Typing Chinese on my emails using Windows 8

My IME pad doesn't seem to work on my email... accounts any recommendation to ratify it?

Hello

I would be grateful if you could help me with more information.

  1. How do you use your e-mail accounts? Is it by means of messaging app or web browser?
  2. Are you able to type Chinese in other applications?
  3. Were you able to type Chinese in emails before? If Yes, did you change on the computer?

You can change the default keyboard or the Chinese input method and check if it makes a difference:

Why, when I send an email using windows mail (RoadRunner ISP) sometimes it does not transmit the image that are in the original.

Some messages are not complying with the standards of the Internet and the images do not show before their delivery.  You can overcome this by transmitting the message as an attachment instead, and then the images will be intact.

  • Unable to send email using windows mail

I use windows mail and can receive by e-mail.  When I try to send emails to anyone, I get the following error:

An unknown error has occurred. Object "answer if you receive a ', account:"Amy Logan', server: 'smtp.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, server response: 550 5.7.1 message you tried to send was regarded as spam. I spoke with verizon several times, they can't help because if I login to my account lequipetv.fr, I can send and receive very well, but is not

friendly, I love windows messages.  Any suggestions?

It's a mistake on end of Verizon server-side no matter what they tell you and it is they who must solve.  Have you read the 'spamfaq' referenced in the error?  It can contain sufficient information to determine what you might have caused the rejection of your message.  This could also help: https://my.verizon.com/central/vzc.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=vzc_help_policies&id=AntiSpamPolicy

The people at Verizon who told you that he cannot be their problem because you can send the message when you use the web interface, don't seem to have a very good knowledge of the works of electronic mail.  When you send via the web interface, you are not in communication with the SMTP server that resembles your outgoing mail.  So, if the server accepting mail from your mail client Windows that analysis mail, using the web interface allows to bypass this server and, therefore, the scanning.

    Hi Kiss

Thanks for your reply.  I've isolated the problem.  It seems that a particular email could not be sent and has been 'blocking' of the Outbox.  It's very strange that the content in the email was the same as any other email I sent without problems this morning - I guess it could be something to do with the e-mail address? The address is for a Spanish newspaper online: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

In any case, at least I can send other emails now and I guess I'll just have to send it by mail!  If you could shed some light on the mystery of why that particular address is a problem, I would be very grateful :-)

    Thank you

  • Loss of historical emails using Windows Easy Transfer

Was previously running Windows XP with Office 2010, including Outlook 2010. Want to upgrade to Office 2013 which does not work on Windows XP so decided to upgrade to Windows 7 Home premium.  Following the instructions in Microsoft that I used Windows Easy Transfer to save all settings and data by following the instructions on an external hard drive. Has also created a copy of My Documents just to be safe. Following the instructions I installed Windows 7, reinstalled the data and settings from the Windows download file is then installed Office 2013.

All data files appear to be present and my contacts were all in Outlook 2013 however no historical emails were present. I had a lot of stored in subfolders under Inbox and sent messages and everything disappeared.

It seems strange that all contacts were copied and transferred across using Windows Easy Transfer, but not historical emails. There is no specific reference to this problem in Microsoft "upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7 instruction set.

Is it true that the files containing the e-mails were copied, but Outlook 2013 is looking for them in a different place, or does Windows Easy Transfer copy not the Inbox and sent to the files that would be a huge gap?

Windows Easy Transfer is not good to backup Outlook emails at all.

If you did a custom installation, check if the Windows.old folder to the root of the hard disk to see if your. PST file is there and copy it to your Documents folder in Windows 7.

Save the folder outlook located under:

    C:\Windows.old\Documents and Settings\Account_Name\Local Settings\Microsoft\Outlook

When you migrate to Windows 7, and then reinstall Microsoft Office, just backup copy of the contents of the folder Outlook in the following location:

    C:\Users\Account_Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\

I use Windows Live Mail to my email software.

    Windows 7 64

You used to be able to do this with OE with Insert. Text file and then designate a htm and then file it will get inserted.  So, if you save the table as a htm file, you might be able to do.  You can also try to copy (of a Web page) and then paste it into the e-mail.

I'm not an expert on WLM, so if this does not help, ask in the forum here that is specific to Windows Live Mail: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/email they also severely diminished the capacity of WLM, so you may not be able to achieve.

I can't send or receive emails from Windows Live Mail. Receive the error code 4402. I can send and receive emails from my Windows Live hotmail account. In Windows Live Mail, it also says my server is an http / imap server. Can it be replaced by a pop3 server, so, how? Thank you

Well, took me a few hours and without the help of a person (TIP!), I've fixed it. Remove the live mail client account and re-apply / restore the account. Solves what seems to be a sync error. -19 October 2011

  • Satellite P200-10O: can't send emails using Windows Vista Mail

    If anyone can help.

I have a Satellite P200-10O, with Vista installed. In Win Mail I have configured my email as usual accounts.

When i open Win Mail I can click on send and receive and he's looking for new messages, this can be repeated as often as you like. However, when I create a new message and click send it to stop working. The message is placed in the Outbox, if I open the Outbox and click on send, nothing happens, after awhile of trying every thing is blocked. If I then close the program and re open it will send the message but then sometimes send it and receive does not until you close and re open. Also message counters do not update.

I tried everything I can think of, Vista, ISP, Toshiba forum. So far, no joy even if I'll get back in touch with Toshiba again. Message is configured to send immediately.

No virus or firewall is used.

    See you soon

    Hi guys

I think you should take a look at this Forum topic:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=27336

It is not a beautiful link to FAQ from Toshiba on the question paper + the will of Windows Mail Send or Receive emails.

In addition, you should take a look at the support site for Microsoft Mail.

    Good luck

  • Can't send emails using Windows Mail on Vista SP2

I am running Windows Mail on Vista SP2. I hv set up one account using POP with a supplier's existing PSI (not the one I use). Able to read and send messages. He stopped working for the send now option. Get updates warned miss the numeric identifiers and, finally, an error: the connection to the server has failed. Are subject: join my network on LinkedIn', account: ' ', server: 'smtp.iprimus.com.au', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E. E-mail messages remain in the Outbox and Inbox update regularly.

I'm not sure of what is a provider of 'hope', but if you try to send via an SMTP server that does belong not to the Internet provider to which you are connected, then it will be probably blocked.  Many vendors have a mechanism to overcome that, but you must check with the individual POP3 provider to determine the port numbers and other settings to enable the SMTP protocol work (this is to avoid spam).

I don't know if this will help or not, but if you can send the same email as your Internet service provider and may not by another, then this is probably the reason.

Make sure you also deleted you account, closed and reopened Winmail opener and then added it again (or add another copy of the same account) to ensure that something is not altered in these settings.

  • I can't make or receive email using Windows Mail in Windows Vista.

McAfee antivirus is among the three troublemakers albums for Windows Mail.
It sometimes takes a while before the symptoms begin to appear.
First of all, turn off e-mail McAfee analysis, although it is rarely
    sufficient.
Then delete that email account (because it has been damaged by McAfee),.
Restart Windows Mail, and then recreate the account.

If the problem persists, the only way you can prove or disprove that
McAfee is that the culprit is to uninstall it, and then using their debris
    removal tool:
If you decide to replace McAfee, we recommend a free antivirus
the program that is no longer compatible with Windows Mail:
