  I am currently working on a random word generator quiz this kind of thing, you press a button (click/touch) and a random word appears, you must then click/touch again to choose that if you think it's a real word or a compound word, whenever you get a right you get a point.   TIP: If it's a laptop, be sure not accidentally brushing the touchpad with the fingers or inadvertently press the Ctrl, Alt and Fn keys you type.

  1. start the clean boot computer in order to verify if any third-party application is at the origin of the problem. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  How to run check and clean boot if you have the problem.

  i. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

  II. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

  III. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

  IV. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

  v. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

  VI. click OK.

  VII. When you are prompted, click on restart.

  VIII. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

  It is not easy to understand exactly what is happening.
  Perhaps I misunderstand you, but I think that certain window where you type become inactive and you must activate it by clicking on it.

  You must first select the text you want to cut or copy (by highlighting by scrolling on it with the left mouse held down).  When you do this the cut and copy options should become available (or you can press CTRL-X to cut or CTRL-C to copy).  Then go where you want and place the cursor and paste the text (or use CTRL-V).

  What version of InDesign are you using? What operating system do you use?

  Tell us exactly how you create your text box (frame).

  The easiest way is to choose the tool of Type (T). Click and drag an image where you want to go.
