Hi all..

After having managed completely the installation and configuration of essbase 11.1.2.3 iam unable to connect to the management console essbase server,

and also, when connecting to the oracle database, he says 'not found oracle. "

Essbase 11.1.2.3 is installed in windows server 2008 R1.

OK so Essbase is now running, so you should be able to test a connection through Maxl, run c:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\EssbaseServer\essbaseserver1\bin\startMaxl.bat

e.g. login password admin on ServerName.

    the issue was that the VMware system was on a different subnet, and the firewall (TMG) blocked. bring the RDP to the Vcenter server and vsphere then open works like a charm

    If you use vcenter to manage your servers from another computer. You should try to disable the windows firewall on the vcenter computer that manages the esx server. He worked for another problem in the past. Windows firewall started blocking applications of mks someday and we don't know why. Allowing exceptions in windows firewall did not work if the firewall has been turned off completely and then it worked.

  • ESXi 5.5 - unable to connect to the management network

    I've been using ESXi for v3.  I have a small cluster of HP DL360 G5 where I was using ESXi 5.1 update 1.  I brought a new DL 360 G5 into the mix and decided to install 5.5.  After the installation, I'm going to set up the management network as usual and even after a reboot, I'm unable to access the site via http or the vSphere client.  For help, I installed the version of HP with CIM providers and I installed the stock VMware 5.5 with current pilot Rollup and they all exhibit the same behavior.  It starts fine, but I can't connect to the management network.  Curiously, however, they address IP does not respond to a ping.  I installed the 5.1 update 1 on the same server and it works fine.  Does anyone have an idea on what's going on?  Are there recommended troubleshooting steps?  It's strange to me because the ESXi has always been very reliable on HPs.

    Just upgraded to vSphere vCenter 5.5 and updated my device from server to 5.5.  Connection with the Windows client appears to work, but trying to connect to the console of a virtual computer via the UI (on a Mac) web results in a complaint that it is impossible to connect to the port 7331 vcenter server.  Verified by attempting to telnet to the port and by getting a connection refused.  Also connected to the device of vcenter server and tried to do a "netstat - ln | grep 7331 "to see if something was bound to that port... nothing.  Any ideas?

    And a colleague managed to beat me to Google-Fu.  Changed the script as described and the consoles are busy (and I see a process listening on 7331).

    You should try to connect with a user like Scott, HR, etc. of the OE. EM needs a connection which should have a priv select any dictionary is given to the user. Try to give this private and post your comments.

  • Unable to connect to the remote Mitsubishi OPC server using datasocket

    I can read OPC items locally using datasocket, however if the customer is in another PC I get error 1184 when I try to connect to an element. The datasocket select URL works well.

    Both computers are Windows 7 machines in the same workgroup sharing the same username/password.

    I am able to read items through the DSC OPC client (but I don't want to use DSC). This seems to indicate that the DCOM security settings are good.

    I know there is a lot of documentation on remote access OPC and DCOM and I read most of the documentation by OR and other sources, nothing helps. None of the docs are to mention this specific error code. Any suggestions?

    Well, this is typical... After two days of efforts, just 40 minutes after you posted my question I found the solution in another thread of this forum.

    The remote registry service must be running on the server.

    Now I only need to rewind some of the many settings that I did it carefully, to find the minimum working conditions.

    I'm done just to install the last control of cloud 12.1.0.3 by following oracle document e22624.

    Everything installed fine and I am able to connect to the cloud control. I manually added a target (our test server). The installation was successful without error.

    However the cloud control shows: error of assessment metrics start - unable to connect to the agent to https://server:3872/emd/main / [Connection timed out: connect]


    I ran the following on the test server to make sure that the management agent runs:

    /opt/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/agent/core/emctl status agent

    According to state that something is wrong. The test server is currently installed OEM Database Control. The directions said nothing about not being able to install Cloud control and have control OEM database.


    My question is this: can I have the OEM Database Control and control of Cloud? If this is not the case, what should I do to get the Cloud control to work?

    I opened a support ticket with Oracle. It was that the firewall is blocking communication from the SGD server to the agent. Everything works now as expected.

    I have installed and configured the services foundation, eas and essbase in windows 2003 server, afteEA r configuration I have observed that there are no tables for eas schema then I found that it was a bug and applied patch and set up again it has been successfully configured.

    When I tried to connect to the administration via the regional service console server. He States unable to connect to the administration server. everything else works.

    I see only 4 services in services.msc

    Oracle hyperion configuration manager

    EMP web server application

    opmn services

    OSH services

    all services are started with the exception of oracle hyperion configuration manager. I tried to start, but it does not start... is - this service has an impact on the administration server.

    I checked the logs, I can't find anything in easserver.log.

    any suggestions?

    Looks like you have deployed web applications to a single managed server that is running on a port by default of 9000, then try to add the server to the Regional service as servername:9000

    In LDAP, type your user ID and you see your start-up. Add the new app to your user ID, and you define.
