• State of Firefox 7.0.1 went bar

  Hello

  After the upgrade to 7.0.1 now the status bar disappeared!
  In another similar topic proposed to install any extension... but I don't want that I'm not to administer all the status bar icons and other things manually or status-4-Eva, who seems just stupid to me.

  For example, I needed the status bar to see No-Script and quick access icon to activate URLS in the current Web site.
  Also, I need to access the extension of another icon that would flash on the videos with... Flash.

  Now this and much more are gone and the right click is simply not the same in terms of ease of use.

  Is it really the default behavior for 7.0.1?
  I mean, do I turn my back on Firefox (after having been with Mozilla since Firebird!) or is this a topic: configuration string I need to edit?

• State Explorer bar needs more information on Win7

  The State of the Explorer bar is missing the disk/folder/file info (file size, size of the folder, hard disk space available, the number of files in the folder, etc.). Is it possible that switch?

  Hello Mike,.

  Thank you for posting.  There is not a way to display this information in the status bar in Windows 7.  You can get the information by clicking on the folder and selecting Properties.  I hope this information is useful.

• VMWare Fusion 3.0 State Menu bar icon

  I just installed VMWare Fusion 3.0. I now have a VMWare Fusion icon on the menu bar of State. I do not use Windows very often and it just bothers me to have an additional icon on the status menu bar. I understand that this icon provide easy access to my virtual machine, but there must be a way to turn on and off this feature based on your needs.

  Does anyone know how to disable the icon of VMWare Fusion 3.0 on the status menu bar?

  I had the same problem and spend some time to understand what was wrong, until I found this article.

  I just re-set the calibration in the Tablet PC settings.
  I guess it's a bug and hope, that it's fixed at some stage...

  Still wondering how this could pass through. Noone already attempted to calibrate the touch screen?

  By default Firefox will be "reduced to adjust." You who can disable in layout in a regular window or in print preview, but it's hard to call Preview in the window pop up in print, because the menu bar and the toolbar are removed. If it is a common problem, you can use a different add-on (!) which puts the print preview before printing and Page Setup on the shortcut menu.

• Help to create a gif animated for a navigation bar!

  Hey guys, I'm very new to Fireworks and dreamweave and I encounter a problem that makes my head spin! I need to create a simple animated .gif to a navigation bar (which will be published in dreamweaver). The navigation bar are as follows: http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~baronson/ITI320/Exercise2/functionality.html. Essentially, all that happens is I create this animated picture and in dreamweaver, when I create the navigation bar of AP, I updated the mouseover this image. My problem is that, compared to the image mouseover of the website ( http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~baronson/ITI320/Exercise2/images/navi/audience_OVER.gif ) animated my gif has several layers and States, where, as its only has a single layer. I can't seem to find a way to include both text and gif image and incorporate them into the same layer.

  A follow-up to the issue after finding the way to integrate them both in the same State, I should catch every piece of my animated gif for the individual State, that I want it be applied?

  Any help/pointer to where the information would be greatly appreciated. I have read through the manuals and watched a lot of videos of Babbage, but were not able to understand this. Thank you!

  Your gif didn't need to have several layers, but he needs to have several States. To save you a lot of confusion, first create animated gifs, and then export them. Create your navigation bar in the usual way, with simple images, rolloveres or swap. The navigation bar on export. Rename the gifs animated with the names of most of the State of the navigation bar images and then remove (or mone to another folder) more images of the State navigation bar. Move the gif animations in the navigation bar image file. Preview in the browser. The animated gifs should have replaced the original state of the buttons.

• Windows Store downloads PAINFULLY slow

  I installed Windows 8 Pro (final version) on an Oracle VirtualBox and everything works well EXCEPT downloading things on the Microsoft Store. When I started the store, he said that I had to update the 15 applications (the ones provided with Windows, I think) and I told him to go ahead.  The next screen came and it showed the 15 apps (things like photos, people, etc.) with a progress next to each bar.   Hmmm I just disabled my wired Internet (on the virtual machine) and don't have my connection wireless enabled (Windows 8 thinks it's a wired connection)...

  In any case, it was a little slow, but all applications downloaded and installed.

  What could be the problem with the connection to the LAN does not not for downloads from app store?

• T61 battery dead after 19 cycles?

  Hey all, I'm new to the forum so please, be gentle.

  I have a little problem with my T61 battery.  I usually use my system as you would for a desktop PC, which means that the battery has cycled only 19 times since I got it back in 2007.  Yesterday, the battery was perfectly fine to my knowledge.  Today, I wake up and see the light flashing orange battery.  Opening the program Power Manager tells me that my battery status is "poor".

  When I click on the button "Battery maintenance", the system stops.  No prompt "Windows is shutting down", it's as if someone pulled the plug without battery inside.

  What I don't understand, is why I only got 19 cycles of the battery.  Would it be a bad battery?  I ran the Battery Recall program to see if mine was one that was recalled, but he said that it is not.  The system never actually ran off the power to the battery for more than 20 minutes (we had a power outage because the pole transformer blew).

