Satellite C855 - 2fc w / Windows 8 - audio/video trolling and buzzing

For the past week or so I have experienced a problem audio previously unencountered with my Toshiba Satellite C855 - 2fc (windows 8 OS).

I had the machine since mid-February, but it was only recently that I found that whenever I try to read multimedia files through any player - mainly Media Player Classic with CCCP codecs, VLC and iTunes, but also when streaming video and audio line - everything I watch/listen to will sometimes meet a hum and that for a brief moment it blocks on a time of audio/video of the same way as shown as in this video:

http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=CF9Pvdsz0UM
(not my video or on the same make of the machine, but the symptoms are exactly the same)

Although it is extremely annoying this happens particularly often - well that the time is not entirely predictable, I've found that when you listen to a podcast, it would occur about every forty minutes - I'll post again after trying time during video playback.

Whenever it happened I already had the the Task Manager ready and waiting, but so far I have not noticed any jump in CPU or anything whatsoever on the performance tab or anything that would stand out as being abnormal.

I'm lost as to what to do about it and what could have caused this--suddenly, it started happening so I thought that there might be a possibility of a windows update or some such thing to happen, but while they inspected my audio driver status in Device Manager I saw that the option to go back to previous versions has been grayed out indicating that they had not been modified since I first used the machine, which means one of the indices only I had as to its possible causes has been removed from the list.

I spend most of my time watching some stuff on my laptop and it drives me crazy so if you help me to solve this problem, I love you + forever +.

Hello

Here are a few comments on the youtube page regarding this video, and some people have already solved this problem. But it wasn't always the same solution.

A user solved this disk defragmentation HARD running and this contributed to this day

Others used a software called malwarebites pro.
It seems that this software one causes some delays during which crisscross the audio.
You have this software?
If so, uninstall the pro malwarebites check how it will work.

    Hello

I am currently working on a digital publication of a book for children for iPad, but face to face difficulty to work with audio and video when they play together.

In some pasta spread, there are videos set to AutoPlay and videos have no sound band. At the same time, I have a button that triggers an audio (song).

The idea is that you can start the audio and listen to the song while you do scroll down and read the story and watch the videos.

The problem is: even that the videos have no sound, the audio and video just do not play together. If the audio is playing, the video does not start. If the video plays and I start the audio, the video stops.

Did someone ever faced this problem? Is there a workaround solution, any solution that makes my song keep playing sound videos so that no play?

(I'm sorry for my spelling. Not an English speaker.)

    Your English is very good.

Possible solutions include adding music to video or convert the video into a sequence of images.

  • Problems with audio/video playback and the Source window

I have some videos that I try to import into my sequence. Whenever I have open the video in my source window (or drag it to the timeline), the sound goes crazy. He starts to jump and identified himself. When I open the movie file in Quicktime format on my computer, it opens and plays very well. In addition, I don't know if it is not connected, but sometimes, when I open a video in the window of my Source, there is no audio. I can drag to the sequence and double-click on it to put the video of the sequence in the Source window and it plays very well.

The video that I have problems with is a .mov, filmed from an iPad (not sure what model of iPad). It is filmed in Portrait mode, do not know if it matters. Please let me know what other information would be necessary to solve this problem.

I am trying to install Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite 855.
At present, we have 8 Windows is installed. The computer runs about 05:00 and 23:00 without obvious problems. for example no 'blue screen of death '.
Secure boot is disabled and the boot mode changed to UEFI to CSM.
The computer starts correctly on DVD player and the message "starting Windows 7", then on the logo.
Shortly after, the computer will not quiet i.e. no noise among readers and seems to stop and nothing happens. (we left on during several hours, just in case where)
Different disks of Windows 7 have been tried with the same result.
We also tried exchanging the hard drive completely and replacing it with a new drive with no success.
The computer is now running Windows 8 back without any obvious problem, but we want to run Windows 7!

Have u tried to boot the installer of windows 7 on USB?

  • Satellite C855-2F1 - internal Windows 8 recovery tools does not

    Hello

This Toshiba laptop not recover itself thanks to the built-in tools.
I tried to reset the PC, and restore factory default, however, both saying "there was a problem.

I think I want to clean the hard disk and manually, re - install Windows 8 from a good USB stick, however I do not see the product key of Windows 8 on the underside of the machine. Is it hidden somewhere else?

Also, if I have to re - is install manually, possible to recreate the recovery partition?

    Thank you very much
    Rob

    Hello

I guess you want to retrieve the computer laptop back to the factory settings.
To do this, you have two options:

    (1) use the internal HARD drive recovery procedure:
    Details here: [Windows 8 recovery & repair | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB2A03ES0000R01.htm]

    (2) you must use the Toshiba Recovery Media creator to create first recovery media (disk or key recovery USB flash Recovery)
Then start the laptop using this support would begin a new installation of operating system and would be to install the image of Toshiba. This image is already activated and needs no series keys.

  • Satellite A-L70-12W - HDMI only audio in stereo and 5.1 not send

    Hello

I have a question about my laptop's HDMI output.

When I connect an HDMI cable to my tv and cable toslink from my TV to my receiver, my laptop still sends 2.0 sound to my TV.

The TV I use is the LG 42LV3400-ZA, and he is certified Dolby Digital.

I have there any possibility of a 5.1 signal via this laptop HDMI port?

    Thanks in advance.

HDMI offers digital sound output means that the stereo and 5.1 would be financed.
The question is if you have used an audio source that supports 5.1, and if your playback software has been set to 5.1 too.

There is usually only one place where you can check the audio setup for HDMI output port.
This can be checked in Control Panel of-> sound-> the Read tab

Here you will find the different devices that are available for the audio output.

But as I said above: important are the settings in the software you use for audio playback.

And how you try reinstalling Vista? Using the recovery image (factory settings) or you try to install the clean version of Vista?

Sorry, but I don't see any sense why you are doing this. Your laptop comes with Vista. Is there a particular reason to achieve?

  • Satellite C855-22U - quality audio output problem

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite C855-22U (OS Windows 8) Audio Output is really bad, not only music, but also record something (through the software like Audacity, for example and listening to the result on the other PC)

How can I solve this problem?

    >... Audio output is really bad
Is this notable with only internal speakers? Have you tested with headphones or external speakers?

  • Satellite C855 - speakers suddenly stopped working

I have a Satellite C855-1J2 running Windows 7 Edition Home Premium SP1. I turned on December 21, 2012 and installed five applications - the latest versions of Firefox, CeltX, Notepad ++, Open Office and Microsoft Security Essentials (I removed McAfee). I have the latest Windows. Since then I have not installed other applications.

Three days later, my laptop was working fine until, suddenly, that the speakers stopped working. I can identify the specific incident that caused it. I connected a pair of perfectly ordinary headphones using the standard headphone jack, power the laptop off, after that I was done listening but headphones plugged on the left.

When I turned on the laptop back the next day, no sound came in headphones.
When I unplugged them, no sound came from the speakers.
I rebooted my machine and the speakers worked fine.

However, I am now in a situation where whenever I turn on my laptop, the speakers do not work and they will work again when I restart then. A little investigation of this problem shows the following...

Whenever I turn on my laptop and go to control panel-> hardware and sound-> manage Audio devices I see two items:

    (1) ' - high definition Audio Device - speakers not plugged"with a speaker greyed out icon with a red arrow.

    (2) "audio digital (S/PDIF) - high definition Audio Device - default device" with a colored external amplifier icon (it looks a bit like a DVD player) with a green check mark. There is an icon of audio level next to him that shows sound whenever the sound is played on my laptop, but no sound is audible, either through my speakers or headphones.

Whenever I then reboot my laptop and go to control panel-> hardware and sound-> manage Audio devices I can see an article:
"Speakers - Realtek High Definition Audio - Default Device" with a colorful speaker and a green arrow icon. The sound works perfectly well.

I already looked online and the Toshiba forums for a solution to this, but while I found lots of people with similar problems of speaker with Toshiba Satellite laptops, I have not found a solution (and when I say something, I mean something a little more useful that "have you tried completely reinstalling your operating system') so this thread.

Even if a reboot is currently to solve my problem, I obviously shouldn't have to restart my machine at all in order to get something as simple as his, so my questions are:
    (1) what is the cause of this problem - in other words, why what is happening?
    (2) what is the Toshiba solution to this problem?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

It seems to me that the issue you described above that the speakers would not be chosen as device by default, but the Audio Digital (S/PDIF).
Somehow the audio driver cannot detect the first initialization of the system speakers.

