U2211H hum and flicker

U2211H.  2 years and 8 months. Mac mini, macbook. My monitor is flickering and buzzing. I have reset the factory settings and use the self-test mode. In the self-test mode each color displayed ok. The flickering occurs also when it is attached to my macbook or macmini. Unfortunately, I'm in Japan, which means my warranty 1 year. Is my monitor on its way.

mchl,

If the monitor does NOT blink during its self-test, the monitor is fine. The question is the wiring or apple devices.

  • Stabilizer of color and flicker

I have some video footage that changes color through the sequence due to changes in lighting. It's a speaker next to a big screen with slides and that the change of blades, all around her Gets a different glow - orange, blue, yellow... I used the stabilizing effect of color, that was big to get a range of uniform color throughout the video. The problem is that I now have a flicker. It is partially because of the video to make it a bit grainy. That was solved with the remove Grain effect. What is the best way to minimize or eliminate the flicker?

    Thank you.

    Hi again,

After experimenting a bit more, I found a solution. I used the effect CC time blend. It does not create an efefct of interesting tracks when there is a lot of movement. But the speaker is often static. I applied a mask to the screen that its quality is high throughout.

    The new version is:

May still need to tweak the settinngs but to this video, I am happy with the result.

  • Video Flash and flicker on the websites Gifv

Since the upgrade to Sierra, I noticed a strange problem. Video on Facebook and Youtube Embedded flash flashes quickly.  I noticed in Google Chrome and Safari. I've upgraded to the latest Chrome and the latest version of flash player for both browsers. This happens when watching an animated GIF as well encoded as GIFV.

FWIW, YouTube uses HTML5 for quite some time, so flash won't have anything to do with it. Chrome has built-in flash so there's no need to download flash to Chrome.

I'm not on Facebook so I can't comment on that. I don't know where I can test a GIFV and I don't know why she would need flash.

  • Sound recording play hum and then no audio

Recently, my computer had a problem where it sometimes, for no reason that I can understand, will emit a noise for a second or two and then all the sound elements will be gone. In Device Manager, it will say that the sound card works fine. It is not a question of volume: if I turn up to 100 in the mixer, there's still nothing. If I run the troubleshooter, it will say that there is no problem. If I try if the sound recorder, it is said that a device is not found. Also, if I try to play music in Foobar, he responds with "error unrecoverable read: unknown error code (0 x 88890010). I can restart the computer and everything will be fine, but it happened with a frequency of more recent times. It is very annoying because it is quite unpredictable when it will happen.

  • Does anyone know what are the causes after effects CC gui flicker and stop responding?

I used AE for a long time, but it recently using AE CC 2014 on the high-end Windows 8 machine randomly

stops responding and flicker of minutes at a time. I have card K6000 and 32 GB of ram. Have you tried

up and down the graphics card drivers, but it still happens. I saw a couple posts on other

forums but there seems to be nothing conclusive

I was able to minimize the problem of flicker by adding quick SDDS.

Original with a lot of flicker setting:

Video source R3D files on a disk HARD USB3
Hiding on a regular 7200 RPM HARD drive - I think the cache was on a 100 GB

    New parameter

    Video files R3D on SSD
    A 2nd SSD - cache cache size 300 GB

    GUI flickering appears very little.

Funny thing: using the SSD quick GUI bug performs even better now _ it sparkles faster and works abandonment (CTRL_ALT_DEL) answers more quickly.

I hope this helps. In my case, I lost my nerves and quickly bought equipment to counter that (software?-system?) bug.

  • Address conflict IP TC and iMac

Is back from vacay to an IP conflict on my mid 2007 iMac error message. My TC Airport caught the iMac IP and will not let go. Any other device on the network wireless can enter an IP address. We have AppleTV, iPhone, iPad, even a G5 which are humming and I'm dead in the water. Cannot use a static IP address to circumvent the problem, as I previously for other problems. I'm under El captain now 10.11.5 I rebooted all dozens of times, even deleted my AirPort Extreme Extender to eliminate as a possible source of problems. My ISP don't touch anything Macintosh, but they confirmed with other devices running, it must be the iMac. I tried to change the password on the TC so that any unauthorized connection would fall, but failed. Do I have to reset the TC? If I do I will lose my backups? The iMac and the G5 were both using the TC for backups.

