trouble moving

When I try to move the images from one folder to another, LR tells me that the photo is already there, but it's not!  What should I do?

If Lightroom says the file is already there, so the file is already there.

Lightroom is not a file Explorer, it shows you all the files in a folder. He knows only the files that have been imported. So, most likely, you (accidentally?) any photo in a different folder using the COPY option, now you have a copy in the desired folder (which does not show in Lightroom) and there is a copy in the other folder that appears in Lightroom.

If you want to move the file, you will need to enter your operating system and delete the file in the folder you "want." Then in Lightroom, move the file 'unwanted' photo in the "desired" folder

A much better way to organize is to use tools such as keywords and other metadata, Lightroom, and then moving pictures from here to there becomes useless, you use the keywords and other metadata to find your photos.

  • Default BIOS password

    Hello everyone,

    I had real trouble moving my Touchsmart 600 - 1030fr to Windows 8. Due to incompatibility of graphics driver, I see nothing on my computer after the startup screen (the one with the blue window).

    I discovered that a change in the BIOS can solve this problem, but my BIOS asks me a password. I tried to reset this password in removal and replacement of the battery from the motherboard. Although he told me that the BIOS has been reversed to the factory settings, the password is always there.

    Is anyone of you know what is the password to the factory settings?

    Also, I read on the forum but

    • The password 12345 found heredoes not work
    • the text which States

    "NOTE: If a new non - HP BIOS is installed, and turn on a password is used, and you don't remember the password to start the computer, see the support document of specification motherboard for your computer model to find the password reset instructions to clear BIOS passwords."
    not help me in my documentation of the computer do me not any suspicion on the specification of the motherboard and it is a real BIOS HP.

    Thanks for your help.

    Here are the specifications of your desktop HP TouchSmart 600-1030fr and it's card mother Pegatron IPP7A-M5 (E60). Please follow these instructions;

    The BIOS password is used to protect the settings of the BIOS against unwanted changes. If you have forgotten your password, you can use this jumper to reset password settings.

    To clear the password BIOS follow these steps:

    1 turn off the POWER the computer and unplug the power cord.

    2. Locate the jumper marked CLEARLY P.W.

    3. move the jumper on the PSWD jumper on pins 3-1.

    4 wait about 10 seconds, and then return the jumper to pins 5-3.

    5. connect the power cord and turn on the computer.

    6 hold down the F10 key during the boot process to enter the BIOS setup. You will not be asked a password.

    Have you tried to remove the height of 10px and keeping the opened with a non breaking space (as below) OR Insert actually images directly into the themselves rather than background images?

    Not quite sure what's wrong with your code, but theres something in it that is alien to me and I usually have no trouble moving things to render correctly in all browsers, that is, not sure I like the idea of setting a height only 10 px. Divs can have a minimum height required to work in all browsers.

    If you insert images directly into the then most likely you will need to add your css below:

    IMG {}

    display: block;

    }

    This should kill an IE bug which inserts the space between the two images directly where one is on top of the other.

    No decisive position is necessary for the

    containers within the 'left '.
    just follow in the natural flow of the code. Using css redundant attributes the single server to make troubleshooting difficult.

    I had an "Aha" moment at 05:00 this morning and was returning from 06:30 (14000 + photos).  I had Miss read the statement to the needed to create a new catalog on my new computer and once I got that straightened out without problem.  I ended up putting the new catalogue on a portable hard drive where I put the photo file.  I'm not sure it's a good idea, but now that I built it the 5 - DVD, it will be easy to move to the optimal location.  Do you think my c drive is a better place for this?  I save everything with Norton Ghost on another portable drive.

  • text of emails downloaded becomes corrupt, moved to other emails or just deleted

    A block of downloaded emails, a few days ago will come back three weeks, have altered the text, moved or simply deleted text.

    The corrupted text looks like its Web page code or source code. Sometimes the text of a message will be displayed, not corrupted, as the text of another message. And sometimes the content is just totally cleared.

    What happened more than once.

    Try to rebuild the troubled folder index file.

    Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.  When I try to catch the separator bar to go back to the left, only half of the small arrow icon and line appears, and it cannot be moved.   Can open the message by double clicking a message viewer.

    Hi there, alicefrompa!

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. From your post, I understand that you do not see the Message Viewer box which allows you to read your e-mails; only see you the Inbox that includes a brief overview of the message and are unable to restore access using the separator bars. I have had this happen to my own Mail app and am happy to let you know how I could fix!

