggers so that each of the pedals are in one of them or use multiple instances of the widget, one for each of the pedals.

  I recommend that, after placing the widget, you remove the second and third triggers (and objectives). This way when you do one and create the second, it will have the same configuration

  After placing one of the widgets click several times until only the first trigger is selected, then make it bigger. Now drag the image of the first pedal on the large shutter button until the border slightly changes (it becomes thicker). Now the image belongs to the trigger. Repeat the process with the text.

  To add the image in the light table, you can do the same. Bare in mind that you must have the right choice. One click selects the widget, the other triggers (or target) and the other the individual trigger/target. The next click selects the item inside of the relaxation/target. It seems odd, but once you do you will get it.

  Now customize the background/borders/etc of the trigger the target. The next target that you create (plus sign) should have the same configuration as the first.

• Miniature with magnified Lightbox Gallery?

  I have a site that was built with Site Grinder 3 way back when and I'm now recreate the entire site with Muse to facilitate maintenance and design updates. One thing I have a replication problem is my portfolio gallery, which is a column of thumbnails that are real lightbox images of enlarged of the image when you click on it. (like this: nextexit.la/portfolio.php)

  I tried using the jQuery nested display settings, and although I found a solution, in my opinion, there must be an easier and faster way. Because with the current solution, it comes down to me to have to add a new "trigger" for each portfolio, I would like to add. That means that I also have to manually choose the "target". I want something that can be easily updated using the editing in the browser. Something where you just have to add new images ONCE and the thumbnails automatically fill the frame by a fixed percentage.

  Anyone know if this is possible?

  You can create it manually with composition and States defined for the triggers with a different version of the same image as zoomed to turnover which would carry the container on click or use any one of them:

  An another weird problem in Muse that I can't figure out how to fix it.  Here is an image that illustrates what I see:

  

  I exported this screenshot of the page in preview mode in real size so that people can take a closer look and see the problem: thumbnails in the top row, to varying degrees, have white edges that shouldn't be there.  Can't seem to get rid of them and they are an artifact of insert in the design of the page using the lightbox widget.  These are thumbnails of trigger.  When you click on it, they open a viewer that contains the Vimeo widget that displays the relevant video.  Thumbnails should have "clean" edges  The black rectangles are part of the background image (PNG file showing a container for thumbnails). they are placeholders and so they can be ignored.  Remove them later by replacing the PNG file do not solve everything.  When I drag and drop the thumbnail in the relaxation area, I let go of the mouse button when I fly over the area of the trigger, then move the mouse to the upper left corner that makes a ghost of the thumbnail image appear, and allows to align the corner of the tile to the upper left of the relaxation area.  Click the mouse and the miniature extends to its full size and throws over the trigger area.  As described in the tutorial of lightbox.  However, I notice that the trigger area will develop to fit the entire thumbnail, but since it covers most of it, I do not see that as a problem until I discovered design in preview mode.  The Triggers service, but I have funky white edges that make the amateur of sloppy, designer look.

  To return to design mode, I adjust a trigger to be the same size as the thumbnail.  And the result is the same: white edges or maybe light grey; It is difficult to know.  But antics with the order of the layers image and triggers oversees some results on triggers does not.  I assure you that I chose NO FILLING on relaxation areas, as well as on the frames of images for each of them.  If anyone else has experienced this?  Fine widgets function; the design gives inexplicable defects.

  I answered my own question.  In preview mode, I noticed that the edges of the thumbnail image would shrink and expand a little as I said above.  I finally realized that the relaxation area on the top of the image frame had different States already applied by the lightbox widget.  Each State had a fill and a stroke applied color.  Select NO affected FILL only a trigger State (Muse initially defaults to 'active' that I took to mean "it is the element that is now active, because you have selected it.")  Seems counterintuitive automatically add me these colors in a relaxing setting that will contain a thumbnail image.  I removed the color of background and outline of each of the triggers.  Problem solved.  All the thumbnails have clean edges.  The cursor changing to a hand icon and ToolTips are enough prompting the user to achieve what are buttons.

  How to use lightbox (or other widget if there is a better) to see the videos to youtube with thumbnails and a player video popup?

  Place the composition "Lightbox view" widget on your page and place the YouTube widget in the lightbox.

  For thumbnails, use an image (maybe a screenshot of the film YouTube) and fill the lightbox with it triggers (order fill in the strip of higher order)

• a way to change the style lightbox - all viewers automatically update?

  Hi guys, im setting up a video portfolio site and I went initially to have several thumbnails on each page, each trigger, an album containing a video.

  at a later stage, I might want to change the size of the black box that surrounds the video (I think what its called the container), or add an image / change color etc...

  My question is, is there a way to set up as a model so that when I update one, they are all up to date?

  It worries me because I have about 40 vignettes, each link to an album.

  If you change the size of a container of the widget HTML composition, Muse automatically updates the containers of other videos of lightbox that you used, as long as you used a single with triggers lightbox widget with multiple targets.

  However, I must tell you that muse will update the size of the container and not the positioning of the videos, so if you want to adjust the positions of the videos too, then you will need to do so individually.

• Adobe Muse doesn't let me change the States of thumbnails in a lightbox.

  Muse doesn't let me change the States of thumbnails for my lightbox. The only thing that it is allowing me to do the right now is to change the opacity of each State. I would like to than the 'normal' State of my nail of the thumb to be a solid color, the "Rollover" State to reveal the image that is displayed in the Viewer, the State of "mouse down" to be another solid color and the 'active' State of being of the same color together as a 'normal' State I changed the color, and I even tried to fill it with a real image with a solid color file. Nothing will work - the State remains just to display the main images in the thumbnails. I would appreciate help! I don't understand why it won't work. States work for everything else.

  With startup, if you add a picture as a thumbnail then it could appear as hero image.

  We cannot install according to States with the thumbnails of the images, any image or fill added to the would be added as a background image. You can change the image of the active panel, but still we can not install different images with the States.

  Better idea would be to use the composition where you can set up reports for the triggers and the images separate targets.
