Try to run the update to Windows XP. Had a complete crash of the PC and XP complete recharge after format. Could not downlaod updates XP then reloaded without format. Still can not download updates.
Sorry about the title full, never used this site before
Complete computer "meltdown" MB had failed. put spare MB in and loaded win XP - PRO after format. Could not downlad win updates. Depc 0x8024400A error.
Reload XP - Pro without format hoping to fix the problem. No luck.
Need help badly.

I am able to download the programs from other sources.
I can't download the "Fixit" program as it equires SP3 and I'm to SP2.
I tried the manual method and Thatcher did not. I'll try the "aggressive" mode tomorrow (7/5) and if that doesn't work I'll
seriously considered returning on Win2K.
and then again loaded WinXP SP2 and I can not even do Windows updates.
First, install the drivers necessary for the computer after reinstalling XP SP2. Then install the SP3 package after you a stand-alone download of SP3 Installer from this link:
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=24
Once SP3 is installed, try Windows Update. If it still does not work, or if the SP3 installation fails, you should get some messages or error codes. Post back with the error code.

What version of Mac OS do you have? I guess it's 10.6.8 which is not supported by the App Builder. You need to update to a newer version of Mac OS.

The network printer is connected to a XP computer?
Are either using a 64-bit version of Windows?I suggest visiting the manufacturer's Web site to see if they have Windows 7 drivers or at least Vista drivers.
I also propose to sign in as an administrator to install the printer.

TI help says that the installation program has been altered. Back I'm going to see if I can download it again and get a clean version.
Thank you, Jeff. It was a problem of corruption .exe. Downloaded a clean and install will now fine, no error message on the rights or any other issue.

OK... I downloaded a free program and now when I try to access my Lastpass safe a page comes up with an oops can't find. The tab on the page has the word Chrome. Now, chrome has been loaded download free even if I ticked the box don't not to do this. I uninstalled Chrome, but it is still somehow in my browser. How di I get rid of this pest?

If you do not see such an error then indicates that generally the there is a problem with an extension.

RUM could not download updates for CC AUSST 2015.5
I recently deployed cc 2015.5. We have some updates once my deployment was built. I ran the RUM on a few machines and always, it fails to download the same updates. I have a local AUSST, I rebuilt the server with the option - fresh options and it didn't help. Here's the log of RUM. Y at - there something I'm missing.

When I try to run the update in widows I get the error number: 0x8024400A. I also tried to restart the automatic update service and BITS service with no luck. Any ideas? I am running Windows XP SP2 on a Dell Latitude. I lost a hard drive and just reinstalled today of a disc from Dell.

I get startup repair screen when I try to boot my laptop Dell Inspiron windows 7, I run the scan and detects any errors. So, I tried to use a USB repair for a laptop Dell Latitude Windows 7 pro and I still can't the computer to start. Tried to restore to the factory settings, can not. I have no image, backups, all missing, restore points?
After that I tried to launch the USB repair I got 0x400110020000100A error code and I received error (0x8007027E) indicating the device will not start without a reboot.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm not computer illiterate, but am not pro either. Just use them not program them or even understand all languages!

If I remember correctly, I looked in MS-DOS mode and noticed that it said something like "x: win...» "that seemed strange to me because I thought that it should say"c: victory... "but as I said I am not a computer wiz so if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.
I'm about to rip the hair off my head with my laptop. My latitude was blue planned, surprisingly I fixed it (don't ask how, you couldn't tell). Then my dell inspiron would not start right after my dell latitude fell out of my truck and landed on the sidewalk, wanted to kill the person, the screen is broken. I can use it but it is very difficult, see a mosquito net and not perfectly clear, works well. lol someone knows somewhere or that would install a new screen for a reasonable price? I live in the Boston area.

You can use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows recovery environment (Windows RE) to troubleshoot and repair the following items in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
- A master boot record (MBR)
- A boot sector
- A Boot Configuration data (BCD) store
Note: When you are troubleshooting startup issues by using the Windows RE, you should first try the Startup Repair option in the System Recovery Options dialog box. If the Startup Repair option does not resolve the problem, or if you must troubleshoot more steps manually, use the Bootrec.exe

Please follow these steps:

- Type chkdsk c:\ at the flashing prompt to launch the utility Chkdsk. replace c:\ with the letter of the drive that you want to run the Chkdsk utility. If the hard drive is d:\, then type that instead.
- After the "chkdsk c:\. "insert \f command to fix errors on the disk volume or the \r to recover bad sectors and then press ENTER.
- Restart the computer once the chkdsk command has completed.
Note: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive, it attempts to repair this sector, if all available on which data may be lost.

auggi, when I got back on my colleague's PC, I thought I would test to see if the feature didn't always before considering saving data dumps etc, and it worked fine!
I left it overnight with instructions for the lady who uses the PC to test this morning and see if it's all workers, and it is still, it seems that the fix does not immediately solve the problem of browser, but there later - maybe after a second reboot or something... very strange!
In all case, this matter can now be considered closed, so all that remains for me to say thank you very much for your help, you are amazing :)

I am setting up a new laptop and downloaded Acrobat Pro XI for Windows computer. Download and install seemed to go fine, but when I try to run the program, it is coming in a few other locales (not French_FR). What should I do to configure the program for the locale in the United States?
(running Setup 3 times (to fix, modify, uninstall/reinstall), but so far nothing has worked.) Even after uninstalling/reinstalling (where I deselected the local Korean), the program still continues to flow upwards in an alternate reality!

So I tried to get this to work at least for a day now, but whenever I try to launch my new game I'm away I kept getting this error: "your DirectX Runtime is up-to-date. Download and install this file from Microsoft. ' When I was re-directed I downloaded, it opens and clicks on agreed and all this things, but after 10 seconds initialization, it gave me this error: "Setup could not download the file. Please try again later or check the connection to the network. " I checked all that nothing seemed to be wrong, I did it again and again and again. So I just went to a solution or any news for DirectX. So far, no luck.
I am running on DirectX 11 right now, is if there is a new DirectX or am I a jerk, and that is a different problem? I can't understand it.

That's happened? When trying to download Windows Explorer, a bunch of my files (including web browsers) has been treated by my Acrobat Reader. No idea how or why this has happened. This has also changed the icon for these files (including browsers). Could not change their return. Tried to uninstall and reinstall Acrobat Reader a few times. With Acrobat Reader installed now I can't open my browsers or other files that has changed. With Acrobat Reader uninstalled icons are appropriate and I can open the browsers, but other files may not always be open. What happened, and what I can do to use Acrobat Reader again and also use my browsers and open the other files?
