Hi Sarabd,

You can use the glyphs Panel to insert characters. You can also use turn on the Microsoft brew-in-windows-7/73c618ad-a167-412b-b31d-ef13f9f9001e http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/how-do-i-get-he Hebrew language pack

You can share the snapshot of this virtual keyboard, you see in Microsoft Word? Normally the keyboards are available in all applications and is limited to one.

• Merge data into InDesign with Hebrew characters

InDesign CC 2014 on Windows 7 Ultimate

I had an Excel file which contains mainly in English, but has a few words of Hebrews here and there. I was unable to save as a CSV file retaining the Hebrew from Excel, so I downloaded Google leaves and downloaded in CSV.

When I open the CSV file in Notepad, it looks perfect with Hebrew, although if open in Excel the characters are distorted.

When it is used to merge data into InDesign, the Hebrew characters appear as such mutilated versions only displayed in Excel.

I use GREP to format the Hebrew characters.

I have a feeling that the problem is at the "save CSV" step, but I do not know how to remedy this.

Any help much appreciated.

Thank you

Ruth

Instead of changing the file extension, try saving the text with UTF-8 encoding.

Excel: Save as type > text (separator: tab) > Tools > Web Options > Encoding > Unicode UTF-8

• Find the bad characters and edit them in the document all the

Hello

I have such a problem. I imported maps in Illustrator, but some characters were not imported.

My question is: is this a good way to find them all in any document and transform the appropriate characters?

Or maybe you know why import went wrong? These bad policies should be Spanish / Catalan.

PEAK. 1-bad character,

PEAK. 2 - character set,1.jpg

2.jpg

Use the Menu > edit > find and replace. If you copy the bad character and spent in the search for field, and then type the correct character to replace in the field, and then click search, then replace and find. It works like in most word processors. To speed up the process.

• After I exported a PDF (written in Hebrew) in a Word document, the Word document is written in mirror writing, how can I solve this problem?

After I exported a PDF (written in Hebrew) in a Word document, the Word document is written in mirror writing, how can I solve this problem?

This is a known bug in Acrobat. The conversion of PDF to Office documents was never designed to deal properly with the languages from right to left like Hebrew, Arabic and Farsi. There is no work around at this point.

• I have Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. I went to special characters from the Edit menu and choose some emoji as Favorites, but I can't understand how to insert in the document. How can I insert special characters into a document?

How can I insert emoji or other special characters in a document using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI? I went to special characters from the Edit menu and may not understand how to insert the special character in the document.

He's not that kind of editor. You can use the characters in a font. If you can select a font with the emoji, which fits into the case, and then enter the characters, it can work.

This suggests that you try to do TOO MUCH with a PDF file. It is a common thing, but the message should be: everything simply because you can edit a PDF file, does not mean that it is the most effective way for you to do your job.

• How to get Hebrew characters to work with the data merge?

I'm trying to work with the fusion of data with Hebrew characters and get gibrish on the Panel, merge and export.

I tried to replace the Unicode CSV file and change the language but it still doesn't work.

I worked with the fusion of data previously in English and it works perfectly.

Any ideas? is this a bug? forced software?

Try this:

Save your file in the UTF-16 BE (big endian) format.

Import, showing the options in the code. I'm on a PC, choose below without worrying.

Should look like this in ID.

My apologies to Farsi language people everywhere. I got a text from a Farsi text file to compensate for this file delimited by tabs of fusion. I'm not talking, so it's likely servely nonsense.

The editor of text used here (first screenshot) is the Open source NotePad ++. I'm not using the ME version of the code.

Take care, Mike

• Title bar of JFrame is not the display of Arabic and Hebrew characters in Ubuntu 8.04

Hi all
While internationalizing my request in Arabic and Hebrew, I had a problem in these language characters display in the title bar of JFrame. These characters are not displayed in the title bar. I have the application around 30 + languages of internationalization, but the problem occurs only with these two languages very precisely on the Ubuntu OS only. I'm able to display these characters of the language on the buttons and labels throughout the application, but cannot be displayed on the title bar. I don't know where is the problem.

Please suggest me in this regard.

Here is the code example
import javax.swing.JFrame;

public class LanguageTitleBar {

public static void main(String[] args) {
JFrame jf = new JFrame();
jf.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
//jf.setTitle("ساعة التوقف");//Arabic Text
jf.setTitle("שעון עצר");//Hebrew Text
jf.setSize(200,200);
jf.setVisible(true);
}
}
Thank you
Uday.

Would it be something simple? I think that maybe the default font in Ubuntu 8.04 may have the Hebrew or Arabic characters.

If this is it, the fix would be to install the Unicode font more complete a Ubuntu later and have your application to use. Another challenge would be to convince your three users of Ubuntu 8.04 to upgrade. ;)

do not take into account. I just re-read your first post, and only the title bar does not display the characters. The only special thing about labels and vs of title bar buttons, is that the title bar is owned by the external GUI, Java not directly. Java has an interface with the GUI to set, title bar text that apparently needs some kind of special treatment for Arabic and Hebrew characters.

• After you add the Arabic language to my preferences, the numbers always appear in Roman numerals on everything except for microsoft office. How to do it so I can type in Arabic characters and numbers in all places, not just office?

Already, I've added the Arabic language pack.
He works in the office, just anywhere else.

follow-up: I've created a KLC which actually works since Microsoft KLC does not work with the Arabic characters and Hindi digits on the same layout.

I composed the automatic installer that microsoft allows you to make and downloaded on my website at: http://ryanglynn.com/2010/12/06/arabic-keyboard-layout-finished-programming/

All the characters and Arabic numerals will work with win7 on this KLC. The installation is simple. Just open it and run the .exe

• Problem with keyboard on the M60 (characters to jump)

I bought an M60 for my wife and she complained that he jumps constantly characters. I found the same problem. For example, type in the URLS in internet explore or composing emails, he will be missed by 10% of the time characters. I saw a couple of posting on this topic in the forums.

Good old Dixons refused to refund purchases as someone called me today to say that she cannot see any problem with the keyboard.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Hello Chris

Unfortunately, the problem can be fixed with some kind of firmware. I spoke with Toshiba and this is known issue and they also said that Toshiba do some tests with the new keyboards and when this will be resolved customers can expect a help about it.

If I understand right, there is a problem with the contacts of the button. As you know that it is the new keyboard with numeric keypad and not the standard. Sorry, but for now, need you a little patience. If you want you can also try to contact the after-sales Service of Toshiba partner in your country. Maybe they have the same information. Talk with them. A consultation is free.

Good luck!
