Sorry, I used the automatic translator!

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

You can install very specific wireless modules. If you install the other thing that a part of HP numbered card the computer will not start and stops on an error message. The cards can be found on Pages 3-5 and 3-6. You can use also depends on your County.

The replacement instructions are on pages 4-14 to 4-16. The type of card is a "half-height" mini-pcie card.

  • What kind of PCMCIA slots has Portege 7220?

I just got a Belkin USB 2.0 PCMCIA to fit in one of my pcmcia slots. That should give me 2 USB 2.0 Sockets. I put it in and my laptop is see it not at all. Thought it was a driver problem (I use XP) but now suspect that I don't have a Type II slot, it is an old laptop.
    Anyone here can tell me?

    Hello

On the Toshiba driver download page, you will find drivers for Win2000.
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU

In my opinion, you can install the original W2k laptop and that all Toshiba drivers available on the page.

  • X 60 model 1709H6U - pcmcia type II interface compatible with a specific map?

    Hello

I am considering buying a targus universal docking that use an Express card,

I wonder if my x 60 that has only one type II PCMCIA port will be able to recognize the docking station targus via a pcmcia card provided by targus?

From what I've read in the following link

    http://www.ExpressCard.org/Web/site/about.jsp

The express card slot using another type of syster (pci/usb), while that pcmcia slot is based on "cardbus" System. I am not very fluent on the any of these types of slot machines, so I'm almost certain that I don't know what I'm talking about when I say "I think that if I buy this targus docking station, I would be able to use it seamlessly with my 60 x in its pcmcia slot using a generic adapter found on ebay.

I hope someone out there has any confirmation stating if the pcmcia x 60 slot would support the express card contribution.

    See you soon

The X 60 can only use the PCMCIA Type II card, if ExpressCard to PCMCIA adapter work is not assured. There is also a USB 2.0 version, I suggest you get one of those instead. Lenovo is an enhanced USB port replicator, which you should consider for your X 60 laptop computer.

According to the Compaq 325 and 326 PCs HP 425 and 625 Notebook computers laptops - Maintenance and Service of Guide, the model supports one ExpressCard (ExpressCard/34) of 34 mm slot. It seems that your Netgear WG511T required a CardBus PC Card Type II slot. On this basis, the card you is inconsistent without the use of an additional adapter.

  • Qosmio X 870-bet up-to-date graphics card

    Hello

I'm here to ask if it is possible to update the graphics card to a Toshiba Qosmio x 870 (model 13 K). I use it mainly for work (work in 3D) when I'm away. When I decided to take it apart to clean all the dust and change of thermal paste to reduce heating - successfully, btw - I got notice that nVidia graphics (gtx 650M) has been pluged in a * MXM 3.0 type B * slot.

So I thought: ' is it possible to update? I am very interested to upgrade to a 770M or 870M, with dedicated memory, of course. I noticed the size, format and also the poscion of the 'slot' screws are the same newer cards.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Mobile machines are not expandable as desktop computers. GPU upgrade is certainly not supported and I'm 99.9% sure it's impossible.
Due to the specific design and limited cooling possibilities that these updates can be done.

Some info based on the CPU or GPU, you can find on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9401AX0001R01.htm

    Thanks again

    Hello

Well, there are of many Satellite Pro M70. It s a great series.
But for example Satellite Pro M70-110 has a PCMCIA Type II slot.
You can use the different PCMICA card in this slot. But they must be compatible.
I guess this slot machine, you found a plastic Board. This is only for security.

However, if you want to learn more about your device, I would recommend reading the user manual which must be preinstalled on your laptop. You will find very, very, very ;) useful information.

  • Need help with the upgrade of the WLAN on Satellite Pro 6100 minipci card

Hello everyone, I desperately tried to update my WIRELESS card on my laptop SP6100, since it was delivered with a card minipci wifi-b, which is not fast enough today. s standards.