  A battery at least 20% charge remaining should be an easy score for $10 or more.   Hello. I have setup a volume mirroring in Windows 7.  It is on two internal hard drives of identical, and they are on the SATA 5 & 6 port.  This isn't the boot volume, rather than a volume used to store my data.

  The problem I have is that the status of disks in disk management has been "Resync" for two or three days.  Because I had a freeze, he has not changed.  I have not changed or written all the data on the disc from the gel.  I ran a chkdsk on it and she came back with 0 errors.  I also have let the computer idle for hours in the hope that a full resynchronization.

  I've had this problem before and had to delete the volume and recreate it.  After this point, the State is still in good health.  It was the gel that the State went from resynchronization.  I have also had turned off (unchecked) the "enable write on the device cache" for two hard drives in the Device Manager.

  Any help would be appreciated on why it has not gone to the healthy state or how to get it back to health.

  I have 2 identical systems, Seagate 1 TB drive pairs and controllers of SATAII SYBA (SD-SATA2-4IR).  BOTH systems have experienced a problem during the past year.  I think I have a clue as to WHY mirrored pairs have been health, then entered the RESYNCHRONIZATION of what I suspect, are the following.  (See if that makes sense)

  (1) MSFT patches have been applied during the shutdown, he installed the patches, then Shutsdown computer (not restart).

  (2) ' abnormal' restarts where the system is stopped quickly to a UPS driver, or a condition that causes the computer to stop quickly.

  (3) some fixes/stops, etc., causing the total closing of windows, had caused the BIOS of the motherboard to get into a 'safe' mode where it invites you to go into the bios settings and check then save or press F2 to continue under the 'security' settings

  These are the only conditions I found to cause systems to cause the disease of resynchronization.

  My suspicions: in the old days of Unix and old days, you had to make sure that the RAID would allow for buffers to be written to the disk and completely empty.  (UnIX, you would be sync, synchronize twice to ensure the purge of the buffer before sending a stop, in other operating systems, there would be further delays in stopping the operating system if the memory and buffers would be flush to disk properly).  Today, we have faster readers, so the probability is not high for information not to write in readers... except... got faster readers... so for the sizes of discs and the player tables would be biggest accordingly.  ALSO... Recall that the discs have 1 TB 32 MB cache on them as well.

  * THEORY: I think that if Microsoft would put an order double write/flush BEFORE a stop occurs, OR to have a delay before the actual stop occurs, the State will disappear and the question of SYNCHRONIZATION will not be a problem.   MSFT can (at the start), the size of readers and have this statement if a drive is North of 500 GB as a precaution.

  Testers out there who can test this?

  I recently created a DB with ABC_TBS with 2 GB in SIZE and the data import in table little consumed 10MB of storage space another tablespace USER

• Maximum date in OBIEE

  I have a requirement that needs to pick up the maximum date of different status for a ticket.
  for example, a ticket is fired and goes through the change of different status from A-B-C-D-E with different dates, when the State went A-B/B-c as well as on.
  
  My requirement is to display a column in the SPR, which would take the maximum date for a ticket (in what situation it may be) and calculate the number of days he sits in this status (i.e. no of days from the time the ticket is opened and the maximum date).
  
  I'm not able to make anything work like this in the RPD, please help me with ideas.

  I'm assuming you had hierarchy defined for the table Report_vw1 and the status column sits on any level
  Create a logical column with the phrase max (a.dt)
  and then properties-> content tab
  set the level as the column-level status

• Impossible to install Flash 10 under Firefox 3.6.8

  I am running Windows XP (32 bit), try to install Flash Player 10 on Firefox 3.6.8 without success. I installed it on IE 7 right now without any problems.

  This is what is happening with Firefox:

  First try to go to the adobe site and download: the Download Manager box appears, then the status bar shows it installed, it is 100% and never ends. There is another box that opens at the same time, it's a box of dark red adobe, there is a button leave and one install one, but that one is unclickable, is lie it is obscured or blackened, you see Install but it is not a clickable button as the button is out. It shows the status bar to 100% and then sits there and nothing else happens and when I click on leave, then the download box indicates it is installed and I can close the Download Manager, but again, the Flash Player does not appear as installed.

  Second, try to install the plugin missing in the bar at the top asking you to do. I clicked and a box comes up as usual with the flash player 10 plugin verified, I click Next, the status bar displays a crossing of the green line as if installation, then small flashes of just green status bar keep and will and it does never to the part where you click on next to go to the page of the agreement. That dark red adobe box is also there and again once the quit button is there and you can see install on the opposite side, but can't click it. The State guard bar and go and never stop until I click the button exit, THEN said it is installed, but it's not because when I return to try to watch a video, it says I have to install the missing plugin. I tried for 2 days, I uninstalled the old flashplayer and still have problems. I can't get flash on FF at all.

  I don't care but for my work, I am required to use FF and I need flash. Before I updated (when I still had flash 9) I could watch videos of youtube, now I can't do anything

  Hi, ok, since you get the 'red zone', you see probably 'Install' or 'Quit' look for a small square box (it can be difficult to see) but he must 'accept', check this box and then click on 'Install '.
