  I've got Premiere Pro CS6 and I started testing the use of x 264 with Dxtory. The problem I encounter is that the film is incompatible with any suite preset (AFAIK) apart from the AVC-Intra 100 (AVC-Intra 100 1080 p 30 fps is the one I am using). However when I use this preset all Preview gives me a black screen so that the audio is played perfectly. It is not urgent, because it is always possible to simply convert the movie to MP4 with Handbrake, however not being is not able to use this codec would be a shame, especially since I've seen others use it without any problem at all.

  Okay, I tweaked around and I'm happy to say that I have to work. It's really simple, all you have to do is go into the settings of codec on Dxtory for x264vfw and set the FourCC to x 264 and the GOP (Min and Max) to 1. It is not an obvious solution, so I hope that the one who has problems with this managed to find this thread

• Since the last CC Pro first update no more MXF AVC-Intra 100 class reading. Any suggestions?

  I updated to first Pro CC two hours ago, and since then, there is no reading in real time more of my videos 1080 p AVC-Intra Class100 MXF, which worked perfectly bevore. When paused, it shows the current image of the sequence after about 10 seconds. Anyone else has this problem or are there any suggestions that I can do?

  Please try to clean the media cache files. Also, try to reset the preferences of Premiere Pro.

  I have the camera generated MXF (OP1a) wrapped AVC Intra 100 files with the following specifications.  I want to wrap (preferarbly QT or MP4) gasoline but cannot find a setting in Media Encoder that will allow me to keep 10 bit 4:2:2.  Using 'Match Source' transcode to 8 bit 4:2:0.  Pointers to documentation or suggestions will be appreciated.  I have CC PP v10.3.

  It does not exist.  To get 10 bit 4:2:2, H.264, AVC-Intra, which comes only in the MXF container you need.  (What is the best of the three you mention, by the way.)  Why the desire to change something not as good?)

  Hi I use a setup of camera hpx-250 for stroke - i 50 720 first CS5.5 P. This is my first time to import P2 in first, then I'll try just about anything to get the create ignore Audio channels 3 & 4 importation of media browser or by using the Edit command / Audio channels or on the darn camera menu

  No luck with one of the methods. There is no option in the audio setup of the camera menu or audio switches to let me turn off ch3 and ch4, I set it up to record channels 1 & 2 for a unique stereo mix. It worked fine on my AVCHD video that did not have a 3rd and 4th channel.

  Media browser offers no audio import option that I see.

  New installation sequence to set up a stereo track (default 4 mono tracks) but nothing else.

  Change the Audio channels screen is removed and doesn't let me make all the changes that I can tell, but it looks like the place to do it, if he'd let me. Ugh!  Any other ideas, I don't think everything would be great. Thank you!

  Looking at export options (2015.2) I used preset

  MXF OP1a, AVC-Intra class 100 1080 50 p

  Someone knows if I chose the right one, or is there a better?

  I'm afraid that audio description is simply 2 channels uncompressed - there is no mention of a codec.

  This preset gives 4:2:2 encoding - or where I can get a description full of what offer presets?

  Any ideas?

Problem persisted. McAfee can tell me nothing.  At the suggestion of Dell, I replaced the hard drive.  Reinstalled Windows mfg disk and could connect to the internet just fine w/out of antivirus software.  Installed McAfee and locked up again.  McAfee is baffled by this, as is Earthlink.  When I tried the Earthlink software, I received the following message before the computer locked: RAS error Interactive Mode #703. EarthLink told me that there is a "Windows problem in common.  If anyone can help?

     Then a few solutions that worked is to install and erarlier version of iTunes as there have been some problems with version 10.

     If you work with Microsoft supports a call, it would be better to continue with this support.

     Otherwise, I would contact Apple for support of iTunes.

  I know its something like that when Explorer attempt to generate the preview of this video file, then it happened.

  It is indeed a problem with the preview generator.  It relies on any installed video codecs installed on your system to process video images and build a miniature.  If you have recently installed a video or multimedia software, you can try to uninstall it, or by using the system restore to roll back.

  Similarly, you can try to install different software.  The K-Lite Mega Codec pack has been around for a while and is quite popular.  After you install, your system can play almost any file (sweet bonus tip: media player uses codecs found so: after installing it, you can even play Real Audio or QuickTime files inside Windows Media Player).
