• Attempt to order NI Instrument Simulator to affirm SRQ

  I'm contacting the v2.0 of Simulator OR instrument on a non-Windows using the API of DDK OR-488 platform.

  I was not able to get the Simulator to say SRQ with the sequence of commands, as indicated in the simulator of instruments OR manual (* ESE 01; * SRE 20; * OPC)

  I am able to send the ' * IDN? "query to each primary address 3 and receive a message to identify each of the simulated devices.

  I try to get the DMM to assert SRQ, but devices GPIB simulated will.

  AF first I tried investigating different registry settings, but then I see the SRQ light on the Simulator on and turns off and the variable ibsta would show the SRQI bit being set and deleted later when I sent a query command. So finally, I commented on these queries out of my test code after an initial check that the registers have been established as ordered.

  They gave me the Simulator instruments NOR without the software Assistant, so I think that the box is in its default mode. However, there is no dip-switches on it except for a switch to toggle the value NRML.

  I am able to printf() the ibsta, iberr and return values of the result in the ibcmd(), ibwrt() and ibrd() calls that I do in my test code, so all suggestions about what else in the API OR - 488 DDK in the controls of the Simulator or the simulator of lights that could provide me with more information to debug this problem would be appreciated.

  After further experimentation, I determined what the problem was. I had previously removed the prefix "0 x" registry values when you set the ESE and SRE registers, otherwise I would get a "command error' in ESR." Although I still consider these values as hex Simulator instruments them interpreted as decimal. So now, when I send the * SRE 32' the simulator of the instrument is what I wait for him.

  Which again raises the (minor) issue of why I had problems with the prefix "0 x". I tried ' FORMREG HEX' to see if that command, which causes the query to be returned in hexadecimal format, results also influenced the simulator of the analysis of the registry value in the command but still no joy. However, since I have a workaround, I'm moving.

  Hello, I just finished the LabVIEW Core1 online training, that came with the purchase of LabVIEW 2014. I am VERY new in the world of NEITHER. I bought a Simulator Instrument OR model No. 183913C-01 Rev: 1. I am trying to establish communication with this Simulator and not having much luck. I connect the Simulator to my laptop via RS232 to USB Keyspan peripheral, because my laptop is not a serial connection port. It shows to be on Com4. I think I put the dip-switches correctly. I switch 8 G Mode value and GPIB address the value 2 (switch 2 is activated, all the others are off). I searched online for a demonstration, but nothing have mounted. I found a few messages Simulator here but they were not the model I have. I don't know if I should use GPIB or serial connection for this thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Dark theme is used by default for Q10 because it has OLED that consumes more energy with bright display theme.

  You can force the same pattern for both devices in bar - descriptor.xml, but this is not recommended.

• Behavior of virtual keyboard - Simulator version 0.9.1

  I have problems with the virtual keyboard. Sometimes it grows my application upwards, sometimes it covers only half of my application, but I don't know what will be the actual behavior of the device.

  Can someone please clarify whether the keyboard will indeed push to the top of your application?  Otherwise, I'll have to build something that moves "the fold" top text boxes

• Old Instrument NOR Simulator

  Hi all. I have an OLD NI instrument Simulator. It is so old, that I'm not still able to use the NI instrument Simulator Wizard. I called for the support and the technician was more useful however, whenever I run the wizard, it opens and alarm that reads "there was an error in location of the simulator of the Instrument OR." Make sure that the equipment is connected to this computer and in Setup mode. I have the 38-page manual that goes to this device. Simulator model number is #183913C-01. I am able to use NI MAX and use VISA Open Test Panel and run commands from there. The challenge is, I have to enter each command, whenever I want to use. I was hoping someone here knows these older model simulators. I posted a question here when I first bought the unit but was not familiar with the operation of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I updated a game of mine to make it compatible with BB10 previously only moving on PlayBook. I was informed that it was rejected because only under OS 10.0.9. 1675 is not make properly. I can not find anywhere the image of this Simulator version. The latest version of Simulator, I could find was OS 10.0.9. 1673 and renders correctly.

  As I have no access to a physical device of dev A BB10 does anyone know where to find the correct (OS 10.0.9.1675) image of Simulator?

  As far as I know 10.0.9.1673 is the last Simulator. There is just a version mismatch of name that you should be ignorant. Basically, 1673 is 1675.

  I am convinced that Flight simulator is not intended to be run on a 64-bit computer that is very disappointing. I have a program which should install without all the aggravation I had to endure. If you run them 64-bit machines do not buy this product. I tried since it first came out. I feel at the moment where I get it going it will be a version dated date out. Wait until there is a version dedicated 64-bit, you will save yourself a lot of grief. I have an Asus dual core Centrino 2, 2.6 GB h. computer laptop with 4 GB memory. I install my DVD direct program. It worked when the computer is a 32-bit computer.

  What finally worked for me when I tried to install MSFSX Gold Edition has been that I copied the disc 1 FS to my office.  Then I copied the contents of the FS 2 disc and put the files in the same folder.  When're asked you if you want to replace the files with the same name on both drives say no.  It seemed to work well for me when nothing else did.

  I haven't read of anyone doing this exactly, it's my own invention/workaround bit AFAIK. Hope this works for all of you who cannot make it work otherwise.

  I don't know if the problem is related, but I was also impossible to install the download: security for microsoft .net 1.1 SP1 framework update...   I was getting this error too, very annoying how little info is given.

  In the end, I think it was my application using google maps library led me to have the error.

  I found that by changing the android emulator I used "Google APIs" (which is required for a mapview?) to "Android 2.3.3", which I think BB recommend. When I tried to run my application on android, I got an error 'missing shared library '... Remove libraries mapview, then he ran on BB playbook.

  The problem is that the Simulator is trying to display the main screen.  I saw this happen if you change the screen resolution.

  -Right-click on the Simulator in the taskbar

  -Select move

  -Then use your keyboard arrows to reintegrate the Simulator view

  You are on a virtual private network? If so make sure you get off it.

  Are you on Windows or Mac?

  You can try instead of NAT network bridge and see if VMWare gets you an IP as your host computer, which should have access to the internet.

  of what happened in the past, applying a specific width and height to a sprite will cause a resize to all his children. so get out those lines:
