• Two-way replication in two databases in a single server

  I have two instances of installation OGG, one for each database. Let's say that they are respectively OGG1 and OGG2 for DB1 and DB2. Ogg1 has two extracts and OGG2 has 1 replicat for replication of the first. It works well independently.  OGG2 has two excerpts and OGG1 1 replicat for replication of the second, which is for the direction of backword. It also works well independently. As I got to know previously, this is how I do two-way replication, by running these two processes together. I did it.

  But when I did, it gives me the desired result. What currently happening given cannot be changed in one of the databases. When the data changes, it shows the change. but when committed, itself data is modified in its original values. What's the harm? Two processes works well independently.

  Yes, that was the problem. I added "TranLogOptions ExcludeUser ogguser" the main excerpt from two replications. ogguser is my user goldengate.

• Networking between virtual machines on different hosts

  I need some advice on the basic approach to networking between virtual machines, each running on a different host machine.

  Consider the following configuration:

  I have a few processes that are running in a Machine virtual Ubuntu. Call this guest1.  I guest1 race inside a real computer running Windows XP SP3 and VMware Workstation 7.x; Call this host 1.

  I have a copy of this virtual machine that I put on another machine.  Call this Guest2.  I have Guest2 running on a separate physical computer, also runs Windows XP SP3 and VMware Workstation 7.x; Call this host 2.

  Now, I would like to guest1 and 2 comments to make networking with eachother.  I wish they were able to ping, SSH, etc., among others.

  This is where I am stuck. I tried setting the virtual machines to use the bridged network mode.  I tried to connect my router on each computer and manually assigning IP addresses to each host and each virtual computer.  When I do this, guest1 can Host1 and Host2 ping, but cannot ping Guest2 and vice versa.

  What is the right way to do this kind of network?  This seems like an obvious application, if you want to perform simulations on multiple virtual machines residing on different computers on the network.

  I apologize if this is the answer elsewhere, I had to dig and was not able to find the solution.

  Guests must be on the same subnet, like 'real' hardware machines.

  1 when you copied the VM and then started, what did answer you the question of copy/move? (this determines if a new MAC address is applied)

  2 view each guest and ' ipconfig/all' results 'ifconfig - a' by the hosts.

  Yes, you can... Manually, you need to insert the missing records at both sites (wherever necessary). Because to enable replication goldengate, records must be the same on both sides (two sites).

  I think that, if you go ahead with replication without organizing, then you will end up by with duplicate records. Sometimes the process may ABEND. It comes to creates data integrity problems.

  If the table has the primary key?

• HOW TO GET TWO WAY AUDIO BETWEEN A PC AND A PROFILE C90 SYSTEM

  I'm trying to connect my PC to two audio channels and take advance of the C90 65 "profile that I have.

  I had the C90 RCA Audio Line In #2 to taking SPKR of the PC and work well to get audio to the profile via the C90 speakers.

  Audio of any of the room of the Microphones connected to the C90 to the PC?

  I have a cable connecting the Audio Line Out #2 (right) goes to the MIC on the PC socket, but it does not work.  I don't see any audio signal on the map of his local record settings?

  I did successfully on other systems using a series MXP codec that is 3000, 6000 using catch RCA of VCS.

  Also, what are the internal settings to ensure that turned off inside the C90 and the sound card on the PC?

  I'm missing something simple, I'm sure.

  You would use TC Console to manipulate the audio routing in the codec.  However, I recommend a microphone routing to an output of speaker, as Wayne mentions that this may cause problems with the audio.  I routed the microphone input to the HDMI output once, and it makes the sound being transmitted to the dark side be distorted, don't know why, but I would test fully all possible scenarios when changing channels audio.

• Two-way interfaces between OLM and ELS

  New to OLM, but after spending some time looking through books and searching the Web, I'm still a bit ambiguous on the OLM connectivity and an external training provider.
  
  I was asked to look at a few options for the connection between our current system and the ELS who will provide training for internal clients (who will reserve / register on the courses within the OLM) and external customers who will book / register directly on the SLE.
  
  Apparently the training itself will take place directly online if the ELS rather than OLM - even if the customer is registered by Oracle.
  
  Anyone had any experience of how this might work? Certainly there is an API for loading in external mass of learning (OTA_NHS_API), so I guess that who could answer the records from the SLE in Oracle, and just create a standard check out according to the requirements of the SLE for the traffic in the other direction.
  
  I can't help but think, however, and forgive me for oversimplifying here, that we we would be better looking like more connectivity sown between the Chapter and the ELS using API and connectivity available SCORM.
  
  Is there something more than a functional facility required for this? If we already have licenses for OLM is there likely to be additional license or cost requirements?

  Hi CK,.

  Usually the integration with a content provider of external learning (as a SkillSoft) is achieved through the integration of the AICC, where the seller provides you with the AICC metadata, it is imported in the LMS and when launched content run outside to the seller via AICC.
  I would check with the content provider, if it is an option that they provide, and if so, this should be the method used.

• Should we two-way ports only in EMP?

  I always asked customers to open the two-way port between the areas of Web and database without giving much thought, because I had seen it at Oracle. Customer claims now that I should be fine with only one open port direction that extends from Web to database because he says this is how it works in the EBS environment. I do not understand his logic.

  Someone please tell me how it is done at your end and is it mandatory to have the two-way port and why?

• Two-way synchronization of Lightroom with Flickr?

  I have been using Lightroom with Flickr for a long time. A certain degree of two-way synchronization between the plugin Flickr (the one that comes with Adobe Lightroom) and Lightroom is possible. For example, coomments are uploaded to Flickr. However, there are some strong limitations on this plugin:

  (1) has problems if you have a lot of Flickr photo sets then you can't keep all registered in Lightroom, but you can update after post you them on Flickr. For example if you find an error in a name or retouch a photo. This is particularly the case if you move to a new computer or do a major upgrade and lose games photo appearing on the card.

  (2) If you import pictures from another library where you've set up a Flickr album then this album not imported to Lightroom in the Flickr publish the module. The connection to Flckr is lost!

  I am in no way suggest using Flickr as a backup, but it would be useful to be able to link to the existing albums in Lightroom and locate the existing files in the current library or to the list of missing persons so that the republication are then possible. If someone knows a way to get this answer please then.

  Currently I use Lightroom 4.3 on a Windows 7 PC.

  According to http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/flickr/publish#populate , that he should try to link previous Flickr updated with photos in your catalog.  I don't use Flickr for a long time, so I'm not up-to-date with the current functionality.

  This point is covered in another post last month, but I want to assure you that I am

  I don't think you can automatically load the balance between the two boxes.   the shared storage ensures guests / VM have the current data available.  No actual replication necessary.

  Just take your Hardest hit of VM and split them between the two hosts.

  On VMotion?  It is much easier to run just a host with a failure to another identical host.    I have not attemptied it in any other way quite a few facilities.   Do you think that your host is running out of gas?   I used to think that as well, but I'm surprised how much any given host can be loaded up without experiencing consitantly performance problems.    If they are windows?  You can check how the VM is performing pretty easy with the Windows performance tools.  All this with low end Iscsi San, I can only imagine how fiber of rocks on the performance.

  Yes, you can use replication between vCenters thus vSphere. To do that you would like to devices VR is deployed to each vCenter and then connect them. How to do this is described in the VR installation and config and administrative documents.

  I understand that vCenter, SRM and VRA must match and vSphere replication 6 is compatible with ESXi 5 upwards and it is the vSphere host in the source location that replicates on the VRA rather than a host of ESXi target so it should work, but I wanted a certain Yes/No.

• Why is no longer a faster network between two different hosts?

  I need help in this mystery.

  I have three computers different virtual, all of them with e1000 (also I tried all VMs with vmxnet3) and the latest vmware tools.

  Two of this mV, are in the same physical host (ESXi 5.5.0 2068190). Call for example: VM - 1A & VM - 2A

  Another virtual machine, is in another physical host (ESXi 5.5.0 2068190). Call VM-1 b

  Both ESXi hosts are connected with two cards 10 Gbit network with load Balancing: "From hash IP route" and detection: "link status only.

  Traffic Shaping is disabled in all Ports.

  The environment is very clean, and we have more VMs that can disrupt the test (or inappreciable).

  VM - 1a: 10.12.50.201 - physical host ESX - A

  VM - 2A: 10.12.50.202 - physical host ESX - A

  VM-1 b: 10.12.50.200 - physical host ESX - B

  Why I don't see better network speed reference, when two virtual machines send something two physical host is different than when the two virtual machines are in the same physical host?

  It is not a question of "iperf", I used the other test with CPS and I had the same speed.

  Now move VM-1B for A Host and repeat the test (two virtual machines on the same host). What happens now to the speed?

  -How is the CPU usage during the test we Host-A, if you have 2 virtual machines on this host?

  -What is your ratio of P2V CPU? (overprovisioning?)

  What it could be

  -Host doesn't have enough CPU power to serve the two virtual machines (or over-provision P2V related problem). But for me no sense if I see your config server with 16cores.

  -It is not a host but a related problem of VM (perhaps it depends on the VM - A2). Makes the most sense for me (your test is to check)

  Why is an update performed at Target.Directory table with the WHERE clause used in the SELECT query to my SNIPPET, which in turn, was intended for the SOURCE. TEST and SOURCE. CONTACT tables?
