This is the error message I get when trying to log in my email on the desktop. It seems to work fine on my mobile e-mail app, but not on the desktop. Help, please

  1. Are you using any e-mail client or try to access the Web-based e-mail?
  2. If you use any email client then what mail client do you use?
  3. You have security software installed on your computer?

Try to start the computer in a clean boot and temporarily disable the security software and then try to access email as there might be chances that some security software or some startup items is limiting to get open.

Step 1: Perform the clean boot.

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

  • Unable to connect to computers via Remote Desktop on the VPN connection.

    I have a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory network. Connect you to it remotely using an appliance, Sonicwall TZ170 VPN/Firewall DHCP pointing our internal DHCP server so we do not use the Sonicwall DHCP over VPN.

    The area has been recently rebuilt completely charge and the VPN connection was stronger than it has ever been when connecting to computers on our network for the first 2 weeks. In the last few days, however, people had problems connecting on our desktop computers. They can connect to some but not to others, and in the case of a person who needs in particular access to a computer, it can not connect to it all.

    I don't think it's a VPN issue but something to do with the DHCP/DNS/domain controller server. However, I am not able to locate the problem.

    In the past, this same thing was a problem before I took over. We had just a matter to the inconsistency of the connection until I thought I had solved the problem (however short-lived the fix was) with the refurbishment of the domain controller.

    Customers are a mix of Windows XP and Windows 7.

    Any ideas? I will provide all the information I can.

  • Unable to connect with desktop remotely

    With Windows 7 Pro, try connecting to office having same exact OS W7 pro, both machines are new Dell XPS 8700 s. I get message failed to connect as another 1.2.3 off voltage, i.e., cables etc bad machine. Not true because I can connect to the office with old laptop on XP machine. All other remote employees running W 7 pro can connect to their respective port passed from office machines. I tried every permutation in the desktop settings remotely.   • Unable to connect to the Internet or Email

    For some reason, I am unable to connect to the internet or e-mail using a wired connection. Earlier today, I was installing a wireless printer and I got it in collaboration with the wireless network. But now I switched to the cable network and I can not connect. However, the connection to the LAN network is showing that I am connected. To post this message, I had to go back to the wireless network.  I guess I have inadvertently changed a setting somewhere. I know that my firewall is not blocking the connection, because I disabled it previously but the LAN would not even connect. Any ideas?

    Well, I found the problem. It's working now. The problem was that the TCP properties have been changed somehow. There was a specific IP address instead to get the IP address automatically is checked.

    I'm having a problem connecting with Easy Connect. I had no problem when I lived in Orlando and helped my mother with her computer.     Since the upgrade to IOS 10 my iPhone 6 with stubbornly refuses to connect to the App store. The error message is "unable to connect to the app store, try again."

  • Unable to connect to btinternet

    Since this morning, Thunderbird is suddenly unable to connect to btinternet to get my mail and continues to ask for a new password. However, the password there is correct, and I can log on fine using a browser. Anyone know what is happening? What is (most likely) BTInternet or Thunderbird? It is logging on the property for other accounts.

    BT/Yahoo have had some serious failures in the last two days with emails endangered and one host of other harmful rot.

    Usually if Thunderbird tries to connect with a wrong password it get an error from the server and invite your to a new. If the server is all messed up that what is happening is anybodies guess. In this case, no one does not enter a prolonged discussion / diagnosis on what either Yahoo or BT until they get their collective act together and fix what is broken.

    Press the "Shift" key and while holding this button on your unique keyboard, click the icon of Safari on your Dock.

    Open Safari - Preferences - Privacy - data to remove any Web site.

    Open the menu to go with the Option (Alt) key - library - key locate Safari folder and place it on your desktop. Restart your Mac, open Safari and delete the file from your desktop.

    Also, try the following steps:

    Restart your Mac.

    Try to start:

    -Stop your Mac

    -Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

    -Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

    -Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

    -Once your Mac boot, restart dhcpd as you usually do.

    If this does not help, follow the instructions below:

    -Stop your Mac

    -Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

    -Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

    -Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

    -Once you see office, start a scan Disk Utility to detect and repair file system errors (remember to choose your primary hard drive)

    -Click on the disc to check, then, if requested to solve the problems on the repair disk

    -After that click on verify disk permissions, and then click Repair disk permissions

    -Once the process is complete, stop your Mac and turn it on again after 30 seconds

    Hi, I am unable to connect to my WIFI.

    My router has been zapped in recent storms and talktalk sent me a replacement. While setting up, I decided to change the ssid and the psk.

    The new router but not my Satellite C55A will connect other devices in our home (laptop, desktop and Tablet). He can see the new ssid but when I enter the psk it gives the message "unable to connect to this network. I have win 8.1 ar956x, driver atheros wireless network adapter is 10.0.0.263.

    Any suggestions?

    It is really strange. Normally it should not be a problem. When the WIFI network is detected, all you need to do is put the correct password.
    Have you checked all the WLAN settings on your machine?

    Is there a possibility to test with another WLAN from your friend, just to see if the problem is the same?

    I have an officejet pro 8600plus. When I bought it, I have activated ePrint and registered my printer, but never used the feature. Since then, I updated from XP to windows 8.1, changed a router and connected the printer through a series of switches on a wired ethernet connection. A few days ago, I tried to use e print but received a message that I couldn't connect to the server.

    my printer prints fine, connects to each computer on my home network, I just upgraded the firmware with success to [personal information deleted]
    and yet, for more than three days, unable to connect to the server. I even deleted my account eprint printer, after changing his email successfully, but now I can not add new, I can't get the code because I can't activate the web plus services.     Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I think since upgrade to 8.1 Windows and change your printer router cannot connect to web services to get the job of ePrint feature.

    Please define Manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers. I've included a link to another post, I did it with the stages (including screenshots) how to do it.