    You are really on the right track - you want to roll your mouse over the divider between the Inbox and sections Message Viewer (which should now be on the extreme right edge of your mail window) and drag it to the left.  When you click on the receipt/Message Viewer box, the cursor turns into a line continuous black with a single arrow pointing to the left. When you see the cursor change, click with the left button of the mouse and (while holding down the mouse button in) drag the combination line / arrow to the left. You may need to drag a little further than before to get it. I had to hang mine almost completely in the middle of my Mail app before the display of the message box appeared.

    From there, you should be able to adjust the boxes to your widths you want as expected.

    If you are still not able to get the display of the messages visible after have try this, here are a few more things that you can do.

    1. Press command + O on your keyboard.
    2. Exit the Mail application, and then press on and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard while reopening.
    3. Restart your Mac by selecting the menu  Apple in the upper right of your screen restart from the menu drop down.

    See you soon!

  • My Apple Magic Mouse 2 is erratic, its moving very slowly or not at all.

    My Magic Mouse 2 is erratic, it sometimes does not move or moves very slowly.  I tried to log on to Apple Support without success as accessories do not seem to be supported.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  I have changed the speed of follow-up, recharging the mouse via bluetooth, rebooted, not everything works.  Scrolling works fine, but when I move the mouse it move step or move slowly.  I use a pad, just to make sure this isn't a surface issue.

    I'm curious to know if your problem persists on the mouse pad? I also use a mouse pad. Mine is a black steelseries all mats. I bought it when I bought my MM2 nearly two months. Before this week, I had when the mouse pointer is frozen on the screen or moved very slowly for a period of time. The problem solved always himself, after a brief period. Starting this week I twice when the pointer is locked horizontally. He moves laterally, but not vertically. I moved it out of the mouse pad, and it worked perfectly. Back on the shelf, it is still stuck horizontally. By turning the MM2/turn off had no effect. I rebooted and everything worked again. Spend a day or two, and it does again. I was not in a place to do a restart and continued to work on the mouse pad. After a few moments I am back on the mouse pad and it works again. It has been working fine since then. I have reviewed the MM2 lens, but it seems normal. He had been recently charged then the power should not be a problem. With the exception of those troubles it works much better that my original Messrs. Pour memory, I use a Mac mini (end 2012) OS X 10.11.2 with updates that have been offered. I did a general search of this issue and your description seems close, I could find to issue messages so far.

  • Moving pictures of Android to iCloud

    Hi all

    I'm in trouble! I'm eager to spend the Ms. of an android phone to an iPhone.

    She already has an iCloud account because it has an iPad. She has no computer/laptop.

    Move contacts and stuff to the iphone is of course quite simple by implementing his e-mail account of Google on the iPhone.

    -How can I him 30 + GB of photos moved into iCloud?

    The iphone will be a 16 GB Version - I have the same, having 40 + GB of photos in icloud and had no problems with the available memory on the phone.

    I have a macbook, but I don't want to pollute my library iphoto with its pictures and vice versa.

    Suggestions as to how photos from your android phone can be charged upward to icloud, so that, as soon as she starts to use an iphone, they're all here ready to go?

    Thanks in advance!

    You do not need to do through iPhoto, it can be done via a web interface to iCloud.com

    Any window that you want to resize all the time must be the last closed window.

    Take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.

  • Moving video files from digital camera, date taken does not save

    On Win7 Pro I'm having a problem where when I move the files from my digital camera Canon or my Sony digital camcorder to HDD the date taken on the videos aren't save. It defines at the time I moved the hard disk instead. It comes to all the dates in the properties.

    It's only when I copy the video files keep everything file photo.

    This happens when I copy files directly from the camera or the SD card

    All the files on the camera are correct but none of those on the hard drive.

    Ok. I had trouble to transfer photos from my old computer to my new computer.  The dates and times on the pictures changed.

    I finally got the moved and kept the correct dates on each photo.

    That's what I did:

    1. I opened the 'Pictures' folder on the old computer and click on "Select all" under the tab 'Edit' at the top.

    2. then I went to the "Edit" tab and choose "move to folder".

    3. in the next window, called '' Elements to move, '' I found the file that I wanted to move the photos to and selected this folder and then clicked on "move".

    4. all photos have been transferred to the new computer with the date and time correct.

    5. However, this deletes all photos from the old computer.  But I do not really need them on the old computer since I will be recycling with Dell.

    We sincerely hope that this information helps someone else, since I had a hard time finding how to do this task.

    Good luck.

  • Briefcase has left an empty copy after I moved it.