My TC Airport caught the iMac IP and will not let go.

Try the following to release and refresh the IP address provided to your iMac to the Time Capsule (TC):

    • System Preferences > network > Wi - Fi > advanced > TCP/IP tab
    • Note the value for the IPv4 address
    • Click on the button "renew the DHCP lease.
    • Again, check the value of the IPv4. It changed?

You should not have to reset the TC to solve this problem... but if you do, any of the types of discount to zero (soft, hard, or default) will erase all the data on the internal drive of the TC or any drive connected to its USB port.

  • Firefox seems too high, she has no header and covers my taskbar and I have to restart the computer to get away. That's happened? I win 10.

    Hello

I have a Dell inspiron with a 32 "screen. Operating system Windows 10.

Watch a video on facebook using the full screen. It froze and has a strong low buzzing sound. I had to reboot, could NOT 'leave' back to the facebook page to leave that video. After turning the power back on, I opened firefox to go to facebook and discovered that I had zoomed in on firefox somehow and I can't see my task bar background nor and the header bar, or on part of firefox. IT DOESN'T TO ME ANYWHERE ELSE ON MY COMPUTER. I can use the browser Microsoft Edge and facebook is normal, works very well. Can use my Mozilla Thunderbird and it is fine. But every time I open Firefox, it is just too big for my screen as described above. Uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and was no help at all. Always do the same thing now, so I uninstalled again. I love firefox and never use another browser.

Does he have already seen this before?

Never understood what that was this corrupted file that Fred Mcd spoke, but I followed your link, Fred. And stumbling around in the help of mozilla, I found the part on updating firefox and who did it. He actually sent me a "assistant" who did the job when I clicked on "Finish".

If Firefox is working again and my thanks to Cor - el and FredMcD

The trouble hit when I was a video on facebook using the full screen. It froze and gave a continuous hum and I had to reboot. Trouble appeared then on Firefox. Weird how? But as I say, it's OK now.

Once again thanks to you two.

  • Satellite C855 - 2fc w / Windows 8 - audio/video trolling and buzzing

For the past week or so I have experienced a problem audio previously unencountered with my Toshiba Satellite C855 - 2fc (windows 8 OS).

I had the machine since mid-February, but it was only recently that I found that whenever I try to read multimedia files through any player - mainly Media Player Classic with CCCP codecs, VLC and iTunes, but also when streaming video and audio line - everything I watch/listen to will sometimes meet a hum and that for a brief moment it blocks on a time of audio/video of the same way as shown as in this video:

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=CF9Pvdsz0UM
(not my video or on the same make of the machine, but the symptoms are exactly the same)

Although it is extremely annoying this happens particularly often - well that the time is not entirely predictable, I've found that when you listen to a podcast, it would occur about every forty minutes - I'll post again after trying time during video playback.

Whenever it happened I already had the the Task Manager ready and waiting, but so far I have not noticed any jump in CPU or anything whatsoever on the performance tab or anything that would stand out as being abnormal.

I'm lost as to what to do about it and what could have caused this--suddenly, it started happening so I thought that there might be a possibility of a windows update or some such thing to happen, but while they inspected my audio driver status in Device Manager I saw that the option to go back to previous versions has been grayed out indicating that they had not been modified since I first used the machine, which means one of the indices only I had as to its possible causes has been removed from the list.

I spend most of my time watching some stuff on my laptop and it drives me crazy so if you help me to solve this problem, I love you + forever +.

    Hello

Here are a few comments on the youtube page regarding this video, and some people have already solved this problem. But it wasn't always the same solution.

A user solved this disk defragmentation HARD running and this contributed to this day

Others used a software called malwarebites pro.
It seems that this software one causes some delays during which crisscross the audio.
    You have this software?
If so, uninstall the pro malwarebites check how it will work.

  • w2216h via DVI - flicker, too much text, etc.

    Hello. I'm on a HP a6614f with screen w2216h.

