The question is what video files you can use on the modern web?

    Forget the incorporation.

MP4 has the broadest support of browsers and modern mobile devices.

None of the additional plugins or other required software.

    Use the HTML5 tag

If you use an earlier version, use this code.

    http://techslides.com/demos/sample-videos/small.MP4' type = "video/mp4" >

If you don't see this, you are using a

outdated browser that does not support

  • I want that all types of video files to display thumbnails

Hi, I have a Vista computer and I would that all types of files from all media players display a thumbnail of the video in the Windows Explorer, rather than simply display an icon of the file type. The problem is that Vista, it only shows thumbnails of the videos Windows Media Player and not the videos using VLC Media Player (with the exception. VOB that it shows) or Quicktime. I did some research on the Internet and saw that I need to merge the registry file into the registry editor with some registry keys in it, so I tried to do. MP4 files:
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp4\shellex]
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp4\shellex\{3D1975AF-0FC3-463d-8965-4DC6B5A840F4]}
    @=""
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp4\shellex\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1]}
    @= "{c5a40261-cd64-4ccf-84cb-c394da41d590}".
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp4\shellex\{E357FCCD-A995-4576-B01F-234630154E96]}
    @= "{9DBD2C50-62AD-11D0-B806-00C04FD706EC}".
    ----------------------------------------------------------
After I'm entered in the above in the registry I restarted my PC and nothing happened, the. Video MP4 doesn't always show some photos.
Any suggestion or help is welcome and thanks in advance!

Adding random a registry key is not going to work. I also recommend strongly against any chance adding registry keys to your system.

To display a thumbnail of a video (or really any file), the program to open it should install what is called a shell extension. QuickTime MUST be installed one for MP4 videos, if this can make the video of course. You can try a repair of QuickTime installation to see what is happening. It is possible that you won't get only miniature MP4.

  • Horizontal lines in any type of video file exported into Elements 9

I spent 4 to 9 items items for my video production, and I have not been able to get rid of the horizontal lines in ANY type of file or with any setting.  I tried everything I read so far on these forums.

Many comments say that export to WMV is the problem, but I export hundreds of videos to WMV with 4 items on my computer XP 32-bit.

That or XP 32 bit on my new super powerful computer to Windows 7 64 - bit, Elements 9 makes lines with movement. The screenshot shows a typical example.  Butterflies as lines of flight and the edge of a tree, as I panned, possesses a shading along he made many lines.horizontal lines_smaller pix.png

I was never really happy with first elements WMVs. I usually have a Premiere Elements, DV - AVI output and then use Windows MovieMaker to create a really nice WMV.

    But here are some options:

When you go to computer/share/WMV, try clicking on the Advanced button and,.

In the advanced settings, go to the video tab, and then assign the Codec Windows Media Player 9 Advanced Profile. (You will be prompted to save a new preset when you click OK - so you can reuse it any time that). See if that makes a difference.

If not, there other things you can do for the DeInterlace your video on your timeline - but you shouldn't need to do this.

Or you can use my method. Windows MovieMaker is much cleaner WMVs!

  • With the help of several types of video files into one film will prevent the publication?

I am using Movie Maker on Vista.  I have mpeg, avi and wmv files.  The Movie Maker plays very well in project mode, but will not be published.  Multiple file extensions would be the source of trouble?

If so, is there a quick fix?

    Hi d1bon,

    1. what exactly happens when you try to publish a project?
    2. do you get an error message?

With the help of several file extensions should not be a concern.

Disable video filters and check the result.
    1. click on tools and then click Options.
    2. click on the Compatibility tab.
    3. to turn off a filter, clear the check box next to the name of the video filter.

You also uninstall the Codecs and check the result: Uninstall

Please provide us with more details on the issue, so that we can better help you.

How do I change the video (file format) file type? I'm trying to play the vids from my phone on my computer.

You need a video converter to change your type of video file to formats supported by the media player on your computer. I suggest you convert to wmv format. It is the most reliable format type.

Go surf the web. There are many converters FREE video that will do the job. Just enter the video converter in the search box of the browser.
I do not make recommendations. You'll have to decide for yourself.

  • Video files (any type) when they are imported, will import the video and audio.

    Premiere Pro (Mac) CC

    3.4 Ghz i7 Quad Core

    750 G SSD

    2 GB NVidia graphics card

    32 MB of Ram

Any file video, regardless of the codec, import into Premiere pro as an audio file.  I did the things suggested in other forums, such as replacement .mov file extension, I used intermediate codecs, prores422, codec .mov (HDV1080p30) among many others.

Also, I can't import a video sequence that seems to have an alpha that are associated with channel.  The graphics with alpha channel were made by Adobe AE and work well in Final Cut Pro 10.1

I need help, FCPX 10.1 is a nightmare and I have a weekly television show that needs to be done as soon as POSSIBLE.  Until now, the switch to first Pro CC disappeared not smoothly.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your response.  I could get my hands on Technical Support and we determined that my first Pro CC installation was corrupted.  It's a simple solution to uninstall and reinstall the program.  Now, everything works fine.  To answer your question, when I imported any type of video file (I tried several types of different different video files and codecs) it would be important in audio.  The icon is Audio only, when I put the sequence on the Timeline, I couldn't put anything on the timeline of the video, only Audio was present.

  • Sticks of video during playback of video files on Satellite P200-144

I updated my BIOS and Nvidia driver and now video sticks when I play any type of video file. I get any player I use - WMP or VLC. It seems to me that the video driver is the problem, as the files play fine on my old A100 for 4 years!

Its a bit of a disappointment when you spend A £1000 on a laptop and film jump!
    Ideas anyone?

    Andy

    Hello

Maybe you should first do a restore of the drivers to see if it s really driver related. If so, try this one:

Otherwise I recommend you to download a pack of codecs like k - lite and try again (www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm)

To read Matroska x 264 files in a Windows computer, you will need to appropriate decoders. Your computer does not have appropriate decoders or decoders you have might not work properly.

    > Why is it better to have the project files on an external drive?

It is best to have your operating system and the applications running a disc, your source media read on the other, and written to another export your files. In this way, the hard drive doesn't have to jump around to read and write from several different locations at the same time essentially.

There are many tips to improve performance here, including a response to your question about proxies.
