• Made the switch from the Firefox chrome; now, meeting places and a few videos does not work

  Salvation; I'm wanting to get away from chrome, but in firefox, I can't get the 'hangouts' working in gmail, even if I do not have the googletalkplugin installed on my pc. Another issue I see is that, on some pages, video does not work; in the latest version of chrome, I understand that the flash thing has changed and I guess that firefox has not changed in the same way. I hesitated when downloading a plugin, as shown on the screenshot for fear that it will mess up video in chrome, I would use chrome. I would rather not switch back from firefox to chrome to phone or watch the video. Help, please.

  I asked for help on the hangouts thing before, but your suggestion 'install plugin' was not enough, so I request further assistance on this now. on the video thing, please just tell if I should download the plugin and whether or not it will affect the reading in chrome. Thank you

  Working! I had the talk plugin set to always turn on but I had disabled the video because I only use the phone, but apparently, they both need to be addressed to always activate... Please mark this as resolved and thank you!

  I'll just update that I can't really do anything else. I found several other unanswered questions like mine. I found an answer that mentions that it can be the video card in place, so I'll post a screenshot of my information.

  I posted this question 25 and have not yet received response. Because of this problem of crash, I can't do anything on my computer apart from solitaire game and hang out Adobe communities looking for an answer. I found several issues like mine (Mac, firefox, flash player constantly crashing) who have no answers either, and I'm getting upset. I've been floating around Mozilla and Apple Help sections, and there is no answer there either. How can I get an answer? Or is there just no fix for this problem and Flash player does not work on mac more? Y at - it another program that I can use instead of Flash player? I like a lot to an answer, the answer, or anything cause I've stuck here until then. Thank you for you time.

  What can I do if Flash Player does not work?

  Since last week, Adobe Flash Player did not work on my computer at all. I can't watch videos and a webpage using Flash for accidents of ads.  I tried to use Adblock, thinking at first that the ads were the problem because they froze my computer in the past. There is nothing, so I went through the guide for Flash on the Mozilla Web site problems.  I removed all plugins, disabled acceleration hardware and even uninstalled Firefox and Flash player, then the reinstalled again. Still, it crashes and I don't know what to do anymore.   Is there something that can be done? Thank you for your time.

  • delete the 23.0.0.166 directory
  • launch chrome and go to Flash content
  • it download and install Flash Player, in the same directory of Data\PepperFlash of ~\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User?

  When you reference the Flash card, I assume you mean the utility toshiba Flash Cards. in this case, I would say that you reinstall (i.e., uninstall and then reinstall) relevant Toshiba Value added Package for your laptop model. to locate the relevant Toshiba VAP, visit your regional toshiba driver. This should solve your problem, such as cards Flash requires the installation of files for your Fn + F keys (for example by pressing Fn + F6/F7 fades and lights up the screen), so I think that Vista is looking for solutions as the Fn keys could be involved.