Each piece of the Toshiba official documentation mention the SP6100 has a mini-PCI type 3a slot, so can accommodate two minipci card a type 3a and 3B wifi.
But unfortunately for me, I discovered the hard way that it is absolutely NOT the case - I was put back by a fortune by buying costs for a type3 intel minipci wifi card, which does NOT at all on the laptop.

I spent an hour in unnecessary calls to the customer service from Toshiba, that I had to convince PCMCIA certainly isn't the same as miniPCI, and Mini - PCI cards ARE CERTAINLY replaceable by the user. She insisted that she could not be changed by the user of the system, but by toshiba themselves.

Could someone please please advise me on the type of wifi card that are built with the SP6100 laptops? I think is it AGERE brand, in the form of WLAN minipci card. I know that it IS certainly NOT miniPCI type 3.

    Help, please! Thank you.
And besides, every place that I tried so far appears only sell type3 miniPCI cards,
Other types of Mini-PCI cards are available to retail customers?

    Infinite thanks!

    Hello

You must understand that your model of laptop is quite old and right now the market wasn't available standard b. I'm pretty skeptical that you will be able to use the standard WLAN with G maps due to compatibility issues. On this forum, I founded several threads that people write about the problems of upgrading older models of laptops with the new wireless network cards.

In my opinion the best solution for you is to use a PCMCIA WLAN card. The installation should be easy and you can use the wireless network with faster data transfer adapter.

An NVIDIA representative recommended a GEFORCE GTX 780.  The PNY Graphics Card VCGGTX7803XPB video will work with my desk?

    Hi there @LeoOfMars

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you are looking to find out if a video card is compatible with your information system. I'm happy to help you with that.

The main reasons to be sure of are normally feeding you, special (to THE) cable power supply for the graphics card, on the motherboard compatible expansion slot, the drivers for your operating system, another thing to know is the physical size of the map, for moments of cases.

Looking at the specs of your system and the motherboard by default, I listed the type of slot of power and expansion.

HP Pavilion Elite e9180t Desktop PC product specifications and configurable Options

Output power of power: 460 Watt

HP and Compaq desktop PC - specifications of the motherboard, IPMTB-TK (Truckee)

Two graphics PCI Express 2.0 x 16 (for graphics cards)

Go to the video card you are looking at:

    GTX 780 3072 MB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0 OC Custom cooled graphics card

    Input power: 1 x 8-pin auxiliary input aux input 1 x 6-pin
    Bus type: PCI-Express 3.0 16 x

    System requirements:
Mother compatible PCI Express with a slot of chart double-width x 16
Power 600W minimum (with a minimum of 12V current rating of 42A) 3
300 MB of available disk space
2 GB of memory system (4 GB or more recommended)
Microsoft Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP Operating System (32 or 64-bit)
DVD-ROM drive or Internet connection for installation
DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA compatible monitor

So on a quick inspection of both devices there are three problems, so this card will not work on your motherboard or with the current power.

    I hope this helps.

    1 x 8 pins, entry to aux in, 1 x 6-pin

  • Photosmart C4140: Using the adapter for SDHC and SDXC CF in Photosmart C4140

I have a Photosmart C4140 printer and my cameras using SDHC and SDXC memory cards. I read the specs and some info online and it was stated that this printer does not support these cards. I bought a CF Ultimate Digigear adapter that accepts SDHC and SDCX cards for use in a CF Type 2 slot as the slot on the C4140.  I tried one of my SDXC cards and I get an error "memory card" on the LCD of the printer. Then, I tried the SDHC card in this card and it worked. I was able to view the photos on the LCD of the printer. However, when I tried this SDHC card by removing the adapter and re - insert into the CF slot, I started having the 'memory card error '.  I couldn't read this SDHC card in the new CF adapter. What could happen that he would only read the card only once? I checked this SDHC card in my camera and it still works and can store images. Does anyone know of any other CF adapters that can work?

Info on this CF adapter can be found here:

    http://www.shopdigi.com/product.aspx?pf_id=SDXCF

I would like any advice or ideas.