I have upgraded to a Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT from PNY video card and have been connecting the monitor and the card via VGA. Today I received my DVI-HDMI adapter (down a cheap eBay HK if it makes a difference) in the mail and tried out. The image was horrible! There are vertical lines everywhere. I could solve this problem by going to the Nvidia Control Panel and change the format digital color of RGB to YCbCr44. However, I always had other problems.

The screen flickers a lot, sometimes to two or three seconds at a time, or even longer. Text would also look too strong, making it hard to read, and it is an area in the middle of the screen where the text would be a blur. The blur seems to correct itself (I didn't really do anything but to disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable to the end of the adapter) but the problem of a text sharpness and flicker still exists. Also, the colors were a bit off. For example, the red underlining of Firefox for misspelled words appear gray.

My resolution when you use VGA is 1680 x 1050, which is the native resolution. When I switch to HDMI, the native resolution is higher than this and when changed to that resolution is horrible. The edges are cut off or something, so I left it to 1680 x 1050, which is what I am anyway.

Anyone has ideas how solve my problems? I am currently using VGA.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

  • TDMS write to the auto folder causes the flicker of the cursor

I joined a project (8.6 LV) showing this problem.  When writing to a TDMS file in a folder of automatic settlement, the cursor briefly becomes a hourglass.  This behavior is not seen when a folder is not monitored by LabVIEW project through AutoFill.

    Run the VI.

Toggle "Auto" true and wait 10 seconds to see flicker.

Toggle the 'automatic' to False and flicker settlement stops.

    -Jason

    Hi Kyle,.

In the forum you referenced, issue of mvickerman on the flicker of the cursor centered around closing and rinsing of a file.  The real cause is that the file operations are conducted on a file that resides in the LabVIEW project folder was auto.  I started a new thread to document the question more directly where others see a similar problem (writing to a file and see a flicker of the cursor).

If the flicker that bothers someone, during development, they can stop automatic settlement on the record with the data file or manually include the data at the root of the project file.  Despite what says the solution on this forum, the problem doesn't seem to be the data file being simply in the project, but in a case of automatic settlement.

    As I said there:

«For the record, I always choose to use automatic settlement files.»  I built the demonstration project to prove to myself that automatic settlement of records caused the problem.  Like most, we build applications (exe) for the customers, and data files are not in the hierarchy of development.  Besides, the customer have usually the LabVIEW project open if they have LabVIEW at all.

Thus, the problem with deployment. »

    Take care

    Jason

  • A buzzing and crackling sound w / HP ENVY Sleekbook 4 Beats Audio

Product name: HP ENVY Sleekbook 4 PC
    Product number: C2K72UA #ABA
    64-bit Windows 8

I've had this laptop for only a month, and it was going well until a few weeks ago, when he started to make this hum whenever I listen to the music or watching youtube videos. He emits a hum sound and accuses the audio for a second.

The sound was rare at first, but then lately my laptop did the sound hum frequently to the point where I just put the audio mute.

I did the HP Support Assistant, and everything is up-to-date.

    I also reinstalled my driver.
    My audio drivers are:
High Denfinition Audio CODEC IDT (I reinstalled it)
    Intel(r) Audio display

I also hear the hum when I plug my headphones too.

This may sound weird and you would never think to make a link between a hum and a wifi card driver, but the original poster marked this resolved, and said the driver solved wireless installation. The post is linked below.

    http://goo.GL/FEXqp

Locate the driver for your card wifi here. You can find on which driver you need by pressing the Windows key + x simultaneously and selecting menu display the network adapters in Device Manager.

  • Computer, stop and press back through web pages.

My computer turns off without warning and goes straight to a white screen and the "no signal"message." At the beginning it was all playing games online (basic Bigfish Facebook stuff), but now it stopped just after turn on.
If I use internet explorer, it will sometimes tap back to the previous web page as if I am hit the arrow to the left. On a bad day, he'll quickly scan through all the web pages I've visited, sometimes most recent return to the web page.
I've defragmented, disk cleanuped, restored to a previous point of store where it worked fine, perform analyses for viruses and malware and nothing software did appear as a problem... but always the computer is shut down and flicking through web pages.

You have the hardware failure. It could be something as simple as the video card or something more serious such as the motherboard. There is no way for me to tell what you have written. You can solve yourself or take the machine to a competent local professional. Do not use a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad or place.