I don't know why this happened but I have two proposals:

(* 1) * uninstall the audio driver from the system. Download the driver from his most recent of the Toshiba page and install it after restarting the laptop first.

(* 2) * if installing the audio driver is not enough, the last resort would be the recovery of the system.

(> 2) what is the Toshiba solution to this problem?
If you want to get a recommendation of Toshiba, I would give advice to connect with people. It is the community of users.

  • After the installation of the OC windows 7 audio driver cannot be installed

My computer is Toshiba satellite A40-s270 is designed for Windows XP after the installation of the co win 7 the sound is not coming on the icon of speakes I see X in red. What can I do to get the sound

    [Moved from comments]

    Hi Dr.Kamuzora,

There is no Windows 7 drivers for your model. You can see the following link for more details:

    http://support.Toshiba.com/support/modelHome?FREETEXT=556028

Windows 7 drivers are not available, first of all, let's try to uninstall their current card drivers and restart the computer so that Windows will try to install the base for your sound card drivers.

    Refer to the procedure below:

    a. press Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc, press on ENTRY.

    b. in Manager devices, go to the audio, video controller and game, expand it.

    c. right-click on its index map, click on uninstall and click Ok.

    d. restart the computer.

If the sound does not work, we will try to install the XP drivers (from the link above) in compatibility mode.

Refer to this link: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

If the problem persists, I suggest you contact Toshiba support:

Hope the above information is helpful.

  • Satellite C855-1st wont even boot BIOS

Hi guys I really could do with some help.

I have a toshiba satellite c855-1st. I came to him today and it wouldn't start at all.
When I hit the power button I get a white light solid on the front but nothing happened.

I googled my problem and I tried all the "remove the battery, hold power 60 seconds, try new etc etc' advice, no plan for me.

So I decided to demolish everything and managed to get the system tries to boot (hdd light lights, fans spin, display lights etc.) but I just get a black screen for 30secs then it stops. Ive tried to remove the cmos battery, remove, Exchange and alternate the 2 ram sticks but still no joy.

When I put back it together but it goes back to just the white led (no fans etc.). I discovered that when I unplug the keyboard, then it will try to start but fail after 30secs. It does not seem to be still "ad".

I find the keyboard very strange thing and the only thing preventing me from believing that my motherboard is dead...

can someone please shed some light on this for me. Thank you

.. .but I just get a black screen for 30secs then it stops. Ive tried to remove the cmos battery, remove, Exchange and alternate 2 ram sticks but still no joy
.. .thing keeps me from believing that my motherboard is dead...

I'm afraid you might have reason... it's just my personal opinion, but if the laptop does not start using new, good work RAM modules, then the motherboard could be the troublemaker...

  • Re: Satellite C855-29N - CPU tips

    Hello

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite C855-29N model. It was a refurb and was advertised as having an i3 clocked at 2350 m, but he did a b960m. I'm not messing around with the return of what I really like the laptop but I was wondering just on the upgrade of the processor for the i3.

I know that you are not officially compatible it as such, but the i3 - 2350 m example would be compatible with the laptop?

According to the specification of laptop has this model of laptop PENTIUM CPU B960SP inside (original configuration) and I don t know where you got more information on i3.

If you don't like this original configuration best option for you is to return and buy another laptop with your favorite hardware. Update CPU or Exchange is not supported.

  • Ripple delete, and audio/video tracks

    Hello

    1. when I change I tend to cherboard audio/video, then I will have a video/audio 1 shot and the other on audio/video 2. Now unfortunately when I remove the ripple, the clips will overlap. What I want to do is align with the last clip of any audio track (see photo). I hope it's just a few settings that I need to change.

    2. once a clip in the timeline panel, say on audio/video 1 and I would like to make the video clip 2, is it possible to drag and have audio and video move to their track of 2? Now, I have to move audio and video separately, even if they are related.

    3. is at - it a shortcut to unlock clips (separating audio and video)?

    ripple delete.jpg

    2. in previous versions (Pro2?), the audio part went automatically to the corresponding track.

Select the clip and drag the video portion to follow both.

Do not let go of the clip.

Now, press SHIFT and hold down the key, always with the selected clip.

Move the mouse over the audio 2 track. (or whatever the way you want it to be on)

You can do this with several selected clips and contrast from the first selected audio portion.