After some trial and error, I discovered that the CF adapter has one slight movement from side to side, as he goes into the card slot see By putting my thumbs on the corners of the card and pushing the adapter in a fluid, non-stop movement, I was able to get the printer to recognize the adapter and the memory card. It takes a little practice.  This CF adapter works fine. Now I can use the cards SDHC and SDXC times with my printer. I need to buy a new printer.

  • Satellite P100-429 does support the 5-in-1 card reader?

IM wanting to buy a new laptop computer and is came through the "Toshiba Satellite P100-429'." It's the portable perfect! However, when I searched the internet for a detailed technical specification, I found that on pixmania.co.uk he states that there is no memory card reader:

    http://www.Pixmania.co.UK/UK/UK/462038/art/Toshiba/Satellite-P100-429.html

Still other sites, he says that there is a 5-in-1 including Toshiba card reader themselves. It is therefore possible to have the same laptop model but with a different specification? or is it a typo in the site of pixmania? Thank you

    > is it possible to have the same laptop model but with a different technique
Of course, many laptops in the same series were delivered with different hardware specifications it is nothing unusual.

For example, the dvi video port, express card slot or the married media card slot are available on some models.
I would trust the Web from Toshiba site and this model should support housing ExpressCard and a PCMCIA Type II slot.
The slot SD, Compact Flash Card slot card and smart card reader are not available on this model

  • PCI-Express?

I looked on several review sites on my IBM Thinkcentre M52 9210 (the compact one, NOT the tour) and he says he has ONE PCI-EXPRESS X 16 expansion slot. I printed a picture of the PCI-E x 16 slot and compared it with that of my mahcine. It says it also has a PCI slot and I can see it, and below must be PCI - E, the black one.

But when I look closely it doesn't even look close to the image I had printed a. It is around 90 mm (more or less a few mm) and instead of having two separate ' gaps "(comme on pourrait identifier leur PCI-E x16), my had 5"deviations"in them.". " I plan to upgrade my computer and install a dedicated video card to replace my old Intel GMA 950 integrated chipset and I really need to know if it is PCI-E or another type of slot machine.

    Thank you.

Take a look at this image:

    http://i.Dell.com/images/global/learnmore/pcie_connector.jpg

You can tell from this image, the x 16 PCI-E has two what is called the 'gaps', a smaller on the right, a bigger to the left. What intrigues me is that the mine has five gaps, instead of two. I looked up my machine on the lenovo site, and it does not say it has a PCI-E slot, but just, he doesn't look like a PCI-E x 16. I really need someone to confirm this because if it is not PCI-E x 16 I have to get a PCI graphics card...

    Poweraml,

According to our product specifications, the ThinkCentre M52 9210 machine type has 2 expansion on a PCI riser slots:

    • Slot 1 is a half-length, x 1 PCI Express slot intended to be used with our connection card PCI-E DVI - D (part number 73 P 2516). To do this, not supported x 16 PCI Express adapters.
    • Slot 2 is a half-length, version 2.2, the PCI slot.

    These specifications are available at:

  • How to connect to a PXI-1042 of the Lap Top

I have a chassis 1042 I want to use for calibration. I have a laptop with N.I. Measurement & Automation Explorer, Cal executive and a GPIB-USB-B interface.

The chassis features a PXI-GPIB in the Groove 3.

The Explorer N.I. does not recognize the chassis, what am I I need to calibrate the Flexdmm cards?

    Please advice.

    Thank you.

    P. S.

I downloaded and installed the recommended drivers for DMM, I'm planning to calibrate it.

The limitations of the map template will depend on the drivers you use, and not on the cord. You will be able to collect data as well as long as you have the correct drivers for your PXI card that is compatible with your operating system. Our controllers use only cables MXI, so the GPIB-USB cable does not work with them.

    Points to remember:
MXI cable must correspond to the PXI card in the computer and the map MXI (Controller) in the chassis
Drivers installed on the computer must be compatible with the cards in the chassis
The cards must match the type of slot in the chassis
The GPIB Serial card can be used to communicate with the hardware series (send commands and receive data)
The GPIB-USB cable allows the card GPIB to communicate with devices having a USB port. (once again, only send commands and receive data)
