    Difficulty for it's a drop and recreate the user dbsnmp. On any * nix db host, with a connect sysdba, drop/create/and a grant:

    @? / rdbms/admin/catnsnmp

    ...

    @? / rdbms/admin/catsnmp

    ...

    Grant execute on sys.dbms_job to dbsnmp.

    If you are using grid OEM or Cloud control dbsnmp 12 c is one of "used" connection credentials. Or if the grid is not in use on your site and can probably stop right after the catnsnmp and let dbsnmp user out of the instance. If someone wants to 'snoop' around dbsnmp is generally quite high on the list of "things to try" to see it as "lies" in the instance.

    Hello;

    It looks like how you restored the control antagonized file a copy who did align with current data files.

    I just tested this I'll now what I did different here in a moment.

    My test:

    http://www.Visi.com/~mseberg/RMAN/simulating_loss_of_control_files_rman.html

    The link shows all the details. What jumps out is two things. I put the DBID and I let RMAN decide what control file to restore. View I had the same ORA-01589 like you and how I recovered from it.

    RMAN > restore database;
    SQL > alter database open resetlogs;
    RMAN > reset database;

    and then the test data.

    I have archived redo lit and the log_archive_dest_1 =' LOCATION = / u01/app/oracle/oradata/aspasiad/arch /'

    My redo files are created it fine and I manage them manually. The disc is more complete and I noticed thousands of files in /u01/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1/dbs/ all seem to be additional archived redo logs...

    Why were they created?
    what they are?
    How can I configure oracle not create them?
    It is better to keep them?

    Thank you

    First of all, I have 1 question... R using 10g or 11g?

    Fact the script creates the Scheduler to configure the file?

    No, it creates the Scheduler of the tables in the backend, and then you need to set up the configuration. The links I provided are the right one you do not follow them.

    Is the path C:\OracleBIData\scheduler\config\instanceconfig...i checked mine this is not empty.

    This instanceconfig file is automatically generated file, how can be empty in your case?

    You can do 1 thing first, you run the script associated with what database, your use of this C:\OracleBI\server\Schema path... .so that the tables will be created in the end and after having done check instanceconfig.

  • How long "sweep of the face" in App Photos 100 000 photos?

    After update my Mac to the Sierra, the "photoanalysisd" keep treatment and looks than my photo library (100 000 photos) digitizing. Checking the status of scanning in Photos App, it took a full day to analyze only 9 000 photos (only 10% of my photo library). So, I have to wait 10 more days to complete his analysis. I didn't use the Photos App in the meantime. Is it really take that long for scanning?

    In addition, it seems to my Time Machine backup process to suck too.

    Any idea or something wrong?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Is it really take that long for scanning?

    Yes. I did not attempt to achieve something more than a rough estimate, but I think it took about an hour to complete a library of about 1000 photos.

    When it's over... it's pretty amazing, but I'm not a professional photographer. Photos is no more than a simple organizational tool. For a person of 100 000 photographs you probably already an organization plan, then perhaps you will not find these automatic features also useful as I do.

  • How to Oracle point home/U01 to the new partition/dev/sdg1 or grid.vmdk?

    People,

    Hello. I want to install Oracle 11 g RAC 2 with 2 Virtual Machines (rac1 and rac2). The virtual disk for each virtual computer is 20 GB which is/dev/sda raw device (the partition/dev/sda1 is the same size).

    I want to install Oracle 11 g RAC 2 grid using facility location is: home/.../grid/runInstaller. I'm at step 4 of 8 in the wizard whose content is as follows:

    Base Oracle: / u01/11g_grid
    Software localization: / u01/app/grid
    Book of cluster type: ASM
    OSASM group: dba

    Then click on the 'next' button I got this error:

    '[INS-32021] enough disk space on this volume for the selected Oracle home ".
    Cause - the selected Oracle home was on a volume without enough disk space.
    Action - choose a location for Oracle home that has enough space (minimum of 3, 017 MB) or free up space on the existing volume. "

    I have my 'home' directory using the test command: [host ora11g@rac1] $ df k
    Its output:

    File system: / dev/sda1 and tmpfs
    1 K-blocks: 20,308,020 and 848 184

    Available: 370 816 and 848 184
    Use: 99% and 0%
    Mounted on: / and/dev/shm

    From the information above, we saw Oracle Home/u01 is under ' / ' (a score) and it's 99% used (not enough space). I've added a new virtual hard disk (10 GB) in VM rac1 grid.vmdk whose raw device is/dev/sdg and partitioned/dev/sdg1.

    My question is:

    How to Oracle point home directory/U01 to the new partition/dev/sdg1 or grid.vmdk?

  • Problem with the archive log when you use RMAN for backup and restore (11g 2)

    Hello world
    Please help me solve this problem.
    I'm just beginner in Oracle Database (11 g 2). Today, I had a problem, I tried to back up and restore my db by RMAN. I delete all the files in /u01/app/oracle/oradata/orcl / * , then I restore them easily, but the point is I have a table, I can restore Hungarian, but cannot restore anything ranks in it (something wrong with step restore database). I'll tell the detail below.
    -First, I create a 'Day' with command table create table hr.day (varchar (20)) day. Then I backup complete by this:
    run{
    allocate channel bkp device type DISK FORMAT '/u01/backup/DB_FULL_%d_%T_s%s_p%p' ;
    backup as compressed backupset incremental level 0 tag 'DB_FULL' database include current controlfile;
    backup as compressed backupset tag 'ARCL_BKP_FULL' archivelog all delete input;
    crosscheck archivelog all;
    crosscheck backup;
    delete noprompt obsolete;
    release channel bkp;
    }

    D ' other hand, I have insert 'Monday' to table. then do an incremental backup by this:

    run{
    allocate channel bkp device type DISK FORMAT '/u01/backup/DB_INC_%d_%T_s%s_p%p' ;
    backup as compressed backupset incremental level 1 tag 'DB_INC' database include current controlfile;
    backup as compressed backupset tag 'ARCL_BKP_INC' archivelog all delete input;
    crosscheck archivelog all;
    crosscheck backup;
    delete noprompt obsolete;
    release channel bkp;
    }

    Repeat 7 times (Monday-> Saturday). And I got these files:

    [oracle@rac ~]$ ls -l /u01/backup/
    total 400280

    If i ignore it and open the database, just my table in full backup come back but rows was not restored. I'm sure the problem is my archive log backup but i don't know how to solve it. Plz help me.

    Sorry for a long post.

    > 1 and from the 1205841 SNA sequence

    The SCN that indicates Oracle is above the range of SNA that you have in the ArchiveLog backups for sequence 1 to 15 (15 sequence ends at 1205840).

    The message

    channel ORA_DISK_1: restoring archives Journal

    Archives journal thread = 1 sequence = 15

    channel ORA_DISK_1: backup/u01/backup/DB_INC_ORCL_20160120_s117_p1 piece reading

    channel ORA_DISK_1: piece handle = / u01/backup/DB_INC_ORCL_20160120_s117_p1 tag = ARCL_BKP_INC

    indicates that he has restored the sequence up to 15

    You can check the log file alert database instance for messages on the fact of recovery.

    He is now asking sequence #1 it seems you did a RESETLOGS after sequence #15.

    Note: If you have NOT issued a COMMIT after the line is INSERTED in the table 'Day', the recovery of the database will have no * transactions * to retrieve.  An uncomitted transaction is cancelled.
