  You apparently Forefront security or installed Microsoft Security Essentials. If this is the case, you can not install Windows Defender. MSE already has an element antispyware anyway.   It has nothing to do with where you live. You are on a 32-bit system and LR CC is only available in 64-bit, so CC provides the previous version. It is that easy. You can read the system requirements and then act accordingly.

• Why am I getting messages of "not responding"?

  I'm on an IBM Thinkpad T42, which was later made as it crashed. He haqd was working well betai rather slow.   I have about 50 mailboxes to iCloud. Of these 50, there is suddenly a half-dozen who does not accept messages, I'm trying to drop.   Try to activate the market account: settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars, and then tap the account on the right, drag the mail to 'off', the output parameters, return in the Mail application, and then return to the settings and drag the mail back to 'on '.

  Player cannot export data from form unless the document has been activated with the use of import/export of straight form with LiveCycle Reader Extensions. Acrobat cannot activate the document with this right of use.

  You must be logged on to Windows by using an administrator account to install and use Guided Help, and you need to run Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Media Center Edition or Windows XP Edition Tablet PC.

The extra ram was supposed to solve the problem, then the new hd was again to solve the problem, the new hd has been installed with the installation disc I made when I bought this computer. I tried to reinstall the original 512 mb memory stick with out any luck to solve the problem. Something that I double click on causes the CPU to go to 100% and stay there for a long time. I'm short security suite norton for free protection for subscribers of comcast. someone said that my comp. can run a maximum of 512 MB per slot. There are (2) locations so I took my wife 521 MB of sound ho pavilion a610n and added to my 512 MB for a total of 1 GB and it works still slow.

  You did buy more, and a faster memory that your computer HP support (see specifications), but this probably isn't what is causing your computer to run slowly.

  When you used the "Setup disk" that you had created, restore your computer to the State wherever it was when you first bought it?

  • If so, the computer run faster for any period of time before slowing down again?
  • If so, did you uninstall all the trial software that had been installed at the plant, including in particular any Norton, McAfee or other tests of security software?

  Other Norton product, have you any other security software (antivirus, antimalware, firewall, etc.) that works all the time (that is, do not count a scanner that only runs when you start specifically)?

  You can consider (temporarily) disconnected the computer from the Internet and completely uninstall Norton (operating instructions and there removal tool--> https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?lg=english&ct=united+states&docid=20080710133834EN&product=home&version=1&pvid=f-home), then see if your performance is improved.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  Make sure that you install from the site of Microsoft Silverlight Web listed here.
  The latest version of Silverlight is a Silverlight 4 version 4.0.50401.0.

  There should be a signed version and should install successfully.

  If you still have problems you can go on Internet Explorer and change some settings for the unsigned Editor.
  Go to IE, tools, internet options. Then click on the Advanced tab uncheck 'Allow the software to install even if the signature is not valid.' and uncheck the "Check for signatures on downloaded software." Then restart IE. Try again to install Silverlight. If it is installed correctly, go back and check you the boxes unchecked and restart IE.
