My Apple Magic Mouse 2 is erratic, its moving very slowly or not at all.

My Magic Mouse 2 is erratic, it sometimes does not move or moves very slowly.  I tried to log on to Apple Support without success as accessories do not seem to be supported.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  I have changed the speed of follow-up, recharging the mouse via bluetooth, rebooted, not everything works.  Scrolling works fine, but when I move the mouse it move step or move slowly.  I use a pad, just to make sure this isn't a surface issue.

I'm curious to know if your problem persists on the mouse pad? I also use a mouse pad. Mine is a black steelseries all mats. I bought it when I bought my MM2 nearly two months. Before this week, I had when the mouse pointer is frozen on the screen or moved very slowly for a period of time. The problem solved always himself, after a brief period. Starting this week I twice when the pointer is locked horizontally. He moves laterally, but not vertically. I moved it out of the mouse pad, and it worked perfectly. Back on the shelf, it is still stuck horizontally. By turning the MM2/turn off had no effect. I rebooted and everything worked again. Spend a day or two, and it does again. I was not in a place to do a restart and continued to work on the mouse pad. After a few moments I am back on the mouse pad and it works again. It has been working fine since then. I have reviewed the MM2 lens, but it seems normal. He had been recently charged then the power should not be a problem. With the exception of those troubles it works much better that my original Messrs. Pour memory, I use a Mac mini (end 2012) OS X 10.11.2 with updates that have been offered. I did a general search of this issue and your description seems close, I could find to issue messages so far.

I have an iMac end of 2015 for Christmas and it came with the Apple Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Keyboard 2 I was wondering why I can see the State of my mouse, but I do not see the status of the battery on my keyboard?  Also, as of today, I had the computer for more than a month and have never had to recharge the keyboard or the mouse.  Now, my mouse is 17% but I did see battery messages and since I can't seem to get the status of the keyboard I think that I shall never see he or she only turns on when low.  The computer came preloaded with Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and I have the latest update.  I've seen another post here batteries but they were old of machines to replace the batteries.  Anyone with any help is greatly appreciated.

  • APPLE MAGIC MOUSE - THIS WILL WORK ON WINDOWS?

I'm running Windows 7 on two different computers and would like to buy the Apple Magic Mouse (wireless).  It will work with Windows if I install the drivers from third party sites, I see online?
I like to hear from anyone who tried.  Some reviews say it works... Some say it is not.
Given that some Apple systems have installed MAC and Windows systems... I don't understand why Apple does not only provide drivers for this mouse works with both.

    Greg

    Hello Greg,.

Apple magic mouse won't work with Windows 7 or else no matter what Windows operating system. It is specially designed for Mac users and not users of Windows.

The requirements for the magic mouse from Apple has been considered by the Apple site

    The system configuration required

    * Computer Mac with Bluetooth wireless technology
    * Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later with Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0* or Mac OS X v10.6.1 or later with Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0
    * Existing keyboard and mouse for the installation
    * Two AA batteries (included)

I update its version, uninstall & re-installed. Separately downloaded the new version and install after uninstalling old firefox, but I don't have a solution.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

In Firefox 4 and later Safe mode disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.

  • mouse magic mouse from Apple

Nobody knows why the mouse Apple Magic mouse has these gliders made of plastic which does not slip on the bottom? I don't understand why something that costs so much is so impractical. There are also two batteries while all other wireless mouse I've owned have a pile. Of course, it looks good, but it's almost the point if it is a drag to use.

Depends on what you mean by "drag not."   I used a magic mouse (actually three) since 2007.   I have no problem with the element "glide" insofar as it always slides around that I need.   I wonder what you use as a carpet.   I use a piece of black felt to the artist (available at any artist materials store) which is smooth and gives no reflection that would pose problems for the optics.   What I need to do is brush it once a week.

Can't say anything about the batteries; It is a question of design.   Perhaps a single battery would have been more difficult to integrate into the form.

You should submit comments of this kind of Apple product reviews.   They recognize you probably not, but we are sure that they read all the comments.

  • Is the mouse Magic Mouse from Apple, a Wi - Fi connection or a Bluetooth device?

I use a final model of the Apple Magic Mouse with my latest model MacBook and OS X and I think it's very nice design the Magic Mouse is useless for my needs but it is not accurate at all.

I found that the mouse is very difficult to manage these moments I need to move the mouse slowly as 1 to 5 pixels, I can feel that the mouse does not respond immediately when I start moving it after a few seconds of inactivity.

I use a very old super cheap Microsoft mouse (wired) and it is very functional, but of course not as nice as the Magic Mouse

After exploring all settings and configurations of the Apple Magic Mouse, I would essentially mouse either USB or Wi - Fi alternatives, but in the meantime I told us the Apple Magic Mouse uses Bluetooth technology which is not as good and accurate as Wi - Fi.

Plug mouse says it uses Bluetooh and wireless so now I'm confused and I was wondering if there is anyone here who might give clarification about this.

    No Wi - Fi.

  • Last Magic Mouse 2 is not compatible with the Mavericks 10.95 - and that stinks

It is not so much a question as an expression of stunned disappointment.  My old mouse Magic went kablooey, and so I got a new.  Unfortunately when I the paired with my MacPro 2012, running the Mavericks 10.95 (sorry Apple, you have not matched the Mavericks speed and performance with Yosemite and El Capitan) I discovered that features the touch like scrolling and swiping has not worked.

