try to check if a file already exists on the disk using fileExists

All, Hy
I'm trying to check if a file already exists on the disk in my action script.
I found this link on fileExists:

link

So I tried somethink like this in my code, but to no avail...

If (fl.fileExists ("queue: / / / C: / foo.txt"))
{gotoAndPlay (2) ;}}
on the other
{gotoAndPlay (3) ;}}

Is this not the right syntax?

Thank you for your help.

John,
No I did not build the application of the swf with Mprojector. So I try with it.

Looks like I'm not able to do that just use Flash Pro 8. I need to use a program like Mprojector to create an application and use its own functions.

Thanks for your help.

  • Files already exist when reconnecting probably missing files

I'm fighting to clean up hundreds of files in my database of the PSE Organizer.

Whenever I launch reconnect it all the command (or any other command that requires a reconnection first), PSE locates a large group of likely the missing files. Dialogue to "Reconnect missing files" of the PSE shows me the former location of the files. I navigate to this place and find files always there. I then select the file and press on reconnect. Unfortunately, then I get an error that says: "the file already exists in the catalog. This clears the problem of file missing for the moment. However, when I run another missing file check, he'll still find these same files. I tried to plug back them several times but PSE continues to tell me that they must be reconnected but still know where the files are located.

I have already run a database repair (no not found errors).

I also ran an optimization of database without problem.

    Some system information:

    • Win7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
    • Dell XPS computer i7
    • 6 GB of RAM. > 350 GB of free space on hard drive
    • PSE 12... but also had the same problem on PES 11. I've updated hoping that the problem would be solved. It wasn't.

Thanks for any help to eliminate this problem for me.

    -Bruce

I solved my problem... even if I don't know what caused it or why Adobe program didn't fix for me.

The "missing" entries that have been highlighted were all the duplicate entries. Adobe will not allow a duplicate in the same physical file entry. I deleted all of the offending entries and it cleared my problem. I hope this solution helps others.

You must give the full path and name of the standby database controlfile as

alter database create standby controlfile as
    'D:\Oracle\product1\10.2.0\test\standbycf.ctl'

  • Workbench Adobe to record errors: assets already exists / file already exists

Workbench from Adobe for the payment of the my_server gives errors: "Could not create the asset because the asset already exists ' and/or 'file already exists in the Bank with this name.  How is - a workaround?

This seems to happen especially when I change the user/workbench configuration connection / "mode" etc.

    If worst comes to worst:

Save relevant directories to the path of the directory to completely separate windows backup.

Delete all subfolders of workbench LC (all below the 1.0 Roadmap).

    Restore the backup path directories.

    It ALWAYS seems to work.

did I miss something... If UAT currently exist, but I've done it ttdestroy before the restore process

    TXS

The message is clear; the data store already exists. Although you did a ttDestroy, maybe something or someone connected to the DSN once you had destroyed it and before executing the restore? If so then the data store would have been recreated...

You can check if the data store is using ttStatus. If the store is listed by ttStatus, then it exists.

It seems that we should check for the primary database log files cross.

This then check out a new attempt of physical creation process... I will update the discussion with the results... (Hope that would solve the problem).

  • Cannot create a file when that file already exists

When I try to use Photoshop filters: Adaptive Grand Angle, Shake Reduction and fluidity. An error pops up saying "cannot create a file when that file already exists".

Just a detail: the Liquify Filter jump to the top of the error immediately, the error occurs just after I press the 'ok' button to accept the changes.

I have already tried resetting preferences, tried to reinstall the PS, the PS update, download (and install) the last to my pc drivers.

My Pc to adapt to all the requirements, have the version of openGL: 3.0

I also have Photoshop CS5 installed, in which the Liquify Filter works perfectly.

Here I have two print, what it looks like:

The first picture is just before a click of Wide Angle "Adaptive".

    PS 1.jpg

The second is just after I clicked it

    PS 2.jpg

If you could help me, I thank you already wasting time you, read this!

If the 32 KB file is named 'Plugins', I recommend you remove it.

Error code 6 can come in many cases like:

-subtitle area is larger than the title safe area in the monitor window

-Engraving with big psd file in slide show

-If the name of the disc is empty

-burning a slideshow without pan and zoom or transition with H264 parameters

-bit rate is too high and subtitles are there too

-It may also be the case where there is a difference in the length of the video and audio track in the timeline

You can try one of these. But these are just possibilities I know. Might work for you.

    Thank you

  • Server 2008, XP roaming profiles and "cannot create a file when that file already exists"...

    Hi all

I'm working on a Server 2008 domain with XP SP3 clients.  The question is: create a new user, their profile is \\server\profiles\%username% [where %nom user % is their new username!].  Security on the profile folder is set so that the administrators have full access and the user has read & execute, list folder content, read and write access.

The user is able to login ok there is no problem with roaming profiles [otherwise, they would get a message on with a temporary profile loading] which suggests, but when they disconnect they get a message saying that some files could not be created [it varies], followed by "cannot create a file when that file already exists".

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the Windows server on TechNet forum. Please ask your question in the Forums in TechNet Windows Server.

Why when saving a file already existing AI cs6 is acting like I am registering for the first time? Assume that the file is called file.ai - when I'm working on that and go: Cmmand record - he said: ' replace file1.ai? I don't want to replace - simply record. What happens to me every few weeks in artificial intelligence. And it is a file that was NOT an older file - as I posted this Q once first before - and got no answer. There are a few rules of trade more that you need to consider.

Do not forget that there are synonyms both PUBLIC and PRIVATE.

Just because there is a synonym of a given name does NOT mean it's the only one who tries to create a given user. If a user tries to create a synonym private, you need see if the OWNER and the NAME, the two match.

What is a user issuing a CREATE or REPLACE for their own private synonym? Is this OK or who need help also?

  • Do not take a snapshot - file already exists

I'm taking a snapshot on a virtual computer and receive a "file already exists question."

If I look at the structure of the computers folder virtual there are non - 0000.vmdk which I guess means there are no snapshots.

However, I see a lot of vmsn files, probably 20 of them.

NetBackup fails this virtual machine every night, that's how I picked up the snapshot cannot be created

    Help, please

In my view, only the Delta file is the question. Durning an instant creation, that this file is created, after deleting this file should be gone.

Then when it tries to create this file when snapshot, he sees already exist and so give the error "the file exists."

Somehow this file gave me, but you can delete this file and all the files of vmsn.

Please allow points if you find this useful/correct

  • Operation failed because the file already exists

    Hello

I have a quick question and I don't know how to fix it.

I used VMWare vCenter to migrate and existing virtual machine, he got stuck and failed.

I went to Virtual Infrastructure delete the virtual machine but for some reason still exist some files and I see the files allocated for this purpose.

I tried to migrate it again and I get the following error

Operation failed because the file already exists

    Cannot create disk virtual /vmfs/volues/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/FreeBSD/FreeBSD.vmdk

How can I manually delete this file (s)?

    Thank you

    Paulo

Is it possible that I can manually delete these files?

One way is using the data store browser (right click on the data store and select Browse).
