• VCS Expressway outside to endpoints internal call

  I have a new implementation where internal control 1 to VCS in LAN and VCS Expressway in DMZ 1.

  VCS Expressway has an IP public address/NAT.

  Currently, we have a group of VC endpoint, each endpoint has a public IP/NAT to the local network, to allow internet to make H.323 call directly by public IP address of the composition of the endpoint.

  My question is, after having implemented VCS Expressway in DMZ, how do the numbering plan at each endpoint internal VCS Highway outside call? Do I still need to give to each endpoint an ip/NAT publich.

  A much simpler and in my opinion, more elegant and more scalable solution would be not to use IP addresses for calls, but to allocate and register outcomes with E.164 alias. That way you all you need is the internal IP address.

  So the outer ends may, in this case, call your settings using the [email protected] / * / or [email protected] / * /-E_IP_address.

  I m deployment the following scenario:

  CUCM--> exp - c--> exp - e

  I registered sx10 and cisco jabbers on Cucm and I've implemented mra and b2b on the solution of the highway. Of sx10 I can dial in the external domain, everythings and the external ip address work very well.

  Also, I downloaded jabber - config.xml for uri component of jabbers users but I have a problem: when I compose b2b calls from a jabber user, the call comes in the highway-c, but this uses the time zone of the mra to the highway e, then "Service unavailable" error. I have already added the b2b area and works well endpoint sx10, but not jabbers users.

  Can someone help me?

  Something weird going on here. Looks like Jabber's still doing this call as a call MRA.

  Try adding a SIP (area boss) route in CUCM for externaldomain.es and refer her to your B2B SIP Trunk 5560 to Expressway. Then restart Jabber and try the call again. If it does not please post again the history of the research.

  If we assume that both companies want to stick to a Cisco solution, then you will need to use a control VCS Cisco and VCS Expressway (VCS-E). You can also remove this with a solution of VCS StarterPack (according to the needs for scalability and other design objectives). The two entities should have a solution in place.

  At a high level, you would have a SIP trunk of the AAU to VCS. VCS has a relationship of peering with VCS-E and the VCS - E is sitting in your public DMZ. The VCS-E to Cust A can communicate with the VCS-E to Cust B. You can do this in fact through a peering model (commissioning on both devices of VCS - E) or you can simply use DNS and URI component to facilitate the call installation introduction.

  You will of course face the network aspect (IP addressing, the rules of firewall, etc.). You need a coordination "numbering plan" according to which (if any) the URI dialing rules have been established by organizations. With versions of the CUCM prior to 9.x, you shouldn't that numbering URI has a little support limited. CUCM 9.0 adds some improvements of numbering URI. Not that you must be about 9.0 or version later to do what you want, just that you have a different set of parameters to function as with the pre - 9.0 version.

  The above is pretty generic, but it can give you a point of reference to start with.

• 404 error since I activated a component

  Hello, I get this error when I try to access the content server (11g):

  Server not found anything matching the request URI. No indication is given whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

  If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (refused) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through a configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

  What happens since I activated the UrmAgent component. If I turn it off, I have access again to the content server. The problem is that I need this component allow.

  1. disable this component

  2 from the Administration - configure folder settings - set the level of the adapter (if you want to connect to another server URM) or independent (for RM enabled on the same server)

  What you need to do is to create a Servlet to touch the images and in the carousel component, use the path to the servlet.

  Check the path to build that you got all the libraries that are checked. You can remove if there are the same libs with different versions.

• . Loaded SWF loses functionality (Flash 8 Loader component)

  Hi all, long time listener, first - time calling...
  
  I have a file with a Loader and ProgBar component. The charger draws in a SWF with buttons. The buttons control the sound objects to play MP3 files. When the second swf loads, do not play the MP3. The music is incorporated, not loaded on the outside. If I call the direct URI of the swf file, the dumb thing plays! But loads the swf file loaded via the Loader component..., the display of buttons their bearings... but the sounds won't play... it fails to test the animation too...
  
  I am sure this is just a fundamental vice that I created (the missing brace syndrome), but I have no idea what it is, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

  How do I set the Contact list so that it is visible all the time and I can just click on the Contact and open an email to them? It seems that I had this option first.

  You can activate a Contact component in the window of writing. F9 IIRC.

• Is s.yimg a component of Firefox? I see 'read s.yimg' flash in lft corner as a redirect when opening email yahoo?

  I recently changed my Chrome Firefox browser. I have Yahoo mail. For a long time, my computer has been right very slow after connecting email Yahoo and my email will be freezes up. Now, with Firefox, when that happens, I'll get a message box that tells me that there is a long script and give me the option to stop it, debugging or let it continue. He also let me to know who is the script of. Most of the time its s.yimg.com/... but today I also received the message box indicating that a slow chome script was running, even though I had no Chrome. I went google to find out what s.yimg.com has been and found several articles about this, mostly indicating that it was a boring, harmful software which redirects searches and eventually titles. Also called a virus by some but others said it was a component integrated into Yahoo. I also read that she was bound with Firefox. Can someone tell me what s.yimg is? It is part of Firefox, or Yahoo, or is this a virus that infects the many applications and processes. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? Would appreciate any help I can get.

  s.yimg. com is a domain operated by Yahoo. There is no obvious reason to suspect nauseous if you are on a Yahoo site and see the files requested from the s.yimg. com This is not to say that Yahoo could not use it for some scripts/images of follow-up, but completely blocking it break Yahoo so this isn't really an option.

  Another common cause of errors in script fails on Windows Vista is the feature of mode of the Flash player plugin. This feature has the security benefits, but it seems to have serious compatibility problems on some systems. You can disable it using the page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. On the right side, find 'Shockwave Flash' and click on the link for more. Then uncheck the box for "Enable Adobe Flash protected mode" and try it for a day to see if that helps you.

• Apple TV URI

  Dear all,

  I worked as a programmer for AMX (www.amx.com) for the last 16 years.  AMX used its own panels to control and integrate different systems (lighting, audio/video, security, hvac, etc.) but 3 years before began a collaboration with control of TP (www.tpcontrol.com) and introduced the use of panels (iphone, ipad) iOS as the main user interfaces.

  What we are very often asked, is to check the IP devices via the network using their own applications. One of them is the Apple TV.  To do this, tool design AMX - where the UI of the iPad is designed from - should call the app (i.e. Apple TV) using the URI of the application.

  My question is, if Apple TV using a soft (is the "Remote"?) and who (if it has) corresponds to the URI for it?

  Apple has already produce an application that allows to control the Apple TV, there are other third party products which do the same too.

• URI format for shared local files

  Firefox uses this format to access shared files on a LAN... file:///host/path for example file:///computername/sharename/MyDocs/filename.txt.

  This format is different from the standard form file://host/path that is used on other browsers, such Windows, Chrome.

  This means Firefox doesn't gives me access to shared files when I coded in standard format URI in my local HTML documents. Why is Firefox different or non-standard.

  Hi seebee, file:///host/path apparently is the standard form for a unc path:

  "It's five slashes - two for the Protocol, one to indicate the root of the file system, and then two more to indicate the beginning of the name of the server.
