  It's good to hear - it means that the monitor is OK and that it is compatible with Vista.  It is still unclear on the video card or the motherboard on the computer (or any other problem this computer might have) = but one step at a time.  You have made great strides and ruled out several possible causes that we must now check or test.

  What is the EXACT error message you are getting (Word for Word)?  Which is the key to product, the manufacturer, brand, model and serial number or your computer (I assume it's using the original video card)?  What i the manufacturer, brand and model of the new monitor?

  Even if you could get the Microsoft drivers (which I don't think you can), you should take them to the device manufacturer or the manufacturer of the computer, if they moved on the computer.  They are likely to be more current and have fewer problems.  And you want drivers, firmware and software necessary or required by the device (they will be either the list which is available or you can ask for help and they should direct you to what you need).  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you shouldget to the monitor, the video card and the motherboard and all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   Sorry about all this info, just want to provide as much as possible help to identify any problems.

  PROBLEM-

  My TV displays a picture of sorts however we jumpy/fragile & show three (vertical) versions of the same image on my TV.  Black & white, its sometimes a offline.

  I have the wires on connected TV where I got my Wired Xbox, the option on my TV to input is the component, when I turn on my laptop & the entry has the value component that I see the image on the screen & clearer, however, after logging in screen disappears & said that there is no signal.  The only way I can see anything either again is by ctrl, alt & del.

  If I switch to AV2 on the choice of appetizer menu on my TV, it shows the description of the jumpy/fragile image, ctrl alt del - although the picture improves slightly & is not fragile, its still very black & white & duplicated in three patrs.

  Any help would be appreciated?

  Hello! I try to get a 200-100 AR laser data. I tried to use the analog inputs, and connect it to a MyDAQ. It worked, but there is a lot of noise. Then I tried to connect the laser with a serial cable. See the attachment file. I am able to read data from a chart without noise. The question that the values are quite large compared to when I was with the analog inputs. With analog when the laser was 5 cm distance an object, then it would show about 5 volts on the chart. With serial number, it shows 20.00. I could convert the data by using numeric values, but it doesn't seem fair when the data is not even showing decimals.

  (2) as you get only 1 measure at a time, just use the Fract/Exp function to string number to get your value.  There is an entry on top for 'use decimal system '.  You want to wire a constant FALSE to that since you're apparently using the comma as the decimal point instead of the period who made the instrument.

  To get sound from the HDMI, please activate in sound property.  To do this, press Windows + Q.  That will raise to SEARCH and type in the PANEL.  When Control Panel opens, select SOUND.  When sound property is displayed, right click on AVAMP and on the left, click on SET AS DEFAULT(pic below).  This noise turn sound via HDMI / av receiver system.
