TV LCD W2607C with the same problem of power W2600

My Dell W2607C LCD TV has even no power problem. I had less than 3 years and have had very good care of it. I stop it after watching some tv to go with dinner. Two hours later I tried to turn it on and I have nothing. Not even a blink on the LCD. Power LED turned blue, then blinked orange.

A week ago, I finally called Dell customer service. Of course, I've been waiting for about 20 minutes. After giving all pertinent information about my Dell 26 '' LCD/TV, the operator (in English very hilly, I might add) guided me through all the troubleshooting steps I had done. None worked troubleshooting.

She tried pulling the line 'contact your cable operator' old, but I told her that the cable is fine cause it is also plugged into a second TV. She then tried to explain since it was out of warranty he could not replace. I did not stay in there and started to explain how Dell sold me a defective product and that I have LCD screens and televisions last more than 2 years and how it was unfair for a loyal customer to treat them that way. She then tried to send me to another service of technical support, but the only difference is they were going to charge me. I said 'No' and then asked his supervisor.

He tried to give the same line on 'out of warranty' and I told him that this is not an uncommon problem and if you google "Dell 26 '' TV does not turn on", he would see that there are a large number of consumers out there with the same problem as me.

He then said, "Oh but the problem you have raised is the 2600 series model not yours, yours is the 2607C.» I answered, without hesitation, "but it is still part of the same series, is - not? And it seems that the same problem was overlooked when they made the one I bought. »

I was told someone to a "higher authority" would contact me, but their calls have been rather erratic and I can't return their calls only leave voicemails. I get emails telling me how they just tried to call and when they say they would call between some time next, I end up wasting time to wait for a call that never comes.

As a last resort, I post here in the hope that I get response and are not facing customers by service script.

I ordered from Dell recently, his good faith. If I'm stuck with a very expensive paperweight, I might as well made my recent purchases and cut all ties with Dell completely.

    I have the same problem. You own an iPhone 6 Plus 2/9. Problems began the next day. Phone took over and got another new. Problems with another brand new! Volume is also impoverished - even when up until the end. Extremely frustrated! Any advice would be appreciated.

  • E3000 with the same problems on & more here, but no expert solution for the 2 main problems

    1 - with regard to support USB connected hard drives that will not transfer data & like to come & go quite often of the view.

    Everything seems like a joke to me, when I read that a lot of people have hard drives USB who worked for a year, & when it stops working or acts upward, we all have a test to see if it connects & works very well on our other connections PC/Laptop & the only advice given, this firmware is upgraded or a list of hard drives that have been tested and work on the E3000.

    2nd - my other problem is that my E3000 now decides of its own to disconnect wireless & cable Communication and then reconnect alone, whenever you feel.

    What makes angry of this problem is that it is abundant in the Forums & I tried all the fixes, but I still have the same problem & sound as good as this device of 2 year, Max is grilled.  As is the case when there is a loose connection that overheated, in what thread or welded metal move when heat is added & move at the time where the heat is removed.

    PROBLEM:

    My touch 1 Maxtor (from the approved list) is connected and playing now you see me & now you don't game.  If I ever try to import or to export any image file or music, the Communication goes & then sometimes will return its own. Working with Game Consoles, when something begins to work intermittently, then it is a hardware problem or software with the device.  It is not a user error, when it worked fine before.

Please give us/me expert advice on how to solve the problem.  If nobody knows the answer, then Cisco/Linksys looks really bad for selling a router high of $$$, being touted for the games and files sharing multimedia home & it only at this stage.  If it should be recalled, will bring up by all means, or come up with a fully functional firmware.

    Thanks again & hope to hear news good & productive, cause I am so tired of playing with this E3000 & will more than likely stay away from your product for any & all future purchases, no matter where you are ranked (E3000 was 3rd & best prices of the top 3 when I bought it).

    Well, I'm here, not having heard an assumption about my problem, but to get an opinion of experts & solution to my problem, but also all other users of the same or very similar problems.

    I am now a HAPPY 'Belkin N600 DB' owner for only $79.99 @ Wal-Mart/Radio Shack. This new does much more than the Cisco E3000 wireless router & even changed my Modem 100 MB (green) flow out of 1000 GB (Amber Light).

    So, so HAPPY now!

  • Cannot "turn on media streaming" - another user of Windows 7 with the same problem and the "suggested correction '' does not.

    This windows bug has been reported and 'responded' before by several people, but the "answers" do not work for me - and they do seem to work for a lot of people in this area and other forums.  I hope you can provide me with a real estate diagnosis, a reason for why this happens and a real solution that works for everyone.

    I'm trying to 'Turn on media streaming' in Windows Media Player so I can listen to my xbox and other home theater equipment.  The problem I have is the same problem as [of] other people have reported: in Windows Media Player, I press the turn on the 'link', the button greys streamin media shortly, but then nothing, and streaming is not enabled.

    I don't have a network problem.  I was able to extend Microsoft Media Center on my xbox.  (simply not enable streaming in WMP).  With media center extended is a large (better) workaround for the xbox, but this isn't a solution for my other home theater devices. I need to be able to listen to my receiver and blu - ray player, as I have done on my old PC running Windows XP.

    I have a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro, x-64 on a new machine of self-building.  Everything else works, it is not the machine.  I installed all the latest drivers for my machine.  I have all the updates for Windows 7.  I run the Windows Firewall and Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010.  I installed Microsoft Office 2007, Outlook 2007, Visio 2010 and many other applications 'standard '.  I'm not under any program of low-level "weird."

    As other people "suggested", already tried the action of the outgoing WMP, stop the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service using service.msc, then by removing the .wmdb (and other files but not directories) by my dirctory users/xxx/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Media Player, restart the Service of network share WMP using services.msc and then restarting WMP.  This had no effect.  (I tried several times with and without having to restart WMP network sharing service manually.)  I tried to change the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, tab log (the default on my system) Network Service to Local System with "allow service to interact with desktop" chosen as someone another "suggested".  This does not seem to do anything.  I also tried to uninstall WMP and WMC player (using "turn Windows has or disable"), restart, then adding them and reboot.  This time this icon "turn media sharing on" returned in WMP (the icon is usually party WMP Stream/turn on media sharing window).  This time Windows 7 Pro thought a little longer before doing nothing.  (However, now I get a message error "an error has occurred. Not all features have been changed successfully. "in an attempt to"Reinstall"Windows Media Center after you have reinstalled WMP.)  The resettlement of WMC has returned an error.  I can no longer start Windows Media Center on my PC.

    So, by all posts on this topic, its obvious this is a real bug in Windows 7 (maybe?), (perhaps only on x - 64?).

    Just two more things on my setup... I did not initially set up homegroup (because I have no other Windows 7 machines), but I tried that implemented to see if it had an effect (it didn't).  The part only 'weird' of my installation, I mounted my D: drive (2nd hard drive) in C:\Users (because I use a Solid State Drive for the operating system on C: and don't want the user data on this subject).  This has not caused other problems, but I wanted to throw it out there in case Windows Media Player sharing is something weird here.  (And no, I'm not going to 'try to change' that, unless it is a known fact that that's the problem - and then I would need a different solution to move my user data off the coast of the SSD.)

    So please, let me know what is the real problem why it happened to me (I'm sure some people can turn on streaming in WMP), and what is the real solution.  (There seems to be a multitude of suggestions on the web for all kinds of different 'fixed', but which, if any, is the right one?)  Please do not just suggest things to try.  What is the right benchmark?

    Go to network and sharing center open view full map, right click on your PC and click on manage.

    then open services and applications, and then serivces and find Upnp device host, right click and click on reboot and make sure that it is set to automatic.

    Now scroll down to Windows Media Player Network Sharing service, do a right click and click on reboot and make sure that it is set to automatic also.

    It should work, it worked for me and everyone I know but... The only problem I have is when I restart my PC, the drive share Windows Media network service changes from automatic to automatic (delayed start) and I have to restart again the Upnp device host and Windows Media Player network sharing service.

    Other than having to do every time I restart my PC, it works perfectly.

    Also, if anyone has an idea of why it changes (delayed start) let me know thanks...

    After my last post, I did a little research and figured out how to import my favorites in IE8... so I uninstalled firefox again... but this time I had checked the "delete my personal Firefox and customizations" in the wizard, who did remove two addons (Ghosery and Ad Block Plus)... the relocation was different this time and the first time you start firefox He asked if I wanted to import my IE Favorites, which I did...     I often use AirPlay to my iPhone and iTunes on my PC to play for my (home theater installation) AVR - 1506 Marantz.

    Configuring wifi in our House are a router/modem to the ISP and an Asus RT-N56U (in access point mode) with DIFFERENT SSID to which I don't have problem to play AirPlay on any device. I had the same SSID when so I can use wifi roaming without having to change the SSID whenever the other signal weakens.

    When I put two (router & AP) with the same SSID, Airplay icon will not be displayed? But if I put a different SSID to one of the two, airplay icon is back. Channels are on ch.1 (router) and ch.11 (AP). Someone knows how to set up?
