Trying to install LR 6 on Mac, but the Application keeps Manager stop unexpectedly...

Adobe is the most frustrating company trying to do business with. I already have LR 4 and 5 and just bought an upgrade to 6. I downloaded it, and when I try to install on my Mac (with current operating system) it comes out all the way to 99% installed, then everything crashes and gives me an error message saying "Adobe Application Manager quit unexpectedly." I tried to clean my installs Adobe and some other things mentioned in these forums, but nothing helped. Can you get it someone please let me know how to get this product I bought this unsatisfactory company works correctly?

Thank you

Jon
