Unable to access drive healthy

I use an SSD for windows but my old partitioned disk still installed.

Both partitions are healthy display in the Manager.

However, I can't access one of the partitions, and I'd like to access the data on it.

(this title also has windows installed on it).

Properties on Manager I see allocating space used, so the data is there.

However, in 'My computer', it shows just in NTFS and properties show 0 bytes free and used.

I can not run the disk check as it says windows cannot access the disk.

Earlier today at the start he spent a very long time in replacement of invalid security I / d with default i / d (I suppose that now, it must have been on this score).

I can access the security for the Player tab.

Any suggestions please?

Thank you

Nick

I had another account (Administrator) who got on the logon screen

If I log in as an administrator, the drive is accessible.

I'm going to copy files, I want to my other then separate drive reformat everything and start again.

  • Unable to access drive c on Windows 7 Home Premium

I can't access my c drive, it says NTFS. I know a lot of wats. I use genuine windows 7 Home premium.
    thnx.

    Hello MohiniPande,

File system NTFS (New Technology) is a file system that supports the disk hard sizes up to 256 TB.

NTFS is the file system main used in Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows NT operating systems.

When you format your hard drive for Windows 7, it has been formatted with NTFS. It is normal that you see.

However, you should access your C:\drive.
Go to disk, right click and select Properties.
Then go to the Security tab.
    You should see:
    Authenticated users
    System
    Directors

    You see your user name?

Did you run the SFC/scannow as suggested Hula_Baloo?
    It found errors?

Please answer back with an update on your question.

  • Unable to access Windows Update page

I am running XP Service Pack 3 and were unable to access the Windows Update page for a few weeks now. I get an error message saying that "Internet Explorer can not locate the page". I tried several routes to access the update page, but they all fail. Analysis of virus and malware picked up nothing. I am running Internet Explorer Ver 8.

It turns out that the problem was software malicious. After the last post, more I tried to do at least I could do: Internet Explporer wouldn't start again, I could not copy files from one drive to the other and my backup software has been disabled. I have reinstalled Windows to solve problems. Scans of my files from backup using Quick Heal has revealed the presence of Trojan.Gen, who may have let in some other bad guys. I can now access the update site.

  • I'm unable to access my administrator account. What should I do?

I'm unable to access my administrator account. I accidentally downgraded two other accounts that I had standards. The account that remains an administrator is only a back-up, and the password it's forgotten. I tried repeatedly to enter the passwords I have used before and it didn't work.

I tried several methods, including the run as administrator command line, but it says that my access has been denied. I can't go into Safe Mode, either. My laptop makes one beep when I press F8 during the restart. I can't download software to help me. I am unable to run most of the system, including System Restoresettings. My laptop is Windows 7 Home Premium, model Lenovo idea Pad N585.

Is this what can I do to become an administrator? It would be very much appreciated if someone could help me solve this problem. I'll provide more details if they are needed.

    Here you go:

    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your system repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the CD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Set Windows to a point before you downgraded your admin accounts.

If you do not have a CD to repair system, then you will need to ask a friend to burn you through the control panel / backup and restore.

P.S. A spare admin account is a great idea. Use for experiments, for example in downshifting, is doomed to failure.

  • Unable to access e-mail. Password does not. Cannot receive e-mail to resett

Request password reset. Said that they sent me an email. Unable to access email - this is the problem! What now?

You confirm the password to webmail providers page by logging in with the user name and password. If they work then you have the correct credentials. When you do that, you need to get a list of the parameters of the server of your provider and check what you have in Thunderbird.
You can post the Thunderbird troubleshooting info here and let someone to look at the settings you have now. They can spot a problem.
You know that you are using the right username and password first.

  • Unable to access several sites and install apps in the appstore. A possible malware issue. What should I do?

    Hey guys,.

I am using a 8 GB Mac Mini with an i5 processor clocked at 2.6 GHz Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 (14F27).

I don't have problems with this until I visited a torrent site (I hate invited but unfortunately I did this time). Since that unfortunate activity, I get mackeeper pop ups and my search engines by default on all my browsers like Safari, Firefox and chrome automatically replaced by trovi. I can't access to 90% of websites like YouTube except facebook, twitter, Netflix, gmail, google, yahoo and other email clients. I get a "cannot connect" on firefox and messages error 'Safari cannot connect to the server. I checked with the ISP settings and proxy but no problem there as my other devices such as the ipad and the iphone apple work fine on the same wifi network. I erased all the extensions, cookies and cache but without success.

I am also unable to access the app store to install applications. I wanted to make its own memory and a removal of the malware, but couldn't that since the appstore could not contact the server.

I mainly use this machine for audio production and browsing through Logic Pro X.

What is a malware problem? If so, how to fight that? Should I format my HD and upgrade to El Capitan? Who will solve the problem?

    Kindly help.

    See you soon,.

Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

Firefox running on the latest version of Fedora, after a few minutes of use, Firefox becomes unable to access many Web sites. It seems to be limited to the Web sites I visit frequently, but it is difficult to say. It affects all sites, however. It also affects the same sites every time. Restart the browser fixes it, and that it will often resolve itself given sufficient time, also.

I tried to clear my history and cookies, reset the browser and navigation without any active modules, but nothing seems to have an effect.

    Try disabling IPv6.

    Check also for other issues.

You can try to reset (power off / on) of the router.

Firefox is unable to access the Internet. Internet in the phone works, because all applications in my phone are able to access the Internet. I tried to access several different web pages.