    I noticed a strange behaviour in my computer, specifically the Briefcase folder. When I created the folder, the first icon I see is regular folder icon, until I pressed the Enter key. If I moved by using the cut command, it is moved to another location, and I'm more in its first position. But when I do one Briefcase with the same name in the same place, it is named new portfolio 2. When I close and re-open the folder where it is located, the previous portfolio appear, although its empty and the icon is a regular folder, not on the Briefcase icon. Similar to when the file has been moved, he left a copy empty and not visible until I make another folder of Briecase with the same name. If anyone can help me explain why and how to get rid of the copy.

    Hello ma.slzr

    Portfolio such as implemented in Vista has serious problems, and it seems that they are not going to be fixed.  The reason may be that, in practice, the case is obsolete.

    If you must use Briefcase in Vista, create a new Briefcase object each time, rather than stick a former.   Use the new command on the desktop to create, and then use Windows Explorer to move it to the destination folder before adding files to synchronize.  Even in this case, in my experience, portfolio won't be reliable.  Often, it crashes and it loses files.  Prior to Vista, I used the Briefcase for years without problem.  On Vista, it was nothing but trouble.

    Fortunately, Microsoft provides a new and much better synchronization tool called Toy Synch.  You can find it here:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=c26efa36-98E0-4ee9-a7c5-98d0592d8c52

    Synch toy 2.1 is more flexible and more powerful than the Briefcase.   I use it all day on Vista and would highly recommend it.

  • Trouble, publishing many projects that need to open a new one!

    Hello

    could someone provide a breakdown of the "best practices" publication of many projects that need to open other buttons/clickboxes and continued to quiz result slides through. This is my first published project so when providing pointers you can consider me a novice in computer science from Captivate, thanks in advance!

    Recommended is to NOT try to keep all projects in the same folder.  It is asking for trouble.

    Separate projects each in their own files.

    Instead use the action to open another project, use open URL or file instead and use a relative link to point to the other project HTM file.  Never use an absolute link if you will be moving these files.

    Best practice is to avoid using spaces in file names and always use lowercase file names.  If you need to change it, when you publish your project.  You will break the links if change you it later.

    When you put all that together, if you are testing on your local hard drive, you must also have the location of publication record as a trusted location in your Flash Global security settings.  This post will explain this issue and how to deal with:

  • Help! JavaScript works not when the object is moved from one page to the other!

    Hi all:

    I am new to Adobe Livecycle Designer (version 8.0). I created an interactive pdf form of 3 pages with many objects (text fields, radio buttons, drop-down lists, etc.), our company wants to quickly start to use.

    I'm having trouble with some of my Javascript does not not with some of my items on page 2 of the form. Specifically, there is a drop down menu to "Country" on page 2 of my form. When the user selects, for example, 'United States' in the list, I have the Javascript code that is supposed to change the 'currency' list drop-down to "Dollars" rawValue accordingly (on the change event).

    I think that my Javascript syntax is correct, but I am not sure. Here's my simple Javascript associated with the "Country" drop-down list (Note: rawValue 80 = 'United States' and 105 rawValue = "US $"):

    -

    Form1. Page1.cmbContactInfoCountry::change :-(JavaScript, client).

    If (this.rawValue == 80) {}

    cmbCurrency.rawValue = 105;

    It sounds pretty simple and it WORKS when my "Country" drop-down list is moved to page 1 of the form, but it WON'T WORK when I move the combo box "Country" return to page 2 of the form (i.e. where it belongs).

    Anyone has suggestions or solutions? I spent probably 6-8 hours of racking my brain trying to figure out why it works when on a single page, but it does not work when to move to another page. I guess I can have corrupted something OR that I not address fully the proper name of the object?

    Help, please!

    Yes, it's a quirk of... in the drop-down lists when you select an item in the DOF it is not committed until you exit the field, unless you do the following:

    If (this.boundItem (xfa.event.newText) == 1) {}

    cmbCurrency.rawValue = 1;

    }

    ElseIf (this.boundItem (xfa.event.newText) == 2) {}

    cmbCurrency.rawValue = 2;

    }

    The xfa.resolveNode stuff was not necessary that both objects are of the same subform, and as such can 'see' each other.

    Think like a folder structure subforms - elements can see what is in their own folder but will say where to find things in other folders. If cmbCountry was subform1 and cmbCurrency was so in subform2 that rawValue above lines would look like:

    subform2.cmbCurrency.RawValue = 1;

    It's a good idea to name all your objects, subforms, etc. it is to work with script is much easier - so you won't have to deal with things like these pieces of xfa.resolveNode you had before (as well). He ones because you have more than one subform called "subform", the number of hooks is the Instance number (when you have several of the same object) if the program has to differentiate between the various "subform".

    The number of instance come in handy, but for things like the rows of the table and so on when you need to make calculations.
