  I can't find a way to select chunks of text in the program of Quickoffice Quickword. Anyone know if it is still possible, and if so, what is the trick?

  I just press and hold the screen, then a menu appears. Then choose select text and move the circles where you want to start and end your selection.

• If we are forced to use QuickOffice?

  I want to try Google Docs, but it seems that it is impossible to choose to use it. With Adobe PDF I had to move the folder my documents on the disk storage on board so that it can find PDFs. Google Docs says that it cannot find any files stored on the drive. (Internal or SD) If I go to file and open the folder my documents and try to open a .doc it does not give me a choice, what program to use even after clearing Quickoffice in the manage applications menu. The area clear of defaults is grayed out as well.

• Help! Accidentally deleted QuickOffice, how to reinstall?

  Then I have updated my QuickOffice yesterday to get the fix for editing the document. For some reason, the application wouldn't start later and so I deleted the homepage thinking I could just download again from the HP App catalog. It is not listed in the catalog and I can't use the Manager software or anything else to install it again. I searched on google and this forum for a solution, but unfortunately, it seems that I might be the only one with this problem. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Is it possible to just reformat my touchpad to its original content?

  Hi speedtouch.

  Thank you for your response. So I chatted with a Deputy through the HP support site and it asked me to back up my Apps/data and then erase through the Info of the device. After restarting my device, all applications including QuickOffice have been restored. I've also updated to the new version and can edit documents. Everything is back to normal!

• Why can't I see my downloads in the downloads folder? (Android 4.2.1 Jellybean)

  I just got the new Google Nexus 4 and turned mobile Firefox as my main browser, but I recently discovered a problem. When I download a file (such as a PDF) out of a site to read with quickoffice Android, no file will in app downloads Android. I assumed that the file was only bring bring temporarily a file downloaded for a while from view but when I tried this same process with mobile Chrome, has been in the application of downloads. I installed a third party for the browser on my phone and looked into the downloads folder, it showed for my phone and discovered the files I was downloading with Firefox in it. It seems that Firefox does not display the files downloaded in the download provided with Android application which is a problem because it means that without a third party for the browser, you can not get rid of them. (Petty for sizes but they eventually fill your storage of phones). A download folder is provided with Firefox? Downloads is visible in the application downloads stock?

  Using stock download required additional permissions. We didn't add the following permission to the app.

  Allows the application to download files via the download manager without any notification to the user.

  Downloads can be viewed using a file browser. Personally, I like OI File Manager as it is exactly what I need and nothing more.

  I had a nexus 7 (android 4.4.2) with hp service plugin pre-installed. I had a wifi hp officejet 6700 printer connected via wifi.

  I had a word (.doc) document in QuickOffice. I click the button print in QuickOffice and he has shown the Sub screen (link below), except that all the elements (copies, paper size) and the 'Print' button is grayed out that does not allow me to change or clicked.

  The application of HP printing service. Return to the Google game store and reinstallHP app Printing Service again. It should work.

  If it isn't, the HP ePrint app can be the only option that is currently available, which will work with your device.

  I use the print application all-in-one for my HP Slate Pro 8 product loan.

  TruNote is app developed by Toshiba and it should still be preinstalled on the tablet. Usually, it can not be removed from Tablet

• Working on powerpoint slides with exciting write

  Hi people,

  Proud owner of a tablet with exciting write to little more than 1 month I am trying to gradually transfer most of the tasks that I perform to work on my Windows PC to my Tablet while I no longer need to carry this huge 17-inch screen when they travel!

  E-mail and note-taking are a blessing, but still have a major problem with powerpoint slides.

  Whether QuickOffice ot ThinkFree, I can't find a way to consolidate the multiple. PPT presentations into a single presentation using these Office Android apps.

  I tried Thinkfree support but their response was a joke :(

  Sorry mate but I put t know what assistance you expect exactly here in the forum.
  Android applications are not developed by the manufacturers of tablets.
  Some are preinstalled on the shelves, but most of them you will find in Google PlayStore and making the app is responsible for the functionality of the application and development.

  It seems that thinkfree mobile provides little other office applications:

  Also in the Google game shop, you will find other Android apps with office functionality and other features.
  Maybe you should check out and try the apps like OfficeSuite 7, Quickoffice Pro or Kingsoft Office

  I think that tablets are very useful devices supports lots of features and in different applications, you could do a good job, but my personal opinion the table will not replace a laptop completely.

  I was what an email in my Gmail account had it attachments. All ready to use QuickOffice, I typed "see # attachments." Now, where they went for me to retrieve and view them? They are not in the "Recent Documents" within OuickOffice.

  Hello

  The attachment in your gmail account that you have downloaded and viewed using quickoffice will not appear in the "recent documents" in quickoffice. If you return to your Gmail on the device, you will see that the accessory is available for opening no download.

  You can long 'hold' on the attachment. This will give you 3 options - 'View', 'Save' and 'Action '. If you choose the option 'Save', the attachment is get recorded on the SD card in the "Messaging" folder on the SD card (memory). From there, if you use quickoffice to open the document on the SD card, it will appear under "recent documents" folder. Hope that helps.

  I've updated ICS recently updated on my motorola razr maxx. I added a file in my Quicksheet. Lately my apps Quicksheet and Quickpoint crash as soon as I open them. I get "Unfortunatley Quickoffice has stopped working" crash message. Not there at - it no way to reset the application? or re-install the app? Otherwise, these so what can I do? I don't want to buy game-store quickoffice

  Hi people, has found the solution to this, but perhaps not the reason. For all those whose fast office force closes, uncheck the box "force GPU rendering" in the options for developers.

  I disabled some unwanted system such as the Motorola Migrate and QuickOffice app application which I don't use. I would ask, what do I have to activate the app before software update.   You can turn on or off. When an upgrade of the software install through recovery he cares not if any application is in the enabled or disabled state. Upgrade will perform all their action in his script. So, it doesn't matter.

  Why won't the Xoom browser allow me to select and format text in documents in Google Docs (in desktop mode)? I hate the fact that it default to mobile versions.

  Yes that helps a little. Just to be sure, I was clear on what I wanted to, I was wondering if it was imperative that a browser was imperative. With respect to documents, if a 3rd party app or browser allows you to manipulate your documents of * me * is unimportant as long as I can do

  In any case, this is what I've tried so far, the stock browser, firefox mobile, Dolphin and skyfire (although I normally do not trust any browser that sends data through its own server first then back out you especially if the document information is sensitive), and they are all mainly display the same behavior... However, I think the fact that there is that no actual pointing device is what is the real problem. With this in mind, I think that, however, any browser would be problematic.

  I also tried it on my iPad and have the same problem as with other browsers, as I do in the mobile Safari browser. Again, I think that the problem is not have a pointing device to see the real highlight of the text on each device.

  I'm still poking around well, but I think that the options are limited at this point Jim. That brings up another point, although several steps into play in 3rd party apps, I have not found it is HORRIBLE when using or Quickoffice or ThinkFree, D2G, when it comes to database formatting... circumspect, (at least for me) it becomes a replacement mobile phone but with a learning curve. I recognize, someone somewhere along the line has a much more intuitive solution for tablets Honeycomb based.