After an hour to read the little booklet that comes with the mouse, zap the PRAM, reset the SMC and usually ask myself? *  I watched the Magic Mouse box and found the answer in 3 grey dots on white type: requires OS 10,11 or higher.  All right.  Mea culpa, caveat emptor, blah blah.  I should have read through the entire page of the Magic Mouse on the Apple Store Web site, but I already have the product so don't figure there were many new take into account.

However, it seems strange to me that a completely necessary peripherals does not work with a BONE from a few years ago.

There are loyal customers (30 years of computer science and I have never used or owned a PC) who use your products as professional (I'm a sales manager of creation) and, for reasons that go beyond taste, prefer your earlier and faster OS.  Apple wants to move the herd along for many understandable reasons.  I do advertising.  I get it.  Offers new features and the "improvements" that Miss on users who refuse to put up-to-date is perfectly logical.  But prevents them from having a functional Apple mouse goes too far.  It will encourage strong armament and it stinks.

In light of Apple's strategy, it seems pretty ironic that the same company that once derided the PC world as thinkers authoritarian group straight out of Orwell is curve at this level to get its users to conform to his version of the future.  What the * happened to "Think Different"?

Good question, I guess, and I can only opine; as you know, we are here just volunteers.

The question is... when a company changes its products.   As I see it, different operating systems have developed over the years at a huge pace, such that cannot not could be foreseen four years ago.   So the Magic Mouse 1 was fine for the moment but did not have the ability to adapt to meet the current needs.     So what does Apple?   It must be a new mouse that will respond to current needs and anticipate the needs for some time in the future.

You can still buy the old MM1, although you might have to go hunting.   And of course, you can take the old one back if it was purchased less than 14 days ago in most countries and 28 days ago in the United Kingdom and most European countries, I believe.

I hope you get over your troubles.

  • Qosmio G40 - trying to install Magic Mouse

    Hello world

I tried to install the Apple Magic Mouse in Windows 7 using the unofficial UneasySilence driver and can not get the scrolling, only left and right clicks.

Research on the net, it seems to be the kind of a lottery: some wins, some loses; I lost

Did someone get a solution giving me?

    Thanks for the good advice.

    Hello

Well, I doubt it s a Toshiba related question if the mouse or mouse driver doesn t work properly.

I mean if you use drivers not official there is no support for this and you must use the official drivers if available. If you still have problems, you should contact the manufacture of the Magic Mouse.

  • How can I Zoom smoothly with a Magic Mouse in photoshop?

    Hello.

I never use normal mice and zoom has never been a problem. I have always used the scroll to zoom and everything was fine and dandy. But later yesterday my Logitech mouse broke and I upgraded to an Apple Magic Mouse. Everything was great until I opened Photoshop and try to zoom. The scroll to zoom is horribly broken, he jumps out of tiny super zoom to huge, it is impossible to make a precise, smooth zoom.

I use the latest version of PS on a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.8.4 of the retina.

I'd appreciate any help, I work with a lot of very large documents, and my workflow has been seriously slowed down because of this.

Ditto. Zoom chinless is a much more pleasant to navigate IMO way.

  • Share the Magic Mouse 2 without a receipt at the Apple Store?

For my 15th birthday of work my employer allowed me to select a few gifts from our Department order IT online at their provider (CEP).

One of the gifts was a Magic Mouse 2. While I hate the ergonomics of it, I learned to love features scrolling/hit to swipe. But a big problem-

Battery pours into the 2 or 3 days of use and takes about 12 hours to recharge fully.

It's my computer (I use a Macbook Pro 15 "2014, latest version of OS X, linked to a Dell 4 k screen). Because I work remotely and CEP return by my employer service COMPUTER that would be more hassle that it is worthwhile (shipping of the mouse to them, waiting, etc.), I was wondering if I brought to the Apple Store would they look, confirm the battery delivers (by plugging and seeing how slowly it charges) and replace? Or would I need to get a receipt?

First make a phone call to your local Apple store or better yet call and ask them how they want to get.  Take the mouse with you.

They should help, as I'm sure you approach them well.    They may want to a letter from the buyer (your employer) to show that you have in its possession that deserves it.    Material, the mouse has a guarantee that may be served by any Apple store, but this has a lot of warnings from 12 months.

A face to face conversation will probably be your best course of action.

  • Magic Mouse 2 scrolling does not

I have a magic mouse 2 I have installed on my Windows laptop, 10 but I can't get the scrolling to work, I know there is a way to make it work, but I can't seem to get the mining work like everyone else.  I really want to buy a different mouse.  Can someone please help me and give me the steps in lame terms

    Thank you

    Hello, 4kids4me,

The magic mouse 2 has been designed for OS El Capitan of Apple and its successors.  It only works partially with older Apple systems.   I often read Windows users, but they almost always have problems and you will understand, Apple adapt their products for Windows users.

That said, I haven't read more partial workarounds and wonder if the Windows forums could be more productive for you.   Which leads to believe everyone can work with them.

  • Magic Mouse Gestures of 2 does not

I tried almost all the options to remove my old mouse completely and by adding a new to see if there was a conflict between the two.  However, the old mouse shows all options, but does not.

Here are the only options I have for the new Magic Mouse:
