Trust of signatures not recognized

A bit of history...

This implementation of an organization using Acrobat X. We have about 20 signatories, all must sign and have their signatures appear as valid for all users. Windows 7.

At present, our process is as follows. We go to each computer and create a signature. We take the .fdf file and place it on a shared drive. This .fdf file is then added to all trust signatures and certificates.

This is the problem... I've tested this and even if I had the trust signer .fdf file in my approved identities, he said "at least a signature has problems".

So I have two questions. 1. what could be the cause?  2. is there an easier way to get 20 certificates secure on all trusted list of how we?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I need more information on how to configure your environment for signature.

You have purchased certificates from a certificate authority signature (one or more), or you have created a certificate self-signed for each signatory?

If you purchased your certificate to a CA, you must place into approved only identities the root certificate of the certification authority.

If you self-signed certificates, then, Yes, you must place each of them on each machine that validates these signatures as self-signed certificates have no common root. I suggest to use export instead of FDF Acrobat security settings. You add all the certificates to identities approved on a single machine, then settings security to export (only approved identities) acrobatsecuritysettings file, send this file to each employee who then uses the function import security settings to import this file. This will get all certificates to be added to the approved identities. This is a unique process. Of course, if you get a new employee, you will have to repeat the process.

In security settings Import/Export Acrobat X is in Tools-> sign certifies & more-> sign & certify. In Acrobat XI, is in Edit-> preferences-> Security.

    Hello pamelafromsonora,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

According to your post, I see that your new iPod nano is not recognized by iTunes on your Windows PC, and you cannot scroll through the settings of the clock on your iPod. I know how it is important to ensure that you can connect your iPod to your computer/iTunes and use all the features. I'll be more than happy to help you with this.

Use the article If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod and follow these steps to see if iTunes recognizes the device, specifically these sections:

When iTunes on your computer doesn't recognize not the connected device, follow these steps. Try again after each step:

    2. Check that you have the latest version of the software on your Mac or your Windows PC.
    3. Make sure that your device is turned on.
    4. If you see a trust this computer alert, unlock your device and press trust. If you still see the alert, you may need to reset your lockdown folder.
    5. Unplug all accessories USB from your computer except for your device. Try every USB port to see if it works. Then try another USB Apple cable.
    6. Restart your computer and your iPhone, iPad or iPod.
    7. To see if your device needs service, try another computer. If you have the same problem again, contact The Apple support.

    Notes:

The DVD player is NOT appear in Device Manager, OR in this PC.

The DVD drive is NOT detected by diagnostics system UEFI.

There is reference to the DVD in BIOS drive NUMBER , other than as an option of Setup, which is generic.

The DVD player itself, works and has been verified on a different machine.

The only possible conclusion is that the optical drive port mini-SATA on the motherboard is dead.

  • iPhone, iPad Air 2 not recognized by iTunes

Very frustrated right now. Given that Apple's Support is not in contact with return despite requests, the story will go here. I have Windows 10, iPhone 6 + and iPad Air 2. Last weekend I was invited to and did pass to iTunes 12.5.1.21. Plugged my iPhone 6 +. Not recognized by iTunes; 'sync' gray. Tried the same thing with my iPad 2 Air. Same result. I get no error message.  Here are my troubleshooting - what I'm missing, Apple?

    1. Lightning card Checked, works fine with other devices.
    2. Rebooted PC.
    3. Rebooted IPhone.
    4. Restarted iPad Air 2.
    5. I've tried different start up sequences (start iTunes connect manually; first)
    6. Went to 'Upgrade device via Device Manager' - these devices are working properly.
    7. Updated my iPhone and iPad 2 air for iOS 10 successfully.
    8. Apple email support; 48 hours later they gave me another email address for contact.
    9. Chose the Contact Apple Support via phone option - screen "we will call you - your phone will ring at any time.  Still waiting for the phone to ring.
    10. From Discussions on Apple's site with troubleshooting tips, have tried all suggestions with no luck - If iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod - Apple Support.
    11. I even opened and closed the blinds completely throughout my house to see if that would help.  Go figure.
    12. The last resort on them, says "Contact Apple support" - see #9 above.  Twice.

Apple-Support - What should I do at this point?  I'm all ears, and Android is looking better and better during my next upgrade.

Happy to report that I finally found a position that has fixed this. Someone has to give Community contributor turingtest2 a price, they had an incredible post in communities that have corrected my problem.  See below for the excellent suggestions.

Try opening the iPhone before connecting to Windows. If the film is not empty, then the device should be listed in Windows Explorer. If it still does not show try to restart the computer and the device, and then try again. If it does not show more in iTunes then try iOS device is not showing in iTunes for Windows.
